Will and NorCal's general creative discussion thread

I was marking out too. Mostly still euphoric from the Jack Swagger greatness. The Mark Henry crazyness was fucking awesome too.

I gotta be honest.. when Bourne came out.. my initial thought was.. Whelp, he's fucked. Bourne is gonna become nothing on Raw - just like Rey Rey.

When Swagger came out.. my initial thought was.. I thought this was a trade between all THREE Brands, why is Raw getting E.C.W's top talent?

Then when Swagger stood on the ropes and got counted out.. I thought.. So, his official debut on Raw, is bitching out to Orton? :wtf:

When Mark Henry came out.. my initial thought was.. Well that sucks, why is Henry the last guy, whats so impressive about him?

Then, when Henry stood on the apron, then smiled and stopped the count.. my thought was Awwwww, shit yeah.. Orton's gonna get fucked up!

Me said:
Picture this.. Mark Henry, as a face. Being built up against the heels of E.C.W; Swagger, Hart Dynasty, and now apparently Finlay. All in prep to face off in a monster v. monster, mash, against Kozlov!

Henry is a tough as nails S.O.B, but he gets no love. Sure, he's utter shit and for the most part useless. But as a face, who can still be destructive and dominating against heels.. don't you think Henry could be a great opponent for Kozlov, on an E.C.W brand that truly has no opposition for Kozlov to face as it is?

Henry for face; Henry vs. Kozlov - Monster Mash 09. What do you think?

When I said the bolded part.. what'd you think I meant? Henry going back to the dip shit face that did random "I'm strong, look what I can bend" crap? :lmao: Uhm, no.. I meant every bit of what they did with him tonight on Raw.

Fuck, NorCal, WWE Creative is stealing ideas from our thread. LMAO I better jump in there with some more ideas.. :lmao: Hornswoggle on a pole, inferno match - with Khali v. Kane. Fuck yeah, midget's gonna die!!!!!!!

yea, that IS what I thought, thats why I said it in my response to the idea LOL

and I fucking LOVED the Swagger thing. You dont want him getting Lesnar syndrome, they want him staying heel. He didnt bitch out. He slammed him onto his stupid face, as to say "see...I COULD kick your ass..." and then did the "I respect you" thing. I absolutely LOVED it.

and yea your right. Bourne will do/be nothing. I didnt get that move.

Leave it to Lariat to be a little bitch in my Mark Henry's fucking awesome now thread. :disappointed:

I liked the Swagger thing, just didn't get it until I thought about it further. I think Swagger/Kingston will end up feuding at NoC, or Summerslam. Swagger becomes United States Champion.. and the legacy of the All American American - United States Champion, come to fruition. LOL Think about the promos Swagger could have.. as "America's Champion".

As for Bourne, if I've said it once - I've repeated myself too much.. the guy is a mexican jumping bean. Hes fun to watch, about like Benjamin, but he holds NO future outside of entertaining me in spot-fests.

No brand is a proper place for him. Smackdown might have been better, he could've replaced Meth Hardy when he finally leaves after realizing they won't give him the Heavyweight title - no matter how much he's wanting to win it, and walk out as Champion on them. (which I fully think he's hoping for)

EDIT: NorCal, this is some epic conversing - why is it not happening in our thread in the Book This section - for the world to see?

Ill move the posts.

and I am desperately hoping for Swagger Vs Kofi at NOC, becuase ill be there live. Also, I very much noted that "The All American American US Champion" would be utterly FTW in The NorCal thread. I mean, that idea just seems like an absolute gimmie, really.

So, what do you think of the E.C.W additions and losses?

I personally think the Company was getting scared that E.C.W was collecting so much amazing talent - that their one hour shit-fest couldn't contain it all any longer and they had to branch out.

It sucks though, because I think there's such a thing as.. applying pressure to stop the bleeding, and applying too much pressure, to completely cut off circulation.

In my opinion, E.C.W went from having arguably the best roster.. to having Tommy Dreamer, Christian and Vladimir Kozlov as its top three individuals. Thats not even Thursday Night Veloc-stars manageable. And worst of all, Christian is getting anal raped because of it.

I think Regal & Burchill could have a chance to shine here, but I'd be lying if I didn't say Tuesday night's just got a whole lot worse off.

And Benjamin, back on E.C.W - I guess this means he could possibly become a "World" Champion, finally. Imagine that. He'll still suck in my opinion.

So, I have an idea for that Sheamus fucker

it appears they have real plans for him. looking how he does, he sure as SHIT wont be playing anything other than an Irshman. So....

Why doesnt he appear, belittle Finlay for using irish stereo types, and for becoming all pussed out....whip his ass, and use THE OLD FINLAY MUSIC!!!!

