There are big uproars over it. I think there have been two in ten years.

I remember uproars over Danish soccer once, FCK vs Brøndby I.F always gets uproars, the two "top clubs" of Denmark, it's like the Danish version of Real Madrid vs Barcelona.

Usually the Brøndby fans are the ones getting arrested although.

I used to be a Brøndby fan, I absolutely loved the time we kicked FCK's ass 5-1.

I've seen worse goals Sam, a Danish goalkeeper that literally just looked at the ball as it rolled through his legs, it wasn't some power house kick, it literally rolled between his legs, only for him to then turn around and jump for it, when it was too late.

It's less about the ties and more about not being the best at it and hence not caring because we may have to suffer the indignity of seeing lesser nations get lucky victories out of us. And that it represents socialism.

At least, these are the reasons conservative bloggers here are giving as to why the World Cup sucks. All it did was drive me to care this year!

Hmmmmmmmmm an alright performance by England. Dominated the game but only scored one goal....and it cost us due to a stupid mistake. What was he thinking, Americans didn't really do much Altidores shot was there only real chance. Fair play to them though. Still think its England and Slovenias group however

What game were you watching??? There great counters involved shooting from 20+ yards usually over or straight at the keeper.

Sad thing is ITV's coverage was sooooo biased it was difficult to watch. USA looked better for periods of the first half. England should have done better but I really don't care.

It's not a tie though. It's league-style game; it just means America has one goal.

So if USA won 2-1, and then lost 5-0, people would be like OKAY THEIR RECORD IS 1 AND 1 RITE?!!1?!
