Does Jericho actually meet the requirements to be in the current list? He was technically IN a match this past Monday, but he never wrestled. He tagged in, tagged out, and walked away. Apart from that he definitely doesn't meet the "within 6 months" stipulation. Does he count?

10. JBL - I have a thing for heels that can make the roof come off an arena simply because they generate that much heat from the fans. JBL is one of the most hated of all time, and he make a lot of other talents look good in his year of dominance.
9. Randy Savage - I hated Hulk Hogan, but never more than when he took the title from Savage. The first really popular guy that could do it all in the ring, including use that top rope.
8. Undertaker - He was always one of the the big guys, but he was rarely ever THE big guy. The most respected presence in wrestling and one of the all-time greats for sure, but isn't it odd that he was almost always used to enhance the rest of the roster? He was never the Hogan-figure that took the spotlight and refused to let go. The guy must have some insane humility.
7. John Cena - His feud with Edge made him one of my favorites. Great promo cutter, intense, and he draws insane reactions for most of his matches.
6. Ric Flair - Wooooo!
5. Eddie Guerrero - The most passion and charisma I have ever seen in a wrestling ring. Simply unique in every way!
4. Chris Jericho - I was always a huge fan, but the 2008 heel turn is why I always wrestle (pun intended) with his placement in my Top 5. He's gone from 5 to 1 so many times I've lost count...
3. Shawn Michaels - He only edges out Jericho here because I just watched Survivor Series 2002.
2. The Rock - Electricity. Plain and simple.
1. Triple H - My all-time favorite heel, and boy do I love my heels. Evolution 4 Life!

I didn't realize that the majority of my all-time favorites are there because of one decade of pro wrestling. Randy Savage and Ric FLair are the obvious exception, and Undertaker has been around, but even his work in the last 10-15 years is why he is on the list. Interesting... It's also interesting that they are all there because of their work in the WWE. Never realized how much of a "mark" I am for WWE late 90's, early 00's wrestling! Go ahead, hate me, but Steve Austin wasn't in my list... Sorry! :shrug:

He does count. Whether he deserves to be on the list of currently active wrestlers because of that is a judgement I'll leave up to you.

Regarding favourites versus greatest - do whichever you feel comfortable doing. The two normally affect each other pretty heavily anyway, and often are just synonyms for one another.
