Coming from the McIntyre mark...

i know right? haha I mean there a few ppl I dont like who wrestle but its mainly because of their poor in ring skills or lack of promo skills on the mic, but never just because i dont want to see them on tv or wtv. things is, if you dont like a wrestler its probably because they are DOING THEIR JOB and playing out their character! For a while i couldnt STAND Jericho! all because he DID HIS JOB and played up to being heel, but at the end of the day he's a great in ring performer and entertainer! No you dont HAVE to respect what Truth is doing but there's no denying in giving credit where credit is due. Especially for a guy who's been struggling with the company to get over. and with guys like HHH, Batista, HBK & Taker basically gone we have to look to all these new guys and talent to take the reigns and help build the company by gettin themselves over.

And i don't...
The guy is very good i respect that, you all love him and WWE is doing fine with him...
But it's a click i had, nothing personal... I just hate to see him on TV!!
So Can I like him or deslike him the fucking way i want?

Sorry, but believe me WWE doesn't care about what I think ;)
Be happy jerking off to Truth -.-

HAHA You almost sound like a racist. You have no reason not to like the man unless he killed someone from your family or robbed you. Im black and i didn't like him because i didn't like his character. But i like him now because he's just GOLD.

Hahah. This is all very funny. But I think we can all agree on one thing: like him, or don't like him, R-Truth has been on a roll since turning heel. And this new character matches up perfectly to Cena's.

I've been hearing people chatter about who deserves the push; Whether that be Ryder, McIntyre, Ziggler, Kofi, Morrison, it doesn't matter. The fact is that R-Truth has it now and he's at least trying to make the most of it.

I've also heard people talk about how the heat Truth is getting is not "legitimate" heat... I mean, Mark Madden. Maybe most of the heat is stemming from the fact that he portrays a bitter black man who has gone off the deep end... so what? Heat is heat, and when it comes to drawing the heat, nobody has been better the last couple weeks than The Truth.

R-Truth has been playing his character with perfection. Listen to the crowd reaction he has been receiving. Like it or not hes been using the crowd to his advantage and showing when let loose he has a special talent. Take JBL, he one day was a mid card/tag team, overnight he was practically main eventing. I find myself watching when hes on TV. With his character before I would fast foward.

Not particularily you, but in general, "I told you so." I knew Truth would be a great heel. I've been claiming that "truth" on all of these forums, and at times, I got ridiculed off my ass, but hey, it's all good. The only thing I don't like is Truth portraying mental issues. Why can't he just be a hard core street thug. Randy already hears voices in his head; well, at least Randy doesn't respond to them, lol. But I'm loving Truth. Drop the mental act, get him some swag, some fresh attire, and the WWE championship--then he's in the game. And remember...

Cena's going to "Get got!":worship:

Mmm am i the only one who can see this feud ending up in a Fans (Cenanation) revenge match, like they have done in TNA. Other then that good to see WWE is going back to the face feuds with a different heel every 3 months or so

R-Truth is playing the whack-job quite well. I mean, we all know he won't win, not a chance in hell, but it's different from seeing The Miz vs. John Cena for the eight time in two years.

What, because they have a three month feud suddenly it's been over done? With your logic, Raw PPV's would need a new feud/varying contestents in a title match every month. That'd surely keep things fresh and allow for never been done title matches.

This has been a good feud so far, I'm really impressed with R-Truth as heel. He plays his role so damn well and his promos are much better than before. He cracks me up when he calls the kid "Lil Jimmy's" ROFLMAO! He's impressed me so much that I'm on the R-Truth bandwagon now and I'm hoping he can win the WWE or World Title one day but I don't actually see it happening. I see John Morrison returning at the PPV and costing Truth the match to continue their feud. But whatever happens with Truth at Capitol Punishment, hopefully they keep him as heel for a very long time and continue his push cause like Jericho said on his Twitter, he's the next best star in the WWE with the way he's playing his role.

It would be crazy if the "conspiracy" was proven to be true. like lets say r truth gets a clean pin but the gm restarts the match or just strips him...hmm and people have been thinkin of a way to turn cena heel....

I think it would throw everyone off, especially the IWC, if the WWE puts the belt on Truth at Capital Punishment. No expects it to happen, so why not do it. R-Truth could become the top heel on Raw with the way he is doing things. If not the top heel, definitely number 2 (CM Punk as #1 heel). I like what the WWE is doing with Truth. It's about time he started to stand out and not because of "WHAT'S UP" and "TIME TO GET CRUNK".

Who deserves a shot at the title over Truth? Maybe Del Rio, and Punk but Punk hasnt won a ppv match in like a year, and Del Rio will have plenty of opportunities. R-Truth is 39 years old and hes taken the ball and is running with it. Definetly love it and i do think he should win.

The way this should play out is that Truth and Cena should continue this feud through Summer Slam. The Rock should return at Summer Slam and interfere in some way, not directly helping R-Truth but costing Cena the match and the belt.

