Would anyone be interested in a Diva's Cage match?

Actually, I think a Diva's Steel Cage match would be really good and entertaining. But, I wouldn't want it to be wasted on any divas. I would prefer it to be the final match of two divas that have been fueding for months and months and months. Last year at the Extreme Rules ppv, WWE could have booked a ''Steel Cage match'' between Beth Phoenix and Melina, instead of an ''I Quit'' match, but they didn't. I don't find any steel cage divas match necessary now, but I wouldn't be opposed of seeing one.

did anyone see the match between gail kim and jackie in the six sides of steel in tna's lockdown a couple of years ago? that is the only way it would work. if you have 2 competent female "wrestlers" it could work. If you leave it to melina, mickie, gail, beth or mccool, i think it could be good. anyone else it would be a disaster.

The title basically says it all, but in any case, as I watched Raw tonight, I sat staring half blankly at the Diva's tag match and it made me think...

For the last THREE WEEKS, there has been a Diva's tag match on Raw and I, quite frankly, have grown tired of seeing the same formula over and over. Granted, Diva's matches are seldom at or above par. So, that is when it hit me. I can't remember if they've ever done that sort of thing before, but certainly not recently. I wondered if there had been or ever would be a Diva's Cage match and if anyone thinks that that might be fun to watch, or at least MORE fun than a 6 Diva tag match that contains a lot of super sloppy mat work.

So, I now leave the floor to all of you. Would you like to see it? Would it improve the quality, entertainment wise, of the match?

Please step away from whether you think it would ever actually happen as part of your reasoning, however, feel free to toss in whether you DO think it would ever happen.

First of all, the tag matches are the only way to get adequate time for more than 2 divas at once. It's either this or bury all but 2 in the division, and then we'll hear bitching about the lack of focus on Women's wrestling.

Secondly, a cage match wouldn't be utilized to any sort of extent. It'd just be there, and there might be one bump against it the entire match. Women already rarely bladed before Vince put the kibash on blading, they're not going to start getting slammed up against the cage.

So I argue no for the cage match, simply because it would be a regular Diva's singles/tag/mutli-tag/Battle Royal match with a cage surrounding it. It'll just be metal in the way of me seeing Gail Kim.

Eh... yeah no thank you, I would not be interested in watching a travesty of a match, thought it might have a certain feel about it, that feeling being, it'll be so bad, you have to watch, kind of like a terrible car wreck, you don't wanna see the blood and guts, but yet you just can't quite turn your eyes away from the scene.

Diva's inside of a cage is not where they belong. Nothing against them, there are some great female wrestler's, but I just honestly believe that no matter how good they are, for some reason they just won't be able to get it done in a cage. It would seem out of place, not right. That and there is a extremely higher likely hood of them getting injured in a cage, than the men.

So no I wouldn't be interested.

I really wouldn’t want to see another cage match. If there’s a cage match for the divas what does it add to the match? The answer would be nothing. The cage would just be there for the sake of having a cage there. The diva matches would still be the same thing. Having a cage wouldn’t make a divas match any better, it’s not like Vince would have them go to the top of the cage and jump off of it with some fancy move. Having a divas cage match would be pointless because it would be the same thing as their regular matches, just with a cage added to the equation. The only good it could do is the fact that we people would think they are getting something new, when in reality they aren’t because the matches would be exactly the same. We aren’t going to see no diva throw another diva into the cage multiple times until they start bleeding and if that was the case I wouldn’t want to see it. It’s just pointless to have a divas cage match because it wouldn’t be any different than their regular matches.

I wouldn't care, they can hardly put together a normal match, let alone have a good fued. Look how easy they get injured too, and if it wasn't done with the better divas they would probably kill someone.

Nah, it wouldn't be that good.

Sure, it might add some extra hype leading up to the match but the match itself would be pretty boring and uneccasary. As ST said, the cage would just get in the way and would hardly be used.

Possibly a Gail Kim match against Mickie James could be ok but in all honesty it still wouldn't be neccasary.

I would prefer just a well worked feud resulting in a No DQ match or something. That would be much more entertaining to me.
