When I look at the cards, 2009 had less matches because of the Iron Man match, but was still a good ppv and I enjoyed watching it live. 2010, I didn't watch it live, but I did watch it the next day and I have to say there was just a little disappointment but other than that it was a good ppv..
My choice would have to be... wow.. I really can't decide!! I'm giving the edge to 2009!!!... but 2010 not far behind.. It maybe because I watched it live, and because it was the first.. I guess I just really enjoyed the build up to the 14-man tag match because at the time it was all about DX and Jeri-Show and I just loved their work at the time.. Also the Iron Man match should get a mention, am not going to lie, but I fell asleep after a few minutes when I was watching it live!! but because it was 3am!! but I did watch it all later and those 2 showed us everything they got.. 2010 wasn't all that for me, the WWE championship match wasn't all that and the buried alive match IMO was a let down!! Sooo 2009 takes my vote!!
-------------------------------------------------
What I did enjoy about 2010!!
  • Daniel Bryan vs Dolph Ziggler
  • 14-man Interpromotional Elimination Tag Team match - because it was an elimination match unlike the previous years
-------------------------------------------------
Soo, What do you say?? 09' or 10'??

See... personally I dislike the Bragging Rights PPV in general because the idea of bragging rights between the RAW and SmackDown brands were always settled in elimination style TRADITIONAL Survivor Series tag team matches. Bragging Rights occurs right before Survivor Series as well which is annoying. I don't care for a trophy and all that mumbo jumbo jargon nonsense and a 7 on 7 style match is a little bit much to follow in my opinion. The idea never made me happy in the first place.

The few things that both Bragging Rights shared in common that I did enjoy was the Interpromotional Champion vs Champion match between the United States and Intercontinental Champions. In 2009, the United States Champion, the Miz, defeated Intercontinental Champion, John Morrison. The following year, US Champion, Daniel Bryan defeated IC Champion, Dolph Ziggler. I like that the up and coming superstars were pit against each other, and looking at their careers a year later, they have truly come a long way. I predict the same will be seen with Dolph Ziggler and Daniel Bryan towards the end of 2011.

I also liked the fact that SmackDown defeated RAW both years... cuz SmackDown is the underdog and it is the more "wrestling" show... and deserves bragging rights because RAW will always find a way to overshadow SmackDown as the flagship show of the WWE.

The Ironman match in 2009 was great and made the PPV solid... but I still don't like the PPV theme and idea in general.

This is actually a close call. Neither of these pay per views were too good, and I thought Bragging Rights 2010 was one of the worst pay per views in 2010. But I guess I would have to give the very slight edge to Bragging Rights 2009.

I really enjoyed the Cena VS Orton Iron Match. I thought it was a good match. This match was pretty entertaining, and the booking here was pretty smart, because this match wasn't just a flurry of pinfalls and submissions that went back and forth for sixty minutes. They mixed it up by throwing in some tricks(Orton trying kill Cena with the pyro) and dirty tactics(the Legacy interference). I also think the high score(6-5) helped keep the audience entertained. Batista's heel turn was another highlight of this pay per view. He destroyed his best friend Rey Mysterio, and he did it in such a cold and viscous way. Hearing Batista say, "Rey, I'm going to rip your head off," was just classic. This had to be one the of the best heel turn moments I've ever seen. Also, Miz VS Morrison was pretty solid.

Bragging Rights 2010 was just fucking awful. The only thing worth remembering from this pay per view was Ziggler VS Bryan. It was a great match, but everything went down hill after that. The rest of the matches were so underwhelming and sub par. DiBiase VS Goldust wasn't bad, but why was it on a pay per view? This is something that could've taken place on Raw. The Kane/Taker Buried Alive Match was terrible. They just brawled to the grave, and then Nexus struck. Orton VS Barrett was a weak main event. It was very disappointing for a main event World Title match, and everyone was more focused on what Cena would do.

I agree. Neither was very memorable, especially with the gimmick PPV being a bit :wtf: lately. However, the Nexus factor was about the only thing that saved Bragging Rights 2010 for me. I do think Daniel Bryan was a great match to have in that show, and the whole build up with Nexus/Cena/Orton was one that had been brewing for a good while, and I for one, was quite hooked and wanted to see what would become of that. Even though it is one of the lamest PPVs in the year, but, WWE did spice it up with the Nexus, so I give them a better rating on this than 2009. So my vote is for 2010!! Keep it up WWE, and hopefully you can only go up each year!!

both kinda sucked they should have added nexus to that match and let them win to really make it seem like a takeover cause the whole nexus vs cena story line sucks they should have made cena a real member and turned him heel and made him the leader insted of cm punk cause the last group he lead ended very quickly he is not the leader type but both 2009 and 2010 bragging rights ppv sucked maybe if they would go back to how they used to be and drop that lame PG rating it would have been better