Let Truth keep it for a PPV maybe 2 then you either have Cena win it back or you have someone else beat Truth and start focusing totally on Cena-Rock.

Truth's heel character is actually really good and this is a big opportunity for WWE, I think.

This match kinda surprised me. Even looking at R-Truth back in his days of K-Kwik I would have never thought I would see him in a main event for the title.

But having seen R-Truth develop into his somewhat crazy, wacky and but aggressive character I really don't mind it too much, big reason cause it's refreshing to see someone new in the title hunt other than the Miz and Cena feud that has been going back and forth.

Now as far as the match goes, R-Truth will probably lose, I really don't see him winning or Cena losing to him for that matter, unless there is some sort of interference of some sort. Still hopefully this will turn out to be a decent match-up.

R-Truth is one of the best heel's in the business today, his insane gimmick is great. He play's his new character very, very well. His facial expression's have been funny to look at seing as though he look's like a damn lunatic, and how he's talking to himself is also funny to watch.

I think R-Truth vs. John Cena will be a good match. Even though I'm a big Cena fan, I would love to R-Truth win this match and become WWE Champion, even if he keep's it until the next PPV, or the next night. I'll mark out like crazy if R-Turth won the WWE Champonship.

It's a refreshing main event. Cena has been finally thrown against some new names with Miz and now Truth.

Truth has been doing a great job as a heel, but I don't see him as a lunatic guy, not at the level everybody is saying anyway. The whole thing with "lil' Jimmy" has been pure gold.

Anyway onto the match: I don't see it as potential classic or match of the year, but it could be very solid. Cenas has been putting very solids matches, not great but solid. There's no way Truth will win here, the way I see it the "conspiracy" will continue because somehow Truth will cheat Cena. But then Morrison will come out and "screw" Truth's victory and therefore activating again their respective feud.

It will be a fresh main event, but nothing spectacular.

I don't think this Sunday will be the end of the feud...I think this feud is something new and different, and until Morrison returns for real, there's not a good spot to put R truth right now except to keep him in a feud with Cena. In order to keep the feud going, I think it will end with circumstances that allow R-truth to win but not have the title change hands. Since we already saw RTruth win via a countout, and it wouldn't really make sense for there to be outside interference and involve a third party in this feud, then maybe what we'll do is see R truth plan to use the belt as a weapon when the ref is distracted, Cena takes it from him and uses it instead and gets caught by the ref and disqualified.

Or to further the conspiracy theory, Truth uses the belt, ref declares R truth the winner, then the belt is found and decision is reversed, similar to what happened with the miz and cena.

After John Cena ended his fued with The Miz everyone was thinking "Who will challenge Cena next for the Title?". R-Truth was heading into a fued with John Morrison. If Morrison wasn't injured would R-Truth be challenging Cena at Capitol Punishment? I Don't think so. R-Truth and Morrisons fued would start at Over The Limit and end at Money in The Bank. Thats what I Think. But R-Truth was pushed to the top after Morrison was put on the shelf. So far his new "Truth" Gimmick isn't really top notch. WWE is clearly pushing this B.A.S Campaign which is great and over the past few weeks R-Truth has been some what of a Bully towards the fans and even Cena. Its a great way to express what happens at Schools and at home. Its very obvious that if your a lifelong Wrestling fan, The Bully will get what ius coming to him in the form of a beat down at Capitol Punishment. Last Night on RAW R-Truth got the last laugh with Cena which clearly means Cena will win one way or the other. I've learned over the past few years that whoever gets the last laugh before a pay per view will clearly lose at the event. Hopefully it will be a fued we will see cumulate at Summerslam or even if it does end after Capitol Punishment then reignite it in a few months. It would be good if R-Truth wins Money In The Bank and cashes in on Cena during his match against possibly CM Punk. Thats what i think anyway.

Until last night's Raw, WWE had done nothing to present R-Truth as a threat to Cena's title whatsoever. All of that changed last night when Truth showed an unhinged violent side, as well as a devious cunning. His attacks on Hornswoggle and Morrison brought a more aggressive side to his heel character, and he showed the ability to get inside Cena's head by costing him the main event match with CM Punk. He did so by doing something no heel has done before with Cena-messing with his fan base.

I could see a scenario play out where Truth antagonizes a young fan in the crowd, Cena goes to check on him, and Truth hits a big move on Cena, dragging him back to the ring for a long two count. But I think the whole purpose of the turn and what they've done with Truth has been to get the heel character over, but not to put the WWE Championship on him. Truth's in his second run with WWE and has done nothing to show he justifies being the champion on the "flagship show", so while I see them teasing a victory for Truth with a scenario like I mentioned, Cena will win this match and go on to feud with CM Punk.

LSN's prediction:
John Cena retains the WWE Title following an FU and forces Truth to submit to the STF.

