I know that pro rasstlin' has always been about getting the crowd to react. However, how much heat can someone in the role of Cole possibly need? He is the top commentator in the company and he ONLY puts over himself. He doesn't talk about what is going on in the ring and he doesn't let the other guys get a word in at all. Don't give me that tripe about how "he is doing his job good if you are that annoyed be him!" He is NOT doing his job good if he isn't adding a damn to the show.

Why is this match still going on? I know that Wrestlemania never ends feuds these days, but if this ain't a feud that should've ended weeks ago.. Hopefully it won't take 20 minutes like it did a Wrestlemania to get to the fucking point.

I hope that, this is a long shot, michael and jack swagger dominate the other two for most of the mathc. Then near the end, swagger turns on cole and does ankle lock/powerbomb on him and put JR or lawler on top of cole and let them win. Then Cole can confront swagger, and swagger eventually puts the ankle lock on him until he kayfabe hurts his ankle so bad he can not announce. This would turn swagger face and get rid of cole as an announcer, a win win situation.

Please let this be over. Matter of fact, lets make Cole the GM of RAW on monday night. Whatever happens, the bickering on commentary needs to be over, because it has reached the level of "fucking unbearable" lately.

Hopefully, Swagger gets pissed at cole, everyone whips the ever loving dog shit out of him, the crowd eats it up, etc etc.

It comes one PPV too late, but oh well. I could also see Cole somehow having something up his sleeve to come out on top, much to the hatred of the crowd.

Honestly I'd like to see Cole have some sort of dubious "ace in the hole" promo. Swagger beats up cole and it looks like JR/King will win because Swagger has had enough of his shit. then some monster heel comes out and beats down Swag. Setting up monster heel/Cole vs Swagger. The commentators get to go back to commentating. Swag is over as a face, the heel is over by association.

Rewrites after rewrites after rewrites and this one still isn't done. Sigh.
Hopefully, some kind of trigger will be pulled on moving Cole into heel management or any role where he isn't taking away from what's going on in the TV show.
I don't want to see him as the GM as that will just perpetuate him doing the exact same thing he does now and allow him to sit ringside and lower the bar for everyone involved in the show commentary.
Perhaps it will allow Matthews to shine somehow.

i agree with the guy who made this thread, cole is suposed to be an announcer, and i hate how stuck up he is when he wins, he has such a huge ego its not funny. and i hate how he repeats himself when he talks like "tap out, tap out, make him tap swagger make him tap swagger tap out tap out"......STHU!!!! i hope that swagger saves himself and help lawler beat down cole. hopefully JR keeps announcing and hopefully lawler and cole go back to wrestling though if lawler and JR win we may see a 3rd match at over the limit.

Thank god somebody agrees with my point. I could care less if Cole is a heel. I'll admit a little that he does succeed at generating heel heat, albeit the wrong kind of heel heat, but in terms of doing both a character and announcer, he fails miserably. Why do you think some of the talent ended up fading out? He buried Natalya, the Hart Dynasty, Daniel Bryan, Kaval, and let's face facts, he gets more air time than half the roster. Even if he were actually considered a good heel, not even he deserves as much air time as he's getting.

As for a 3rd match, let's hope not!!!!! The mania match was a disaster. They can't afford to have a repeat of that. The logical ending should be Swagger turns against Cole, attacks him or leaves him to get beaten down by JR and King and they humiliate Cole or cripple his ass, taking off TV. The End.

I agree with all you said except about JR as Swagger's manager. JR needs to be back at the announce table. Nothing more, nothing less

To be honest, the only one who needs to benifit from this whole deal is Swagger. Maybe a turn on Cole would be the go to move, but who knows. I imagine that somehow Swagger and Cole lose the match, then Cole slaps Swagger again and Swagger snaps. Swagger then proceeds to pound his chest in anger and grabs Cole up in the gutwrench powerbomb. Swagger turns face and everyone is happy because the annoying Cole gets what he deserves.

I honestly don't give 2 shits about this match, as long as Swagger comes out of it looking good (can be as a heel or a face, i don't really care - the guys got talent). As much as i find Cole amusing, it's gone on too long.

The 'match' between Cole and JR tonight on RAW was completely stupid, and look what happens when you put 2 announcers in the ring, Cole has a massive busted lip, and JR a busted knuckle.

Nothing new with this one in particular; other than the fact that Jack Swagger got drafted over to Raw. This match should be interesting to watch simply for the fact of wanting to see Cole get pounded.

Swagger being drafted to Raw might signal for an extension in the feud, or maybe we will see the Swagger face turn that was teased a couple weeks ago.

