Wrestling Opinions You Don't Have the Guts to Post

Steve Austin never entertained me. He sounds like a ****** and was very bland in the ring. When he was a regular performer, unless he was working with The Rock, I changed the channel during his segments.

Owen Hart's wrestling career is extremely overrated by wrestling fans because he died.

Bret Hart is the worst there is the worst there ever was, and the worst there ever was, and the worst there ever will be.

Chris Benoit was a less talented Lance Storm. Also, he murdered his family because he was a fucking asshole, not because of roid rage or concussions or any other bullshit reason fans try to give.

If you find AJ Lee hot, you're probably a pedophile.

I find Wade Barrett to be extremely boring (and I'm British). Cena carried the Nexus feud and he hasn't done anything of note since. Bad News Barrett was funny only because they were five minute sketches.

Sorry I like to see women not looking like Willam Belli

Big Show is more entertaining than three quarters of the current day roster, on the mic, and in the ring.

Miz could one day be WWE Champion again.

I find Finn Balor very bland and generic.

Nikki Bella is the best Diva on the roster by far in my opinion.

CM Punk is the worst thing WWE had.

Chris Benoit shouldn't be inducted to Hall of Fame.

John Cena is the greatest wrestler of all time.

WWE's exclusive wrestlers are better than indy ones.

EDIT: Nikki Bella is much hotter than AJ Lee.

I'll give you on the mic. I never realy listened to his promos in NJPW and his NXT ones have been eh. But his ring presence and persona (bodypaint etc) are far from generic. He's bringing back persona not defined by mic skills in my opinion.

Can you elaborate because you kind of sound like 'that guy' currently.

CM Punk is the worst thing WWE had despite his being an awesome wrestler.

John Cena is the best wrestler of all time, because he is.

Chris Benoit shouldn't be inducted into Hall of Fame until it is proven that he wasn't convict.

WWE Wrestlers are better than Indy wrestlers because, they aren't in WWE.

Who is ¡®¡®that guy¡¯¡¯, though?

See, I'm not completely blown away with his ring work either, and obviously that's completely opinion based. I just feel as if there are others who can work just a good a match as Balor and I find his presence and finisher very meh. Even the body paint kind of feels... off on Balor. He doesn't seem like a character that would tap into a "demon", he's too damn nice!

I meant that guy who always says stuff that is generally different from the norm/trying to score unconventional points. It's more because I haven't read many of your posts and haven't really been able to gauge your opinion on stuff

His finisher is a bit plain but it suits him. I think the whole demon thing is a bit reaching. I'd be happier if they called it warpaint and he uses it to pysche himself up but what are you going to do.

I think Women's Wrestling sucks. I don't care for any WWE Diva unless they're attractive, and Lana, Alexis Bliss, and JoJo are the only ladies on the roster I find to be such. Also, Candice LeRae is only woman's wrestler I enjoy watching inside the ring and that's because she's mostly in there with men who know how to properly bump, sell, dish it back, etc. (plus she is also very attractive, lol).

Even though he has given me plenty of reasons to do so, I can't bring myself to dislike Hulk Hogan. I'll always have a soft spot for that guy.

Vince McMahon is one of the luckiest men on Earth, not a genius. If I were to compare him to a film director, it would be a Michael Bay, not a Stanley Kubrick.

Kofi Kingston is one of the best wrestlers on the WWE roster. I'd easily put him in the top 5. I strongly believe his dysfunctional chest has been the only thing holding him back all these years.

Jeff Hardy and Batista are two of the greatest wrestlers ever.

I absolutely hated Stone Cold during his mega run in 98 and 99. It was so predictable just how he was going to come out on top all the time. Case in point you knew The Undertaker or Kane were never going to Tombstone him because of his neck issues. Also, his character was so one dimensional.

I didn't start to like him until after WrestleMania XVII when he turned heel and broadened his character.

Dysfunctional chest??

I'd also echo the "women's wrestling is awful" sentiment.

I respect anyone who gets into that ring to take bumps on what I'm sure feels like concrete, but I dislike women's wrestling for the same reason I dislike watching 110lb "wrestlers" like Amazing Red. There's not enough mass there to make anything look impactful. Every Irish whip into the ropes, every bump, everything just looks like a fight between paper clips. There's no... impact.

Hulk Hogan sucks. He in the 80’s. He sucked when he returned in ’02. His little cup the ear and pose is the single worst thing ever.