The thing that has drawn me to Truth's character has been his unpredictability. He often shows up in the crowd rambling incoherently, he often attacks superstars from there and he even attacks his opponents before his matches. Cena can ideally be attacked at any place and at any time by R-Truth. I'm not sure if WWE will build on thiss but I would like to see this happen. I would like to see Cena on his toes anticipating an attack from R-Truth. Or maybe you can have Truth seated in the crowd and suddenly jumping on Cena during his entrance. There are a lot of ways in which I can see this playing out.

Another person whom I would like to see get involved in the action would John Morrison. Truth performed a vicious attack on Morrison on the go-home show to Capitol Punishment and I would like to see Morrison try to get even. Maybe it could happen as Truth tries to flee from the ring when Cena makes his comeback in the match and John Morrison stops him from doing so. It would also set up Truth's feud with a returning Morrison.

Either way Cena is not losing the title to Truth. Truth might get a title victory but it will only happen at a much later point. His character isn't that strong to credibly convince me that he deserves to hold a world title at this point. Cena will probably go on to feud with either Punk or Del Rio after this while Truth gets busy with Morrison.

As much as I would love to see Truth take this match, it's too early in the feud so Cena will probably retain. Truth could possibly get a win over Cena later in the feud like at MITB maybe. But for now Cena will retain. The little jimmies can sleep soundly now knowing this.

At first, I wasn't too crazy about Truth's heel turn, but he has been terrific as the bad guy so far. Truth's heel character makes you feel uncomfortable at times. He's in your face, he's rude, and he does push the envelope. Also, Truth does a great job at showing some real rage, because there are times where I think he's a legit Psycho.

Still, I think Cena will take this one. I know there have been reports of Cena working through some nagging injuries, but I just can't see Truth capturing the title yet. It would be too soon, and I don't think Cena is going to drop the belt just yet. He's having a very good reign as WWE Champion so far, and there really is no reason to derail his momentum swing now. Truth could win the gold in the future, but it won't happen on Sunday.

The more I think about it, I can't see Truth winning this. After all, his gimmick centers around a conspiracy against him. Winning the title would take that away.

I also think WWE's plan for Cena is to have him hold the belt for about half the year, then lose it and have to chase to regain it in time for Wrestlemania. There's a shocker title loss coming in 2011, but it's way, way too early.

I don't think they'll consider a title run for Truth until the conspiracy angle gets tiresome. (And probably a good while after that point.)

I am actually looking forward to this match. R-Truth is definitely a breath of fresh air with today’s heavily over done cocky heel types. I absolutely love the new R-Truth and he alone is making me interested in the RAW main event again. But does anyone actually seeing Truth walking away with Cena’s WWE Championship? I know I don’t. The dude is good but not that good. Truth losing would give him a right to complain and force him to keep using this ‘conspiracy theorist’ gimmick that we have all learned to love. Cena wins this no doubt. But with that said, with Alberto busy with Big Show and Miz flirting around with Alex Riley, just who will face John Cena in the next few pay-per-views? Truth again? I wouldn't mind...

Hamler's Prediction – John Cena

I have low expectations for this match. There is no way in which I see Truth winning here, so hopefully I expect it to be at least a good match. I think if Truth can pull of some spots as well as get the crowd into the match it will be fine. However, if this turns into a slugfest then I will be bored. I'm thinking that R-Truth could get squashed in this match which would not be good for him, so hopefully WWE fixes my fears. Now if they end up putting the belt on Truth then I think we're screwed for Summerslam.

R-Truth should win this match. Why, you ask? Because it makes sense from both the business perspective as well as the fans perspective. The data show that an unexpected occurrence (such as R-Truth winning the title) combined with an unpredictable few weeks of television have a tendency to spike ratings. Take a look at some ratings data from the last few years. In 2010, from April 5 (the second Raw after WrestleMania, to remove the influence of WrestleMania over the ratings) to June 7 (the debut of the Nexus), ratings averaged 3.14. From the first Raw after the Nexus' debut to August 16, the first Raw after SummerSlam 2010 (the end of the first major phase of the Nexus), the ratings averaged 3.37. The conclusion here is that an exciting, unexpected, and unpredictable angle headlining Raw spiked the ratings consistently by about .23, which is a fairly significant number. Now, R-Truth winning the world title is something I consider to be a radical change on par with the Nexus debuting. Nobody expects it to happen - everyone expects a cut and dry Cena victory. Giving R-Truth the title for the next two months until SummerSlam would create two exciting and unpredictable months of television, akin to what we saw last year with the Nexus, and would be likely (at least, more likely than just another typical Cena reign) to produce a ratings spike. It should be obvious why R-Truth as champion is good for the fans - instead of just another Cena title reign which, while not bad, we've all seen before, we see two months of exciting television with R-Truth as champion. I, personally, am really going to hold out hope for R-Truth winning the title here, unlikely though it may be. It would be a great move for the fans and for the WWE, and I only wish they realized that.
