Will Money In The Bank ever be cashed in at Wrestlemania?

Mistakes Were Made
First let me start off by saying that I'm not starting this thread to complain about Orton cashing in on Bryan at Summerslam. I just think it's long overdue for someone to cash in Money in the Bank at WWE's biggest show of the year. As of now, there is still the chance that Sandow cashes in on the World Heavyweight Champion at Wrestlemania but I personally doubt it will happen.

Does it bother you that nobody has cashed in at Wrestlemania?

Do you think Sandow will be the first to do it?

Will anybody ever cash in at Wrestlemania?

I don't believe it matters much that it's not been cashed in at Mania. I mean sure it would be memorable but at the same time I don't think it really matters. I guess eventually it be cool to pay homage to the fact that it originated at Mania but if it never happens I personally wouldn't care that much. It's not something I have really honestly ever thought of.

I highly doubt that Sandow will be the first to do it simply cause I don't think he has a lot of stock in WWE yet and doesn't deserve to be the first to do it.

Will it ever happen at Mania? I think without a doubt. WWE likes to do creative and new things. As you've said it hasn't happened before it will eventually. But it will only be for someone who deserves it.

It doesn't bother me in the slightest. I much prefer them to be cashed in on Raw and, when done at the start of the show, it actually builds intrigue. Also, giving a title change free on TV is a nice change.

It is very difficult to predict if Sandow will cash in at WM30. I think it would be a waste if Sandow was the first person. If it was a "bigger" star cashing in on another big name then it would be a big WM moment. For example, if Orton cashed in on Cena/Bryan at WM it would feel bigger. The ending of Summerslam is something that could be passed of at a Mania because it would have been an incredible shock for a significant amount of fans.

You know it's a shame Mr. Kennedy got injured and had to drop MITB to Edge. Kennedy had announced the day after he won that he would contest for the Title at WrestleMania 25 I believe it was. That would be cool to see not a cash in as many do, but ala RVD/Cena that says I will cash in at Mania but a straight match.

I wouldn't be surprised if we never see it happen.

WWE announcers will say said wrestler can cash in at Wrestlemania to play up the "anything can happen at any time" part of MITB, but that's about it. A lot of time and effort is put into building Wrestlemania storylines, and moments. Wrestlemania is supposed to be the stage for the culmination of major feuds in WWE. Having someone run down the ramp with a briefcase, and cash-in for the title would ruin those moments and storylines. You can get away with that at Summerslam (Orton, Del Rio), or TLC (Bryan, Punk), but not at the Super Bowl of pro wrestling, because a cash-in would undermine everything.

Although, it wouldn't shock me too much, if WWE did it with the WHC. Considering their piss poor treatment of the title, I could see someone cashing-in on the WHC during the middle or early stages of the show to give the crowd a boost.

I think it will happen eventually. I was really surprised Ziggler didn't have his Wrestlemania moment especially after losing the Tagteam title match. Not to take away from Del Rio & Swagger, but Swagger's incident took away any chance of him winning, thus making that program really dull. The World Heavyweight CHampionship needed a jolt and it got it the next night when Dolph Ziggler did indeed cash-in and capture the WHC in a WM-like moment on Raw. However, the concussion issue w/Ziggler ruined what many of us thought would be a lengthy title run for The Showoff. Del Rio surprisingly has transformed his character into someone the fans legit cannot stand and his title run only gains strength as he continues to push past Top WWE Faces. RVD appears next on the list. Will The'E pull the trigger on another World Title for RVD? Or will he like D Bryan have his moment ripped from him by Damian Sandow? Who's to say Cody Rhodes won't emerge w/the briefcase before it's said and done and maybe he cashes in on Del Rio. I personally would rather see a MITB winner hold the briefcase for an entire year and cashi-in as the briefcase is set to expire. Now that's entertainment folks.
