WM 31, the card of the decade? Book it.

Hakushi

Kensuke "Jinsei" Shinzaki
I say WM31 already looks better than almost any PPV this year has. I think by the time next March greets us, we will be looking back and wondering how this is the same PPV. Although WWE has made strides that last few weeks for projected Mania content, I feel like they completely neglected the 30th Anniversary of the very thiing that helped make Vince.
With the young crop of wrestlers, alot of whom have wowed in the ring and killed it on the stick, I honestly think they would have to thoroughly try to screw this up next year. We should see Bray, Cessaro, Ambrose, Reigns, Rollins taking up a number of matches on the card. Also, if you follow NXT, there are a number of good looking talents who very well could be brought up after SummerSlam (Graves, The Ascension and Sami Zayn to name a few). Add to that the Obligatory Triple H and Taker appearances and the potential for a Rock/Y2J, Sting, Punk, Angle or Austin bout, WM 31 is almost fool proof..................Almost. Lets see those storylines. Take any wrestler you like and give a 12 month booking on him!

The Shield disband mutually without a blow off match all year. Roman Reigns wins the WWE WHC at some point, Seth Rollins wins MITB and Dean Ambrose somehow manages to win the Royal Rumble. Ambrose vs Reigns is set and Rollins decides to use his MITB contract to make it a Triple Threat.

I would rather not see Taker use one of his few remaining matches against Sting personally, with them being 50 and 56 respectively at that point. Randy Orton could bring back his Legend Killer gimmick and face Sting at Mania, while Taker faces off against John Cena.

Bray Wyatt has a lot to say about masks, and Rey Mysterio deserves a big match at Mania in California, especially if he is thinking of retirement soon. Bray would make this match a big deal with mic work alone. A mask removing stipulation could be in place as well, and if Bray loses the Family has to disband. I`d like Bray to go over Cena this year and Rey the next, leading to a match with Taker at Wrestlemania 32. Bray being the man to remove Rey`s mask in the WWE would be a big moment.

Ronda Rousey has expressed interest in working the show if her schedule allows it. Bringing her in with a group of UFC women`s fighters to take on the Divas champion in a Lumberjill match would be one of the best uses of a celebrity in Mania history.

Another possibility that I would really like to come together would be the return of the Cruiserweight Division with a tournament, culminating in the Final match at Wrestlemania. Guys like Zayn, Neville, Sin Cara, Kidd, Gabriel, Tatsu, etc. can be involved. Rey could too and be eliminated due to Bray Wyatt`s interference/distraction. The finals would be Tyson Kidd (as a heel) and Sami Zayn. Because it is an all-Canadian final, bring back a former great Canadian Cruiserweight champion in Chris Jericho as the Special Guest Referee to give it a boost of star power.

Most of the other guys I am missing can be in a midcard feud or inserted in the Andre The Giant Battle Royal. HHH and Batista are two big names I am forgetting, so I would have them and Flair reunite Evolution (Orton could too, but still feud with Sting separately) to take on DX, ie New Age Outlaws with HBK in their corner.

Card:
WWE WHC Title Match
Roman Reigns(c) vs Dean Ambrose (RR) vs Seth Rollins (MITB)

Streak Match
Undertaker vs John Cena

Career Ending Match
Sting vs Randy Orton

WWE Divas Champion vs UFC Women`s Champion - Lumberjill Match
AJ Lee vs Ronda Rousey

Evolution vs D-Generation X
HHH & Batista w/Ric Flair vs New Age Outlaws w/Shawn Michaels

Mask vs Family
Bray Wyatt vs Rey Mysterio

Cruiserweight Championship Tournament Final
Tyson Kidd vs Sami Zayn w/ Chris Jericho as Special Guest Referee

I forgot about Daniel Bryan and Brock Lesnar, who would make a great match themselves. Bryan eliminates Lesnar from the Rumble and an Elimination Chamber match. Lesnar would obviously be furious and look for revenge.

