Will We See The Masked Kane Upon His Return?

I'm not a fan of backwards developments. It was hard enough to explain why the guy beneath the mask wasn't horribly burned all over his body (weird how some of the most ridiculous gimmicks get tolerated by the fans).

I always thought unmaksked Kane was a much better character. Unmasked Kane is a psychopath. I can dig that. Masked Kane was a heavy burn victim, who, despite his life-shattering injuries managed to live a lifestyle of constant traveling and 200+ wrestling matches a year. Yeaaaaaah, not quite as easy to "suspend my disbelief" there.

Kane is at the twilight of his career. If Kane came back with a mask and his rational for it would be that it dehumanizes him and now he's finally a monster again... That's just silly. Besides, we've seen what's under the mask now. You can't even fool the 6 year olds anymore that there's a horribly burned monster underneath.

I don't see it happening. More importantly, I don't WANT to see it happening.

He doesn't have to return as the burn-victim and a complete copy of his previous character. I was inclined towards the suggestions in this thread that he would break down psychologically, and his perception would lead him to want to hide his face. Similar to Cody Rhodes, or a 16 year old girl who thinks she's fat.

I would like to see Kane return with his mask. I do not understand why people feel you could not do this on the basis that we know what he looks like...so what if we do? We knew Mankind was Mick Foley/Cactus Jack. Anything is possible in pro wrestling and that is why I like it so much and not boxing or UFC..because things do not have to always make sense or be logical, aslong as they are entertaining.

Perhaps Kane will return with The Undertaker and Paul Bearer.

All the people who come into these threads to moan about them are far more boring and repeatative than the threads themselves.

I would love to see the mask come back and hopefully it does before he retires. It'll be like he started his career with the mask and he ends it with the mask. Do I see it coming back? I'm not sure, it's been 8 years since he had the mask and I don't think the kids who WWE cater for would understand why he all of a sudden had a mask which means the majority(?) of the fans would care about it. So I can't see them bringing it back.
