Wrestling and Youtube

Youtube is great for wrestling fans. If I really enjoyed a match, I can watch it again, or as my DVR never seems to work when I'm out on some Fridays, I'm able to catch Smackdown on youtube once I get home if it didn't record. Although, I can see how it can be bad for WWE as fans will want to watch Pay Per Views for free, but WWE can tell Youtube to delete the PPV's as they are Copyrighted and expensive. Also it's convienient for me, since I don't have to go to my computer, I can just use my Wii as I'm relaxing at night to watch wrestling from my bed.

I hate to split hairs, but I want to clear up one point.

RAW is not free. Neither is Smackdown! for that matter. I make so little money, I could afford internet or cable TV, and I picked internet. I don't have an extra 40-50 bucks to pay every month for cable TV just to watch RAW. And that is all I would use it for. RAW. So in essence, I would be paying about 10 dollars a showing to watch RAW. Yeah, think about that. 10 dollars per TV taping of RAW. That is not free. I have watched maybe 4 live RAWs this year because I have to go to the in laws to see it, and it comes on late (I know some of you might be night owls, but old people think 9 o clock is bedtime) and during an inconvenient time with NO replays on regular cable. It MUST be taped.

True, you have to pay for cable, but I think you are stretching a bit here. RAW is not $10 a show. You are paying for cable which is $10 a week, but you choose not to watch anything but RAW. If I buy a full steak dinner with two sides for $20 and eat just the steak, it doesn't mean the steak was 20, the meal was.

Pretty much everything NorCal said is right on. If someone has an old match from a UK taping or some small unrealesed show, why not leave it up. Dailymotion, however, has full DVD and PPV's up right after they air or are released. Most PPV are on in their entirety within a few hours or airing. You can't blame WWE for pulling those.