No Holds Barred Match
Daniel Bryan vs Brock Lesnar (w/Paul Heyman)

Andre The Giant Memorial Battle Royal

Pre-Show:
Tag Team Championship Fatal 4 Way
Wyatt Family(c) vs The Ascension vs The Usos vs Rhodes Brothers

(C) Reigns vs (rr) Ambrose vs (mitb) Rollins
I really REALLY like this idea

Undertaker vs sting
I'd rather see takers wrestle in TX as his last ever match against Cena

Career Match
Lesnar vs Batista

Rousey vs Natalya (heel)

Orton vs Jericho vs Cesaro vs Tyson Kidd

Bryan vs angle

Wyatt w/ Family vs HHH w/ HBK & Flair

Battle royal V2.0

WHC:
Roman Reigns (c) vs. John Cena
The reign continues

The Streak:
Buried Alive: Undertaker vs. Bray Wyatt
Is the streak broken? Match ends in a no contest as both men are mysteriously consumed into the depths of hell

The Rock vs. Batista
Rock wins bragging rights

Kurt Angle vs. CM Punk
Instant classic; Kurt doesn't let Punk go over

Steel Cage: HHH vs. Sting
Epic battle conquered by Sting

No DQ: Brock w/Heyman vs. Sheamus
Brock dominates

Tag Titles:
Miz/Ziggler w/Flair (c) vs. The Brotherhood w/Dusty Rhodes
Champs win and force the family to disband

IC Belt:
Dean Ambrose (c) vs. Daniel Bryan
Face Bryan beats heel Ambrose in a fan favorite

Bra And Panties Elimination Match:
Summer Rae vs. Eva Marie vs. Aksana vs. Bellas vs. AJ Lee

Randy Orton wins the Andre Battle Royal
Hogan is the GM

WWE Championship: Daniel Bryan (c) vs CM Punk
Whether or not Daniel Bryan holds the title from 'Mania 30 to 'Mania 31 or not is irrelevant, but he's champion this time next year. I'm a bit of a Punk mark and would just love to see him win the Rumble, than face Bryan in 1 one-on-one match at WrestleMania.

Streak Match: The Undertaker vs Sting
IF, and IF Sting does/has sign with WWE, on the RAW after WrestleMania I'd have Taker end the show but cutting a promo about WrestleMania/The Streak etc., and tease retirement, only to be cut off by dark lights, thunder and storm sort of sounds. The sounds cut and we are shown, lurking in the rafters, a figure in a trench coat with a baseball bat. The figure disappears off screen, and then Sting's music hits and he comes to the ring and lays down the challenge to 'Taker. Honestly, this match itself could sell 'Mania alone. It wouldn't be an in-ring spectacle, but it would be one of the greatest atmospheres ever.

Singles Match: The Rock vs Roman Reigns
Personally, I don't want to see Roman Reigns (or any Shield member for that matter) win the World Title at all this year. There's no need. Once the split happens they need probably another 6 months to a year as singles competitors to find their feet. I think this would be a huge chance to put Reigns over as a singles competitor. Again, personally, I prefer Rollins and Ambrose over Reigns, but the family ties in this match make it a bit of a 'passing of the torch type'

WWE Intercontinental Championship: Seth Rollins (c) vs Cesaro vs Cody Rhodes
3 of my favourite 'light-weight' type guys. Rollins is an incredible aerialist who entertains in every match he's in, Cesaro is flat out one of the best in-ring competitors in the world, and Cody, in my opinion, has one of the best movesets in the company and a great 'Old School' style. Give this match 15 minutes and it would steal the show in my opinion.

Singles Match: John Cena vs Dean Ambrose
Very similar to the Rock/Reigns Match, however with a little less backstory. I think the match would be pretty decent, and tell a great story, and I'd like to see Ambrose go over Cena (wishful thinking)

6-Man Tag Team Match: The Wyatt Family vs Evolution (Randy Orton, Batista, & Triple H)
I didn't really have much for Randy Orton, Batista, or Triple H, and then it clicked. I think this could be a great match/feud, especially if Wyatt feuds with either one of these guys throughout the course of the year.