I'm not really looking forward to this match. It's too strange. We have a team of Jerry Lawler who is decades past his prime, teaming up with Jim Ross who WOULD be decades past his prime if he had ever been a wrestler. Two announcers who are too old to be taking up time in a match on this PPV. Who are they facing? Michael Cole, ANOTHER announcer.... and Jack Swagger who deserves a legit feud with another wrestler. Depressing. I'm hoping this leads to a face turn for Swagger somewhere down the line. Although he's getting a lot of heat for being Cole's underling, he should be feuding with other wrestlers not announcers. As for the match itself? It will probably be nothing to write home about because there's not a whole lot they could really do with it, with the faces winning and Cole blaming Swagger for the loss. This would set up his face turn. Also, a country whipping match? I've never even heard of one.

The feud that never ends. The pointless feud that never ends. The pointless feud that never ends that I'm not entertained by anymore. I'm not looking forward to this match. In fact, I don't believe it's possible to look forward to this match when the WWE has dragged this on for nearly two months. This feud, no doubt, should've ended at Wrestlemania and there's no need for it to continue. I'm picking J.R. and King will walk away the victors but it wouldn't suprise me if Cole and Swagger win this one. The WWE is pushing Cole as a heel and obviously wouldn't want to kill his momentum. Which poses the question: why the hell is the WWE pushing Michael Cole so damn much? Hopefully this question is answered this Sunday, as I am phenomenally tired of this shit feud.

How did they manage to fuck this one up? This should have ended with King destroying Cole at Mania and ending it in the middle of the ring with a pile driver. I still don't know how they fucked that one up and whoever booked that match deserves to be fired. I really can't say I care about this feud anymore, it has dragged on well past it's used by date and it really is just not interesting anymore now that we are seeing the same douche-baggery week in and week out it is getting really stale and repetitive. This feud really needs to end with this match but I have a sneaking suspicion that it wont.

In an ideal world Swagger turns face and all three men whip the fuck out of Cole until Lawler pins him with a piledriver ending this thing once and for all. This is likely to be a boring match but if it ends the feud and we see Cole get decisively beaten then there will be redeeming qualities.

I think I'm looking forward to the Diva's match more than this.... Keep it short & sweet, and don't drag it on forever like WM27. I don't care who wins, everyone would want JR to win but it really makes more sense for Cole to win for his heel push. Regardless what happens, they just need to end this damn feud and stop wasting our time with this crap.

I was interested in this feud once. It was for a couple of weeks in March, I believe. I thought we would see a funny match where one of the greatest wrestlers of all time would finally get his WrestleMania moment. But no, he had to lose and a rematch would take place with Jim Ross and Jack Swagger. Seriously, WWE has so much talent. Daniel Bryan, Sheamus, Kofi Kingston, Evan Bourne, Curt Hawkins, Trent Barreta and Zack Ryder to name a few. And they decide to put on a match with three announcers.

I'm sure we'll see this feud end. I hope we will, too. It ran it's course a month ago, now it is time to die.

As others have said, this feud really needs to end, and it needs to end tonight.

At first, the constant bickering between Cole and Lawler on commentary was kind of funny, but now it's just become overkill. I just can't stand it anymore. We get it. Cole is a dick, and Lawler is tired of putting up with Cole's shit. It's enough already. Adding JR into the mix hasn't helped things either. It just feels like they're trying to force this whole thing even more, and it drives me nuts most of the time.

I'm picking Ross and Lawler to win this. As far as quality goes, my expectations are incredibly low for this match. There should be a lot of brawling here. Also, I wouldn't be surprised if Cole and Swagger decided to overuse the Ankle Lock in this match. I just hope Ross and King win this, because this feud NEEDS to die.

Normally I would say "Well, Swagger's gonna put on a good wrestling match here." Except, both his opponents are commentators. Ugh, I hate having to be this negative but it's unavoidable here.

Turn Swagger face like he needs to and get this over with. Kill off Cole's character, he buries talent during shows and you can tell even Josh wants to punch Cole's vagina off. Stick him back into being regular old commentator Cole - can't believe I'm wishing for that. At first it was in character, but now he's a twat to the Divas and it feels like a shoot.

Hopefully Swagger's career (I think that's what it's called) can get back on track after this. He's an odd one - came in, dominated ECW, got given a title far too early, without really having built up the mic skills to be a champion ... sigh. He's better now, because he's got his actual Swagger back. For him to be face he needs to live up to his name.

Here I was thinking that the WWE had learned from the error of its Wrestlemania ways. It was putrid listening to Lawler Vs Cole at the start of Wrestlemania. So they began the show with Lawler with no Cole tonight. That was one step in the right direction. However, the overall direction continues going down hill with the ridiculous result of this match.

I can only hope that they do not drag it out until Summerslam - which I fear is where we are headed.

I registered (long time lurker) just to complain about the ending of that match. I'm not sure why Vince has such a man crush on Cole, the dude isn't a good heel... he's just being a douche, and I have a feeling he's probably just being himself.

I NEVER liked Cole, I thought he was a total tool when he was "Blonde Highlights" Michael Cole, I flat out can't STAND him now.

He's the PG era's X-Pac... basically a scumbag that would be boo'd if he was face.
