I wonder if any of you think that there are wrestlers who used to or still wrestle high on something. I remember RVD being on the cover of high times, and I notice that sometimes in interviews and during his entrance, RVD looks TORE UP! I know there is a drug testing policy in WWE, but I remember sometimes in the real ECW RVD seemed to be wrestling high. Anyone have any comments? We know Shawn Michaels was out of it sometimes back in the day. He even admitts it in his book.

i wouldnt doubt some r stupid enough to do so but i def dnt think and i know they dnt think its a good idea to wrestle wen ur high or or on anythin else for that matter because of the risk involved...esp if ur high ull jus b more slow in the ring and ull look sloppy..there is a bigger risk of injury so y take that risk and ruin ur paycheck?....but no doubt their is probably some dummies in their that might do it
after a MCW show here in Norfolk in the summer of 2000 or 2001 (it was less than a month after a wrestlemania where shane mcmahon used jumped from one ring corner to the other and did RVD's van daminator, i remember because RVD wasnt signed with the WWE yet and we asked him if he was upset about Shane stealing his move...he said good for shane) anyway a friend of mine met rvd before and he remembered him so when we got our pics with RVD we asked him if he wanted to smoke after the show, he said yes with a big smile. we waited soooo lng for him and security even tried to kick us out but RVD's roadie came out and said we were with him (half the peeps with us gave up hope and left before that). we went behind the Boathouse (the building where shows are held) and started rolling some blunts with RVD, Cpl Punishment and GI Ho (god she was fine). while we were out back Gillberg came out and started heading towards his car with with rolling suitcase. RVD called him over but Gill thot he was saying bye so he waved back and kept going. RVD tried again with the same result. then RVD shouted "Gill! 420!" and finally he got it lol and joined us. we asked him if he ever wrestled while stoned and RVD said no way because he wans to put on the best show possible and he cant do that stoned.we believed him. thats why its so easy for me to imagine him and sabu getting pulled over after a show and getting busted for smoking.
so if they have any brians at all i cant believe a wrestler would go out stoned. its too dangerous to their body, their opponents and its not what the fans paid for. wait til after the show.
i have plenty of pics by the way if no on believes me. i also had him call a friend of mine who left because he thot RVD was not coming out, lol that was funny. imagine answering the phone and its RVD!

Awesome story dude! Yeah, i think pro wrestlers are smart enough to realise not to mix there personal life with there jobs (apart from lita and edge), especially when it could end in someone getting hurt. Im still intrigued to know if RVD still smokes the green, with the new drugs policy and all, or if vince allows it due to his character.

First off...you smoked with RVD and Gillberg? Sure, uh huh. Anyway, it's pretty much common knowledge that Jeff Hardy was tore up near the end of his first run with WWE. You couldn't help but notice it. And the Rock was high a couple of times. And, no, I'm didn't smoke with them after a show, I know what peeps look like when they are baked..and these two definitely were...and before you go poppin off about me calling you a liar...provide some proof about your "meeting"

I know it sounds unbelieveable, but it could be true.. When I was like 10, my brothers friend had the same story, just without Gillberg, and RVD was still at ECW and also had pics.. So thats why I believe him..
Now to the topic.. The only people I knew you were doing any type of drugs before there show were The Rock, RVD, Sabu, Jeff Hardy, Brian Pillman, and Kurt Angle.. Thats the only ones that ever did it before there matches from what I know of...
But I do think RVD smokes sometimes before the show.. Some people feel it makes them able to concentrate more.. I think thats the reason Vince is skeptical of putting the title on him, because he allows him to do so..

There was a whole bunch of times actually.. You wouldnt be able to tell because he always wore glasses.. But sometimes before his matches (if you look) when hes walking down the ramp.. You can see his eyes are chinky.. I cant really pin point one specific time, but when I notice it next time during a PPV I have.. Ill tell you..
Same reason he put the title on HBK.. McMaon felt that they can both "draw".. Something he feels RVD cant do for some odd reason.
Angle was messed up all the time on pain killers... Show is on them too, and trust me, pain killers and weed are different, but neither is more dangerous in the ring... they both will affect the wrestlers the same way... btw

another thing, rvd almost fell off the ramp when he was walking backwards which would have been very bad, but he caught himself. simon diamond came out and talked smack to us and we started a 'you suck %$#@' chant which caught on. then when balls mahoney and missy hyatt came out we started a 'balls and tits' chant and that caught on too! lol, there was a ton of other wrestlers at that show including PE, nova, chris chetti, a hot ass manager named Candy, little guido...all of whom were very nice and signed anything we wanted. candy signed my best friends chest and she even mentioned it on her site with a picture, might be there still, i lost the site and havent been there in years tho.

ok maybe 'proof' was the wrong word to use i was just meaning that i do have pics of me and rvd. if i said i have pics of him getting high that wouldnt be too intelligent on rvd's part now would it? anyway i couldnt care less who believes me, i didnt start the string and the story is old i could have told it long ago. someone else started the topic and i joined in.