No Holds Barred Match: Brock Lesnar vs Sheamus
I like Sheamus. I hate his gimmick but enjoy his in-ring work. I wouldn't mind a Lesnar face/tweener run and I believe Sheamus is wayyyy overdue for a heel turn. I think this could be a really entertaining, physical match

WWE United States Championship: Damien Sandow (c) vs Chris Jericho
Personally, I think Sandow deserves better than what he's getting at the moment. Unfortunately, without a second World Title, it's going to be hard to see him win a World Title for a few years at least. I love his gimmick and am a fan of his in-ring work. I think he deserves a US Title push and would love to see him and Jericho have a big feud culminate at 'Mania.

WWE Tag Team Championships: Ladder Match: The Usos (c) vs Awesome Show-Offs vs Tyson Kidd & Justin Gabriel vs Los Matadores
With The Real Americans, Rhodes Brothers and Shield moving out of the Tag Team Title scene, I think this year it's time to give these type of teams a chance to move up and show what they've got. I think this would be an incredibly entertaining match.

Thats nine matches without a Divas match and without using Alberto Del Rio, Christian, Big Show and Kane. So some room to move.

Overall, it's a fair bit of a fantasy card at the top, but I think the rest of the card is quite solid and not too left field. If I knew the WWE were planning to give us a card like this, I'd be booking my flights from Melbourne to San Fransisco very quickly.

@MMA Mark: I love your idea about another belt added, but IMO, it should be the WWE re-creating the Television Title...much like WCW had back in the '90s. Another cruiserweight division attempt is doomed to fail. They should unify the U.S. and I.C. titles into one solid belt, and then make the TV Title be defended on a weekly basis at least once. It could be on RAW, ME or SD...doesn't matter...as long as it's consistently defended. The champion doesn't even have to really be a great speaker; this way, guys like Zack Ryder (with nothing going on in particular) and Adrian Neville (new up and comer needing to polish mic work) will have something to strive for, and the crowds can really get behind them for what they do best. That'd be great for business.

Not knowing who would be on the roster, what teams would be formed or still together, here's a few matches I'd like to see.

WWE World Heavyweight Championship: Christian (C) vs. Dolph Ziggler

The Undertaker vs. Chris Jericho

Triple Threat Match for the Intercontinental Championship: Dean Ambrose (C) vs. Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins

United States Championship: Cody Rhodes (C) vs. Rob Van Dam

Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

Triple H vs. The Big Show

Wrestlemania 31 will most likely surpass Wrestlemania 3's 93,000 attendants so u bet they will try to make it one of the best ever. Here's my opinion on what wwe will see as there best Wrestlemania. Note If the main event is what I think it's gonna be the rock will not be joining, don't think he will settle for anything less than the main event.

Cena vs undertaker -undertakers last match

Daniel Bryan vs cm punk vs Ortion -WWE Title

Lesnar vs Batista

HHH and Vince McMahon vs vs the Wyatt family

Ambrose vs reigns - us and ic Title

And the rest just mid cards

THE WWE TAG TITLES..- They can add ant Two tag teams at that time...

Divas Title--Whatever crap it is...

MAIN EVENT
The Rock (c) vs Roman Reigns
A passing of the torch. A win here would really make Reigns.

John Cena vs Brock Lesnar
No issues with these two having another match.

Undertaker vs Sting
Purely because fans have wanted this one for years.

Daniel Bryan vs Kurt Angle
A wrestling pureists dream match. Looks like Angle will return sometime later this year or early next year.

Triple H vs Batista
A nice story, two friends, great chemistry. Could be brutal.

Wwe title
D.bryan (c)vs roman reigns

Streak vs career
Undertaker vs sting

Cena vs angle
Cody Rhodes vs wade barret for wades MITB brief case
I.c title dean Ambrose (c)vs y2j vs cesaro
Us title ladder match Christian (c) vs Seth Rollins vs Rey vs del rio vs sheamus vs sandow
Bray Wyatt vs the rock
Divas title tamina (c) vs nat hart
Dx hhh,hbk vs evolution Batista,orton
Brock vs cm punk last man standing
Tag titles miz, ziggler (c) vs ascention vs Wyatt's vs usos
Big show vs Kane vs mark Henry cage match
Pre show nxt title fatal 4 way dunno who though

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
Bray Wyatt (c) vs. Roman Reigns

- I think this would be a great match to headline a Wrestlemania. These men are two of the hottest talent in the industry right now and I see very, very bright futures for them both. Wyatt would win the title legit or by the MITB around Survivor Series and Reigns would win the Rumble, and go on to beat Wyatt in the main event at Mania '31.

