WWE DVD recommendations.

J-Dogg

The Backbreaker Machine
Ok well im having a quiet night at home because all my best friends are busy with work or other stuff and im thinking of renting some WWE PPV's and other WWE stuff on dvd tonight, so anyone that can give me good suggestions on which ones to rent tell me so i can get them.

The Starrcade Collection
Rise and Fall of WCW and/or ECW
The Four Horsemen DVD
Ric Flair's DVD
McMahon's DVD

those are the best ones out of the bunch.

Lariat i may not be able to get them because last time i check the video store i go to doesnt have all those ones except for the Starrcade, also in terms of PPV's from the 2000s i could use suggestions for that.

Ha Becca i know why you want me to get that because it has Shawn Michaels.....your a sneaky girl.

I would recommend the Ric Flair DVD or Heartbreak and Triumph. Those are my two favorite outside of Tombstone: The History of The Undertaker. :)

I think The Edge DVD set is the best single wrestler collab in quite a long time. Maybe it's the Edge Fan in me but I found it to reek of awesomeness!

Well im off too rent the dvd's soon, im gonna get a John Cena dvd, Edge, AND maybe the older DX dvd with all the swearing and get 2 PPV's to rent...fuck im gonna have fun plus i ordered Righteous Kill on cable tv.

Other PPVs to suggest from 2000:

Royal Rumble 2000
Backlash 2000
Fully Loaded 2000
Summerslam 2000
Armageddon 2000

Well i couldn't get the majority of the dvd's i wanted so i got The old DX dvd but it is fuckin censored but that's ok, i got The Rock dvd the newest on that came out last year or something and got Wrestlemania 21.

Good choices, The Rock is good and WM21 is one of the most recent ones that is up there for quality

Well i spent half an hour in the store looking for ones to rent and i got the 4 dvds for 7 bucks.

The Smackdown DVD is fantastic. And there's a brief glimpse of Chris Benoit on there.

True that, the did the good ol censor on the DX dvd i got and beeped out the f word and everything.

SummerSlam 2002 rocked. Not just because of the Michaels match. The opener is red hot. RVD-Benoit is overlooked. Solid card all around.

Heartbreak & Triumph was neat as there were four personal favorite HBK matches of mine that I was pleased to finally own on DVD.

Was Fully Loaded 2000 ever released on DVD?

And... I'm just going off what other people said. No opinions of my own.

I saw Heartbreak & Triumph at the store but just couldnt get it, i've enjoyed watching The Rock all night.

HB&T > Rock's DVD. Absolute truth. In fact, Michaels' 'From The Vault' DVD also trumps Rock's DVD. Then again, I wasn't as big of a Rocky fan as everyone else. That, and some of the match choices of the Michaels DVDs blow the ones on Rock's away.

So you got DX, WM21, Rock. and what else?

Well that was all i wanted, i enjoyed watchin a large portion of The Rock's dvd..to me the man was awesome, but he DX dvd even though edited was gold, also im still to watch WM21.

I had it on VHS, but it is in a Tagged Classics DVD with Fully Loaded 99. Don't know if it's out in the US...

You really should have gotten Heartbreak and Triumph. It is a fantastic watch and as CoCo said, it had some great matches on the extras.
