WrestleMania 25

hi when wwe was in london last year i spoke to a couple of wwe officials in the chelsea soccer club merchandise shop and they said they were toying with the idea of having wm25 in the uk . i doubt it but it would be brilliant the tickets would go so fast. when they come here the tickets are soooooo expensive,. if not wembley they could have it at the millenium stadium in cardiff wales it holds 73000 for soccer/rugby so add a few more ont he pitch . hasnt wembley got a roof which can close? it holds 90000 for soccer so would be a huge attendance

no need for rudeness just saying what i heard . it would be nice to have it here in uk but the weather would be a big concern

Why would they hold WM 25 In the UK? They could get just as many people to attend if they had No Mercy or another B show. People used to go crazy for Insurrextion and Rebellion. There would be fucking anarchy if a proper PPV made it's way here.

It's not that farfetched an idea. There have been talks of hosting a Wrestlemania in Mexico City, which would be the second country to host a Wrestlemania after Canada. Anywhere in the UK (particularly England) would be the next logical step if not Japan. Every year at Wrestlemania here in the US, European fans flock here for the event, so it would make sense for WWE to take WM to their loyal UK fans at least once. Considering how many soccer stadiums they have with massive fan capacities, it could very well be a record-setting attendance record. Not saying it's going to be WM25, it's ridiculously obvious it won't. But years from now, who knows?

P.S. Before Trish Stratus won the women's title, she was never an impressive performer in the ring. She honed her skills over the years. There's no telling how much Michelle McCool will improve in the upcoming years.

The WWE is worried about buyrates. Mexico City is still in the same time zones as the rest of the United States, I, would guess they are Mountain Time. So that would be no different then having a pay per vied in Phoenix or Colorado somewhere. It's not going to effect buy rates.

The WWE holding a pay per view in the UK, their biggest pay per view, gives six hours for fanboys to spoil themselves and not buy the pay per view when they find out that Cena wins the title again. It's all about the almighty dollar, and that's why the UK will never get another proper pay per view.

I really dont see what the big deal is. They should just give it lke a 930PM bell time, putting it on in the evening on the east coast, and afternoon in the west. Therefore putting it on at a decent time here, AND out there. I dont think that would really sour buyrates THAT badly, especially since WWE is marketed toward children for the most part.

There is no way that the WWE would ever do that. They would not have there biggest PPV of the year, especially the 25th Wrestlemania, air in the evening and afternoon in the domestic states. Although you could make an argument that the buys wouldn't go down that much, I am pretty sure they would. I mean there is a reason why primetime is at night, that is were the ratings are because everybody is home. Its pretty simple, why would WWE experiment with airing a PPV in the afternoon, especially Wrestlemania, that would never happen. I would expect it to be on US soil, say at Madison Square Garden, because it is an historic arena and Wrestlemania 25 is an historical event.

Somebody correct if i am wrong about this.

Mania is held at MSG every five years? So surely WM is going "home".