"Streak vs. Career"
Undertaker vs. Sting

- Everyone wants to see it, and I think if Sting only wants one match in the WWE, then this is the only feasible match for him. The streak will continue and Sting's legacy won't be tarnished one bit, and the Undertaker will live on for one final match at Mania '32 against Cena.

No Holds Barred match
If Triple H loses, he must resign as COO

Triple H w/ Stephanie McMahon vs. CM Punk w/ Shane McMahon

- This match hasn't happened this year for obvious reasons, but if Punk is as smart as he makes out to be, he'll come back for this match at Mania '31. The angle that they can pull from Punk's walk out is perfect material for this match, and with speculation that Shane O'Mac might be returning to the WWE, what better way to regain power from the Authority then by backing Punk. Vince could get tangled up in this feud somehow, but it might make things too complicated...

Submission match
Kurt Angle vs. Daniel Bryan

- A mega dream match. I really hope that Angle returns to the WWE and has one last run before he sails off into the sunset, and a submission against Bryan would be heavenly. Two of the greatest technical wrestlers ever with the potential to steal the show with this match.

Brock Lesnar vs. Batista

- Two men who I believe have never faced off before, going head to head for bragging rights over who is the best, basically.

No. 1 Contenders match for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship
John Cena vs. Sheamus

- Sheamus doesn't get enough credit, mainly because he's had really boring feuds as champion. But he can be a great heel and a match of this magnitude will be great for his legacy.

WWE Intercontinental Championship, Ladder match
Seth Rollins (c) vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Dean Ambrose vs. Cesaro vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton vs. Kofi Kingston vs. Sami Zayn

- Another potential show stealing match, needs to happen for several reasons. Ladder matches have been showcased at Wrestlemania many times and everyone remembers them because they were f***ing awesome. It's about time they brought it back to Wrestlemania, and at the same time they can restore some much needed credibility to the IC Title.

Plus, a tag team championship match and a divas match. I don't think the Andre Battle Royale will continue to be a thing at Wrestlemania. Also, I haven't included The Rock because I don't think he will return to Mania or the WWE next year, and I think there's enough star power without him.

Rather than dream If I had to bet my hard earned money I would go with (upper card matches):

Rock vs Brock (this time they do it, its a money maker match)

Sting vs Undertaker (this match will be set in stone night after mania 30 with sting debut)

HHH vs CM Punk (when punk returns, as we all know he will, he will likely start a feud with the man in charge, goes well storyline wise, use his leaving. kayfabe)

WWE title:
John Cena vs Daniel Bryan(c) (john cena challenges daniel bryan

Surprise entrant Kurt Angle making his return to WWE wins the Royal Rumble and goes on to face the WWE champion

Angle vs Bryan (champ) 60 Minute Iron man match title vs career

Randy Orton Vs HHH (who put his career on the line)

The Rock vs Brock w/ Paul

Roman Reigns(IC Holder) vs RVD

Undertaker vs Sting (who showed up in rafter at end of WM30) Streak vs Career

Andre Battle

We see 3 careers end at WM31 Angle, HHH and Sting

This definitely sounds like an interesting topic, and if they book even a quarter of what us "marks" have booked in our fantasy cards, then it will be the greatest 'Mania of all time. Here's what I would book:

WWE World Heavyweight Championship
'I Quit' Submission match
CM Punk(c) vs. Daniel Bryan vs. Kurt Angle

I know it might be a bit tough to pull off, but I've seen people want DB vs Punk and DB vs. Angle, so why not put all three in one match? The best part is, every one of these guys has an established, painful submission hold. There's really no telling who would come out on top, but I would want CM Punk to get the win and go on to face each of these guys one-on-one in the following PPVs.

WWE Diva's Championship
Natalya(c) vs. Paige

I've heard nothing but good things about Paige, so why not put her up against one of the best in the WWE today?

