So.... this had me scratching my head a bit. Why even put this match on the card? Anyway, it's been advertised so let's get some discussion going. Three former members of Team Cena from 2014's Survivor Series event (Dolph Ziggler, Erick Rowan & Ryback) will be taking on three members of The Authority in Seth Rollins, Kane & Big Show. I can't say that I'm interested in this match, like, at all. If it's Rollins, Ziggler, and to a lesser extent Rowan, doing most of the work then that will help but the whole thing just feels lazily thrown together at the last minute. It won't be anything special, probably one of the worse matches of the night especially if Big Show is in the ring for too long. I'll go with The Authority winning, if only to help Seth Rollins with getting momentum he'd need going into Wrestlemania. I'd say it goes on in the middle of the show.

DAGGER'S PREDICTION
Seth Rollins' team will defeat Dolph Ziggler's team.

What do you think of this match? Are you looking forward to it? Why or why not? Which team do you think will win and why? Any other thoughts within our forum rules are welcome. NO SPAMMING!

Discuss! :)

I think the result of this match will depend solely on whether WWE has any plans for the Team Cena trio, or more aptly, Ryback and Ziggler especially.

Obviously, this has been thrown together mainly because there is nothing to do for these guys but I do expect both Ziggler and Rollins to raise the excitement levels as they seem to have good chemistry.

However, somewhere... A Viper is lurking...

I was hoping for a one on one between Ziggler and Rollins. I'm tired of seeing Ziggler paired up with Ryback and Rowan. Dolph was booked so strong at Survivor Series and TLC, and since losing the IC Title, he's been kind of thrown to the wayside again. I just don't get it. Ziggler is one of their most popular guys and he'll probably end up getting yet another shitty match at Mania, or better yet, just be thrown into the Andre Memorial battle royal.

The entire Fast Lane card is pretty bad. This is why there shouldn't be a February ppv. You have 3 matches that will probably become rematches at Mania (Barrett vs. Ambrose, Cena vs. Rusev, and Goldust vs. Stardust). Just very lazy booking here in my opinion. Hopefully Orton gets involved at least to spark some interest.

This is some pretty lazy booking and honestly, I didn't even realize this was going to be an actual match until last Smackdown. I'm not sure who will come out on top. At first I thought Team Ziggler would win, but now I'm not so sure. The Authority kind of needs to remain on top, especially as I doubt Triple H will get the better of Sting. But this is total filler, so it doesn't matter.

Do they really need a PPV in february? You know, SNME will be just fine instead.

Could be, although this match comes down to Ziggler and Rollins as far as the match's finish, no? Who's interested in watching Kane pin Rowan or Ryback defeat Big Show? For that matter, if J & J Security interferes at the end, who gives a tin shit about the match at all?

No, I figure it comes down to Seth and Dolph....and I admit to being impressed by watching Rollins cleanly defeat Ziggler the other night without the benefit of interference. It bodes well for Seth.

On the other hand, Dolph could pin Seth in this match. Who cares? It's only a meaningless 6-man contest.

Strictly filler.

When I first heard about this match, I assumed it was elimination, and almost began to cry. However, it is non-elimination, so they had mercy on us this time. The best outcome of this would be having the majority of the match be between Ziggler & Rollins, with a small bit of Ryback beating Kane/Big Show around.

I see Rowan in there simply as the guy to take the fall, which is sad, really. However, that's assuming team Big Red Rollins wins, which I do not think is the outcome. I feel this is going to have Orton return, and somehow make sure Rollins takes the loss, thus setting up a WM singles match between the two. I mean, WM isn't far away, and it seems like there is still a lot up in the air. They have to starting building the foundation tonight.

I probably would've gone for just Rollins vs. Ziggler but I can see why they've gone for this. WWE have plans in place for Big Show and Kane at Mania. Probably Ryback too. So they've used this as an opportunity to showcase them. Rowan is just kinda making up the numbers in a match that is making up the numbers.

This match should only Rollins and Ziggler and it would be an awesome match... But is not the case so we have a filler match that probably is going to be a drag. Once again I don't care about this match nor about the outcome. So who wins? No idea.

As some poster said, maybe Rollins is about to win and Orton comes back and screws Rollins.

Why is everyone so confident that The Authority are going to win this one? They have been getting the better of their opponents for the better part of 4 months now. It's about time that RowBackLer get the better of them. This feud has been going on for far too long now and they need to start winding it up... At least for my sanity's sake. If I have to watch these six guys wrestle another tag match after tonight, I'm going to start switching off when they are on...

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say that RowBackLer get the win here as The Authority start to crumble during the match. The tension between Kane and Show has been more visible over the last few weeks since The Rumble and I think this is the time where we start looking towards splitting them up and heading towards a match at Mania to settle their differences. If I were a betting man, I would bet that Ziggler picks up the win for his team after Show hits Kane with the KO punch.

Dave's prediction:
RowBackLer wins via pinfall
