WWE Hell in a Cell 2012: Hell No (c) vs Rhodes Scholars [Tag Team Championship]

On this week's Raw, we saw Damien Sandow and Cody Rhodes defeat Rey Mysterio and Sin Cara in the finals of the tag team tournament, becoming the #1 contenders to Kane and Daniel Bryan. At Hell in a Cell, Rhodes and Sandow will get their chance at the champions, whose dysfunctional relationship may hinder their chances of retaining.

I'm pretty excited to see this match, since I think both teams have been doing a great job. Kane and Daniel Bryan are one of the best tag teams in recent memory and Rhodes and Sandow have some serious chemistry in their own right. I don't think we'll see Kane and Bryan lose just yet, but it'll definitely be a win involving some shenanigans. I won't complain either way, though -- this match has the potential to be the highlight of the card.

So, what do you guys think?

I think it'll be a good match, one that ultimately sees Bryan & Kane come close to losing the titles due to their squabbling. They'll use the differences in team unity to tell a good story and I'm thinking that this might be the match to open the show and wake the crowd up early. After all, whenever Bryan comes out, the crowd comes alive with the Yes! chants.

I'd say this match will go to the 12-15 minute mark with Team Hell No managing to pull it together just long enough to get the win and score some payback for being attacked this Monday on Raw. Bryan & Kane are doing too good of a job and are too over to take the titles off them at this point. The tag team division has a lot of momentum right now and they need Team Hell No to continue to spearhead that momentum.

Tbh, this match needs to be in a HIAC match, because so far, on the card there is only 1 HIAC match, and to me this tag team match would be fitting in a cell. Remember when bryan and kane chair shotted all those guys on smackdown a month ago? Imagine if they did that in a cell. I rekon Bryan and Kane could cause some serious hell in a cell (hahaha a play on words :p ) anyways, i hope this is a good idea, because, it could work.

Really liking the tag division right now. I think this match will get a bit of time with Team Hell No retaining after a hard fought win. I think they will stay champions a bit longer possibly having another match with The Rhodes Scholars down the line. Hell No has momentum right now and they will keep it here.

Hell No has run its course i feel. They need to lose here to have this feud continue ithink. After losing Dr. Shelby shows up again and patches them for good this time. They fight hard in next ppv and succeed with Unity. They can separate at wrestlemania which will be good IMO.

This is gonna be a good match. I must say, I like them rebuilding the tag team division with all these new teams coming out of the woodwork.

That being said, I'm going with Team Hell No. Sandow and Rhodes aren't developed enough or over enough to make me think otherwise. I expect this match to go 10-15 minutes at least, but The Champs are going to retain the titles.

I feel like Team Hell No haven't reached their peak potential together. Losing the Tag Team Titles at Hell In A Cell would be pointless. Give this match enough time to tell a story. Let all four guys look good. Everybody can shine in this match. Then, after 10 or so minutes let Kane and Bryan pick up the win.

Also, split up The Rhodes Scholars. They are much better off as singles stars in my eyes. Cesaro and Kingston needs some new feuds.

Will The Rhodes Scholars become the new tag champs? Hell No.

I'm with the general consensus here who believe that Team Hell No are going to retain their titles this Sunday and it's for several reasons. Firstly I don't believe that Team Hell No need to split up any time soon. The crowd love them, they've managed to hold onto the attention of most of the internet, and ever since they won the belts the tag team division really has heated up. Secondly for some reason I just can't bring myself to get behind the team of Rhodes Scholars which is odd because I like Cody and I love Sandow so logic would dictate that I would like the Rhodes Scholars which just isn't the case.

My dislike of Rhodes Scholars aside I have a feeling that they're going to be splitting up soon regardless. I believe they were perhaps only even formed in order to give Team Hell No some quality heels to beat in order to establish Bryan and Kane as strong faces. I can see Sandow and Cody splitting up after their loss and both going back into singles action although you never know really, there's always a chance they'll win but I'm confidently predicting Kane and Bryan to retain.

Like somebody else said, at this point it would be useless for team Hell No to lose the titles, specially against a team as fresh and new as Rhodes Scholars. I don't know if this match is going to be good, however Rhodes Scholars does look like an actual menace. Therefore, I don't expect at all to see Hell No as dominant as in the past.

That being said, Hell No retains once again.

I love what's going on with Team Hell No right now and I'd hate to see them drop the titles this soon. I feel there's still a lot that they can do with them as tag team champs and they're just the most entertaining thing to come out the tag team division in years. Nothing against Rhodes and Sandow but they're honestly just not doing it for me as a tag team. I feel that they were just thrown together because creative has nothing for them at the moment. Perhaps they just haven't gelled together enough yet but whatever the reason, they haven't given me a reason to legitimately believe that they'll beat Kane and Bryan. Team Hell No for the win here.

I really enjoyed the tournament leading up to this title match. Rhodes Scholars were the right team to pick to win the thing and I expect a pretty good match out of the four. Hell No have had a fun run so far and I hope it doesn't end just yet. Rhodes Scholars come off more as one of those random pairings that doesn't last long. After this title shot they will go back to their respective singles careers. Other than the WWE Championship match this is the one I look forward to the most. Probably goes on toward the middle of the evening. Team Hell No will retain because then their reign can continue while their popularity as a team continues to grow. I'm not fully against a Rhodes Scholars win, I just don't see it happening.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Team Hell No will retain the Tag Team Championship.