Wade Barrett and Sheamus (as heels) vs. The Real Americans (as faces)

I know, I know, they're planning on splitting them up and giving Cesaro a singles run, but what if that happened, and then both Swagger and Cesaro get ganged up on by Barrett and Sheamus, who keep going on about America sucks and whatever. (It's been done, but it could still work) Or he could still be doing the Bad News Barrett gimmick, only he says the wrong thing and piss off Swagger, only to have Sheamus come and help him out, and then Cesaro comes and helps Swagger. Then they could book this match.

U.S. and Intercontinental Championship
Unification Match
U.S. Champion Big E vs. Intercontinental Champion Roman Reigns

Let Big E hold the IC title for a few more months, then drop it to Reigns, only to have Reigns refuse to face him again after the obligatory rematch. Big E takes the US title a few months later, then challenges Reigns again, this time putting his own title on the line at Wrestlemania.

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins vs. The Ascension

No real reasoning behind this, just a match I would really like to see.

This is going a bit long, so I'm only adding one more match:

John Cena vs. Sting or Undertaker

Either way, if booked properly, this match could be amazing. I know people want to see Sting vs. Undertaker, but they're both way past their prime, and if we're lucky we could see maybe a 10 minute match. But John Cena? He's the only guy left who has any chance of breaking the streak. He shouldn't, but he's the only guy who people can look at and say "Yeah, maybe he could break it." There HAS to be that doubt. Sting? I respect the guy, but, like Lesnar, and Mark Henry, no matter what they do, you know they won't break it. There's not even that intrigue, that doubt. Just "they won't break it."

So, that's my 2 cents.

The Streak - The Undertaker vs John Cena - I really feel like this is the one match where the streak ending could be a possibility. Have John Cena 'promise' the Cenation that the streak will end. Maybe Cena could use some cheap heelish tactics in the build-up to Mania

WWE World Heavyweight Championship - Dean Ambrose (c) vs Seth Rollins vs Roman Reigns When this match happens I think it should happen on the Grandest Stage Of Them All for the biggest prize in wrestling today. I think Reigns should win the rumble, then have Ambrose will the title in the Elimination Chamber by screwing over Rollins. This way you give the future of the company their first real Wrestlemania moment.

Career Threatening Match - Kurt Angle vs Daniel Bryan - If Angle wants to finish out his career in WWE then this is the way to do it. Have him put his career on the line to face Bryan so he can prove he can still go with the best. This would definitely be a show-stealer and a deserving send-off for Angle.

Battle For Control Of WWE - Triple H w/ Stephanie McMahon vs Cody Rhodes w/ Vince McMahon - I thought we would get a match along these lines at this year's Mania but it wasn't to be. Easy build-up. Vince gets fed up of HHH and Stephanie acting like they own the place. He aligns with Cody who has been held down by The Authority. This would be a great way of elevating Cody Rhodes and putting an end to The Authority storyline.

No Holds Barred - Randy Orton vs Corey Graves - Graves has really impressed me on NXT. He brings the intensity to the ring and I could see him having an excellent, physical rivalry with Orton. The lines of heel & face could be blurred in this feud. Perhaps have Graves claim he is the new 'legend killer'.

Grudge Match - CM Punk vs Bray Wyatt - Simple match. The promos leading up to this would be excellent. Bray and Punk would have great chemistry on the mic and maybe even in the ring too.

Battle Of The Beasts - Brock Lesnar vs Batista - For this match I would have Lesnar play the role of the face and Batista the heel. You could keep Heyman with Lesnar to carry the promotion of the match. The WWE would likely play off their UFC experience or whatever.

US/IC Title Unification - 10 Man Ladder Match - Cesaro (c) vs Evan Bourne (c) vs Rob Van Dam vs Chris Jericho vs Wade Barrett vs Kofi Kingston vs Big Show vs Jack Swagger vs Sheamus vs Ryback - This match in essence is replacing the Money in the Bank. I like the idea of the Andre Battle Royal but I feel this would be more exciting. Plus unifying the titles would be a historic moment and it deserves to happen at Mania.

Pre-Show

Divas Title - Paige (c) vs Charlotte - A match showcasing the future if women's wrestling in WWE. Maybe even have Ric Flair accompany 'the dirtiest diva in the game' to the ring for her first Wrestlemania.

