I don't mind it, I like that it's a new feud, but we know in the end Cena will come out on top. But again, it seems to be a fresh feud that has taken us away from Miz-Cena and prolongs the wait for Cena-Del Rio

Im intrested to see where the fued will go mainly because R-Truth has me intrested in him atm. I hope this leads to bigger things for Truth but I don't see it unless Cena loses to him in a WWE title match or Truth goes into a fued with someone who would look good even losing.

R-Truth is playing the whack-job quite well. I mean, we all know he won't win, not a chance in hell, but it's different from seeing The Miz vs. John Cena for the eight time in two years.
It's something different and of course Cena should come out on top but thats how you make stars. People seem to think you have to win the title right away as soon as you make it but consistently challenging for the title also makes you a main event talent as in Del Rio is my example. If you noticed wwe has been trying Truth out for a while with him always involved but losing in main event matches this past year. People rant about him being too old(39)but could you honestly tell if wikipedia didn't exist because dudes in shape. My thing is why do so many people dislike when hes getting over. If it's working why bother stopping him.

I like it. It's giving R-Truth a chance to be a top player on RAW. If he fails, then at least he and the IWC can say that "someone different was given a chance", which has been my (and many others') complain for awhile - same old, same old. If he is a pleasant surprise, all the better.
I foresee a 'dirty', questionable sort of "victory" for Cena at Capitol Punishment to further this feud to Summer Slam. This is definitely looking like R-Truth's "Big Main Event Chance".

There may be so many guys that deserve a push more, but Cena has beaten most of them already.... multiple times for many of them.
I like this. It's very edgy. It's very anti-PG. The disgruntled employee who thinks it's a conspiracy and that "the man" is keeping him down, fueds with the superface of the company who is getting all of the face time and wins in the company. It's walking the line of safe and dangerous, because one wrong move, and it could piss off a ton of people. One wrong move, and it could set off a racial tension inside the fan base that could be strange to talk about for some. And I like how, now, the WWE realizes what many people have been saying for a while and are playing on it. From The Miz first talking about SuperCena on commentary and on promos, to Booker T mentioning it, to now R-Truth talking about it. I think it's a storyline more based for adults than any others have been of late.

Everyone knows Cena will win, buts what's with all the Truth hate? Seriously, it's something new and people act like he's won the title and had it for a year. People claymore for something new, they get it and it's never enough. If it's not Christian or Morrison the IWC doesn't want it.
I love the storyline; it's very different from what they have been doing in the recent past. I really thought Truth was gonna attack that fan for a minute (If that fan was an actor, the WWE need to get a refund). Truth definitely deserves this push; it's about time he get's a chance to run with the ball. We all no that he's not going to win the title so all R-Truth haters need to stop. This give the "E" time to properly plan for the Cena-Del Rio feud at maybe summerslam and gives Truth something major to do until Jomo comes back or he wins the US or tag titles. This is how a star especially a heel is supposed to be booked; I just hope they don't screw it up.

I'm personally very pleased with this move...that is if it actually happens at Capitol Punishment. We still have to see the apology happen and the current R-Truth doesn't seem to be in much of a mood to apologize to anybody. The way I see it, they've finally gotten R-Truth where he needs to be character-wise. He's a mediocre face, but turning out to be a tremendous heel. Living it a little on the late side? Maybe, but better late than never.
I don't see R-Truth getting a main event title run...ever. Just the way it is. Something about Vince probably not wanting a representative of the company with a criminal record. That being said, I can see him getting over with a solid feud with Cena. The two of them seem to have decent ring chemistry, great chemistry on the mic, and potential for ramping this feud up to a very personal level. It's just what R-Truth needs to get over as a heel.

People like you are the reason why Vince doesn't give two shits about what the internet wrestling fans think. You ask for something new? Your getting it. Is Truth super over with the crowd? I think Truth is going to win at the PPV but through a countout or DQ so Cena keeps the title and Truth can go on talking about how he is getting screwed for not having the belt

For me, R-Truth is the most exciting heel in the company at this very moment. They won't put on the best match but you can bet there'll be a controversial finish. R-Truth will get screwed out of the victory which is odd cause it's normally the face that gets screwed. He's so good on the mic and he's been the thing I've been most looking forward too in the last few weeks on RAW
I do not mind this little Truth push at all. Most of the goods have been covered... and I'm gonna keep it on a positive note myself...

