I'm thinking they wait until Night of Champions to put the briefcase on the line.

A fitting PPV for it. However, if they have matches for the briefcase every year, it just becomes another title. Except a half-assed, meaningless one because you're not a champion. You're a "potential" champion, who still has the potential to look like an ass when you fail to cash it in and win.