Tag Team Titles - Dolph Ziggler & The Miz (c) vs Christian & Sami Zayn - I feel like the Miz/Ziggler tag team needs to happen. Both guys are too good to be wasted doing nothing. The could be like the Rated RKO of their day. Christian and Zayn could have a sort of mentor/student relationship seeing as both are Canadian and all that. Would be an interesting team that could develop into a great feud.

A lot of people are banking on Angle returning - this is a bad move as Kurt's issues haven't fundamentally changed since WWE released him. He is still as messed up in the head as ever and now older and more banked up. People are also underestimating Jarrett's new promotion and that TNA will still be there and even that Vince will still own the WWE (Disney a coming...I can feel it..)

A realistic assessment of the WWE for 31 could see the card shape up like this.

Reigns v Rock (c) for the WWF Championship The only "lock" is this, if Rocky is going into the HOF then he goes in as champion and hands it over to his cousin. By then the delayed Fast movie will be out so he'll be keen again but the stip will be similar to Flair's last run... the next loss is his last.

Daniel Bryan v Jeff Hardy - TNA folds, Hardy will be back ahead of Kurt who is more likely to head over to Jarrett where he will still be a big fish. Hardy comes in as a heel version of his old character, playing off the fans "replacing him" with Bryan.

Sting vs Undertaker v Bray Wyatt- I can actually see this being a triple threat - as hotly anticipated as the Sting/Taker match is... it won't be "good" because both are somewhat limited now. Wyatt in the mix leads to more tension and a great build with both guys being messed with by the Family and it also adds a strong worker who can sell the beating of both men but still come out with either a win (my choice) or lose to either without losing any momentum.

IC Title - Assuming this Christian angle isn't geared to a Jericho return tonight for the spot at 30 then he goes for and wins the 10th IC title next year but they do it in a MITB style match... with the IC champ once again being #1 contender. He can then face off with Reigns later in the year for a strong boost to his credibility. The other 7 in the match are Bourne, Adam Rose, Seth Rollins, Big E, Cesaro, Shelton Benjamin and Corey Graves.

Bubba Ray vs Triple H - TNA Folds, and Bubba returns to the WWE, same gimmick just his old name. He falls foul of Trips and begins a vicious feud.

Dean Ambrose vs John Cena - Cage match. These two feud post Shield split and Ambrose goes full blown heel... Cena's days of being the top guy are now gone - it;s about him putting some guys over.

Tag Team Titles - Evolution v The Ascension v The new British Bulldogs- I still think Orton will blow his wellness strike before this but if not he and Batista end up teaming/reforming Evolution and dominate the tags post Summerslam - it's good work for Dave as it keeps him featured and allows them to face arguably their "replacements" in the Ascension. I see WWE putting Wade Barrett, Drew McIntyre and Adrian Neville together when he hits the main roster as a new British Bulldogs type team, even if not using that name... Regal could easily be their manager... a version of this team perhaps win the titles allowing Evolution and Ascension to carry on feuding without the gold.

Paige v Trish Status or Lita - Whichever one can still go - Paige will be huge by then and if Punk ends up with Jarrett as I suspect, AJ may well be gone... Paige is clearly the future of the womens division and her defeating either Trish or Lita would lend a massive dose of credibility to that proposition... if you really can't get either then Mickie James will do...

Andre Battle Royal - Assuming they make it annual and attach a suitable prize to it I would see this being Cody's moment to step into the spotlight - it will be Sheamus this year I think... I can see the final two being Cody and Goldust, if their feud hasn't happened by now it's never going to - keep them together and have this be their last hurrah together.

I haven't included a lot of talent - Punk I am sure will end up with Jarrett as it'll be built around him and he can prove it's not about the money. Brock will be back in UFC or preparing for a fight, he could show up and face a Rusev or someone but his value is so damaged now that it's almost a waste of cash. I can see some TNA pick ups when they go, but not many - Bubba, Magnus perhaps and Roode and Hardy are the only ones I really see getting into the E... Jarrett and ROH will swallow up the rest of the roster. Ziggler will be gone, as he;s signed for that Max Landis movie remember... any hope he has will end the day he goes off to film it... Big Show and Kane will likely be retired or nearing that point. Rey will likely be retired sooner than that.