Are you shitting me? There's nothing to not like about what Truth is doing right now. He's getting mega heat! I'd go out on a limb as to say he's one of the top two or three heels right now on Raw, top 5 in the entire company. Not to mention he's a good worker... not great but good. Certainly better than what guys like McIntyre and Swagger have been doing right now. And a feud with Cena is what people want to see. There was recently a topic on the forums about just that, and it looks like that's what we're going to get... given that he apologizes of course. I do think he'll get it though due to the huge black community in DC. He's a proven veteran and a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Who better than Truth? And maybe they'll make each and every one of us go "WTF?" with a Truth win at the PPV. Who knows? The sky's the limit for his character right now though.
Did anyone notice the couple of guys that can't stand Truth didn't even have an argument why they didn't like him but just said I don't like truth. Guys it's a wrestling show you know "get over or get lost" so why hate on truth just because your favorite star isn't getting pushed because it isn't his fault or maybe he is the reason your favorite star is sitting on the bench. People are acting like the wwe is wasting our time with truth but he's hitting home runs so why take him out the game. Me personally I have my favorites and dislikes but I don't get mad just because someone I don't care for gets over. Getting over would earn my respect and believe in them as a top star other than good looks but cant cut a promo to save their life. Man if truth some how over came the stacked odds and won the title I guarantee people would crown him as the worst champion ever. I'm proud of truth because even he surprised me of how good he was on the mic and ADAPTING to the live audience which is a strong point.

Truth tried the main event scene last year as a face, but it didn't work out too well for him because there was too many faces that were better than him.. Now he is a heel and he is actually a good heel, he's doing everything in the right way.. We all know on some level, Truth is not going to take the WWE title from Cena, but it should be a good match, Truth IMO has better in-ring skills than Cena..
It's alsogood seeing Cena take ona new opponent, not just any heel, but a recently turned fan favourite to heel..

I totally agree with you. There's too many people out here worrying and complaining about who they think should get a push, like Morrison, Christian, Daniel Bryan, Zack Ryder, yada yada yada, that they can't pay enough attention to what's going on in front of them to realize that Truth is giving us promo gold right now. All of his promo's, from the heel turn, to the splash in the face, has been great. It's about time someone gets an opportunity and runs all the way down the field with it.
You have to enjoy this moment, even if you "know" Cena's going to win, because Truth is hitting all of his promo's like a superstar. Better than anybody in recent memory not named Cody Rhodes or CM Punk, imo.
I can guarantee you that if someone other than Truth, like JoMo, cut the exact same promos the exact same way, all of the Truth hater's would be crying about him being the best thing to ever hold a WWE mic.

I think what Truth has done to reinvent himself is genius but at the same time a double edged sword. Its a great turn for his career as he has never really played up to being a heel and i agree that he has skyrocketed to being one of the top heels on RAW, but the question is after this potential title match with Cena and building a feud up at least until JoMo comes back or Del Rio gets his shot, what's left for Truth? I mean do you think stayin heel should be his angle for the rest of his career? (honest question anyone feel free to answer) because now that hes denounced all of the rapping and dancing its not like he can ever really go back to that if WWE ever wanted to turn him back face, but thats neither here nor there. I agree with someone who earlier said he's a vet and a former NWA champ, I honestly enjoy watching Truth compete in the ring, but it was always his face promos that kept him in that midcard box. Now that he's broke out as a top heel he's been getting as much heat as Cole. Classic Cena Title situation tells me that Truth is probably not gonna win the title @ CP but hey you never know nowadays with WWE writers and the way Vince has been acting lately. But this is a NEW and FRESH feud that is actually keeping the show from being stale and you have to admit the "lil jimmy" portion of his promo cuts are hilarious now haha
