Will the WCW pay per view tapes ever be released on dvd?

I wouldn't mind if they released all of the War Games matches, seriously, I loved those matches and wish that WWE would bring it back. It is the main reason I love TNA's Lockdown ppv. As far as if the WWE will ever do it? Eh...like many said, they will probably release best of dvds, but not the actual ppvs. And I've looked on Amazon, some of the VHS tapes are freakin crazy expensive.
And on a side note, for those saying that they would probably edit out Chris Benoit, if you'll notice, he's been creeping back in slowly, like the Best of Nitro DVD they have when Ric Flair made his return and Benoit was there, and I may be wrong, but he even spoke. I might be wrong on that part though. But he was still there and introduced and everything.

If they were released I would buy them. WCW ppvs had some absolutely brilliant matches with some of the best in ring talent. WCW is where guys like Eddy G, Rey Mysterio, Beniot, Jericho, Raven, Saturn, Malenko, Steamboat, Vader, Liger, Pillman, even Austin and Foley were part of a strong mid card that alwys delivered. And although Hogan, Piper, Macho, Sting and Flair dominated the main event and their in ring was demininshing their star power alone was enough to watch the match..

The ppvs usually delivered especially with the awesome cruiserweight action

WWE often overlooks DVD's that would sell very well in my opinion. Should they ever make a dvd on perhaps an anthology of the War Games matches then I feel it would sell quite well. WWE puts out DVD's that often bomb in sales that could have been instead some sort of WCW DVD that would have went through the roof. For example, the Superstar Billy Graham DVD while entertaining had terrible sales. That DVD could have been something else involving WCW that would have made them 10-15 times more money. I feel that WWE is losing out on not doing what was originally planned which was to make a WCW Best of Season 1-2 DVD. There is just so much footage that could have been used.

So for those of you who want wwe to release old wcw shows, you don't care if they will overdub the old ppv themes/wrestler entrances? Some people for some reason are not bothered by that, but I am and I know they would do this. When they show old Sting matches on wwe 24/7 from the late 80s/early 90s they dub over his awesome entrance with a theme he didn't even start using until 93(man called Sting)! That kills it for this old school wcw fan.