The Rock although one of the greatest, has the worst finisher in the peoples elbow.

Kurt Angle is the single all round greatest wrestler ever!

I enjoyed Aces & 8’s

Shawn Michaels is overrated.

Owen and Eddie are overrated because of death.

Triple H Vs Sting and Brock Vs Roman Reigns- Matches of the night!

Shawn Michaels Vs The Undertaker at 25 and 26- Overrated

Personally, I would have no problem whatsoever seeing steroids permissible in professional wrestling. Guys who choose to use them would do so as grown men well aware of all of the obvious risks, and it would be their right to choose to use them if they so desire. Guys who don't use them would have to get themselves over the old fashioned way: in ring skill, mic skills, charisma, etc., The results are pre-determined anyway, so it's not like anyone derives a true advantage from using them. For me, I like seeing larger than life guys, far more so than cruiserweights or other guys who look like I could defeat in a wrestling match.

I can't take any wrestler seriously that looks like someone that I could beat up.

When it comes to wrestling storylines and character development giant holes in logic are fine, it's when there is no logic at all it becomes a problem.

Although I respect how hard wrestlers try these days they will never get over in the long run until they can get a good grasp on psychology and learn how to tell a good story in and out of the ring.

Fancy, fast paced wrestling looks good but most of the time there's no reason to care about it and quite frankly, it makes things look way too fake.

If a wrestler has a Twitter account they should stay in character.

I never again want to see a heel on a WWE commercial where they are doing humanitarian work. The whole "this guy plays a bully but he's really against it" thing doesn't work.

Wrestling promotions need to learn the lesson of less is more. If WWE could slow things down a bit and give things a chance to breathe, they would be much better off.

Wrestlemania 31 sucked balls because it lacked the atmosphere a mania should/needs to have.

Daniel Bryan fans are some of the biggest marks, if not the biggest marks. The fact that they wanted Bryan to be rushed back into the title picture was ridiculous. The fact that they tried to ruin Reigns v Lesnar is infuriating to me. I'm trying to enjoy the product, if you dont enjoy it, turn it off or shut the fuck up

ECW and the Attitude Era in general are two of the worst things to ever happen to professional wrestling.

Crowds chanting "We are awesome!" might be one of the saddest things in the world.

I really don't care about Sting or Samoa Joe in WWE.

The feud between CM Punk and WWE is extremely grey and murky, with a million things we don't know. To take either party's side completely is not only stupid, but it's illogical.

Brock Lesnar was the best WWE champion in years.

I really want Undertaker to just retire. I can't watch his matches because I'm certain that he's going have a heart attack or a stroke in the ring one day.

Michael Cole is actually very good at his job considering the rules that Vince has put in place for his announcers.

While I do think Triple H is an excellent wrestler, and I enjoy his matches very much, I hate him simply because 1) Kane didn't win the World Title in 2002/3, and 2) CM Punk didn't win at Night of Champions 2011. I have no idea how much booking input Triple H had during those times, but I still hate him for it.

Agreed. I think people forget just how flat out awesome Kane used to be. He's certainly lost a step, but if you want someone to teach the young guys how to work a match...there you go.

Kane has usually been a very good gimmick (or at least a bad one that was still over and cool regardless) but has he worked a great match in his life? For the life of me I can't think of ONE. The closest he got to a great match was when he ripped the cell door off.

Veterans don't deserve world title runs and main event pushes because they work hard and are dedicated. Johnny Rodz worked hard and was dedicated too but that doesn't mean he should be heavily pushed because of it.

JYD. Booker T. Bobby Lashley.

They should have worn the major World title at one point in their careers. WWE does get some undeserved hate for not putting the strap on athletes who happen to be black, but I feel those three names could have carried it and it wouldn't have been a problem at all.

my input for this thread:

people who push this view and always have done are dense troglodytes, simple as that

:lmao:

I don't find Ronda Rousey very attractive but she's still awesome and I love watching her fight.

Doesn't matter how old Meryl Streep gets, I'll always watch a film she's in. Julianne Moore and Cate Blanchett are two of my other favorite actresses, and neither are very attractive; they're just insanely fucking talented.

Sia won't even show her face in public she's so ashamed, yet she's my favorite female musician.

Like I said, women's wrestling for the most part just sucks. If I'm forced to watch it I'd just prefer to be able to look at women who are attractive. Boo-hoo.