Am I the only guy who finds it hard ot take Sheamus seriously with that tool fuckin entrance theme he comes out to? if he really wants to be a "celtic warrior" and stage a "takeover" of ECW, then dammit, get that badass, hardass celtic music Finlay used to have. He can disrespect a fairly known, beloved vet, learn how to work, and enhance his character ten fold.

Dare I suggest saying they use the civil war in ireland? saying the two of them are from opposite sides of the political unrest? ehhhhh?

Ever see The Departed Norcal? You know the main song in that film, Shipping off to Boston by Dropkick Murpheys? Yeah... that should be Sheamus' new music, in my opinion. Tell me that wouldn't make for a bad ass wrestling entrance song?

But as far as the rest of your idea of him disrespecting Finlay and all that... I completely agree. Throw Hornswoggle in there to get his ass kicked like JBL did to him, keep it serious... and boom, you have one bad ass mothefucking Irish heel, who has a fresh, new feel to him.

But for the love of God, please give him this entrance music, or at the very least the instrumental to it:

Will and NorCal, this thread has been more entertaining than some of the Book This's I have read. I salute you for creating it.

First, is it "Sheamus"? I could really care less, so we'll assume it is.

From the instant another Irish-made Wrestler/Gimmick debuted, I figured either an Alliance or a Feud would spawn from it.

At this point, it'd serve Finlay to help put Sheamus over, but to be truthfully honest.. Sheamus is never going to equal even a quarter of what Finlay has become throughout his career. (And that truly doesn't say a lot, at all)

I can't stand watching this guy on Tuesday nights and would far much prefer seeing the Japanese guy get a bigger push, or even Burchill. (which I've come to the conclusion, a Regal/Burchill reunion is just NEVER going to happen.)

Anyways, as for Sheamus, I just can't see anything worth pushing, but if it must be done.. they might as well go the route of what you're talking. It'll only gain sub-par attention by the crowd, but thats likely a lot more than what he's been getting thus far.

Much like NorCal and Will, Battlez and I have alot of ideas about the wrestling world, and we're gonna post all of them here. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

The following is a look inside the world of professional wrestling. I'll try to post these weekly and defend my idea as the week goes on. Feedback would be greatly appreciated.

nWo: Rebirth

Okay. So we all know DX is reuniting, right? Well if you don't then go watch Raw again. This will probably be the last time we see two original members of D-Generation X put on the ol' green and black. So as every wrestling personality does, they need to pass the torch. Just as Michaels did for Austin, just as JBL did for Cena, just as HHH did for Batista, etc. You've heard it all before, right? Well I say the perfect way for DX to go out is to feud with the nWo. Well, you say:

I Don't Fucking Give A Damn Who Posted It said:
Well, how are they going to do that? Hogan's off fucking bikini blondes, Nash is in TNA, and Hall working in the indies, getting drunk and watching Care Bear DVDs!

Well I say:

JKO said:
I know, I know. As Shelton Benjamin would say, "Shut the Smurf up or go Smurf yourself!"

Okay, so all the original members are off doing shit. Fair enough, but there are two superstars who could create this new nWo.

Chris Jericho and Big Show.

Last month at Night Of Champions, some people expected Y2J's partner to be someone awesome. Some people expected his partner to be evil. Some people expected his partner to be cool. Hell, considering what happened the next night, Jericho's partner could have been a masterpiece. But no, we got somebody who's big.

Fair enough.

So for the past couple of weeks, we've seen a different Big Show. Not the dirty, when-was-the-last-time-you-took-a-fucking-shower Big Show. No, we saw a more refined, since-I-hang-around-with-Y2J-I-can-afford-fancy-clothing Big Show. Now things seem to be going great. So why fuck it up with a cheap reenactment of the nWo? Because the WWE needs new stars. The last real star the WWE made was CM Punk. That won't cut it in a time when familiar faces (Kane, Batista, Shawn Michaels, Undertaker, etc.) are leaving. So I say set it up like this:

Have Chris Jericho and Big Show come out say that and the next PPV (Say Bragging Rights) that they will unleash something so devastating upon the WWE Universe that only stars of their caliber would be included in it. Come Bragging Rights, have Y2J and Big Show interfere in DX's match, but DX fights back. Out of nowhere, the nWo music hits and have Dolph Ziggler walk down to the ring with 3 nWo shirts. Make it look like Y2J and Big Show couldn't have won without Ziggler. Have Dolph Ziggler help take out DX, and BAM! you have an instant new faction-nWo.

You could have this new nWo control Smackdown. Have Dolph Ziggler capture the Intercontinental Title. Have Jericho capture the ECW Title, and Big Show and Y2J will continue to dominate the tag team division and its titles. Maybe give Y2J a short run with both the World Heavyweight and ECW Titles. You could even have Maria as the valet and have her win the Womens' Title (she deserves it anyway, she was very over as a face, even if it was only because of Playboy and John Cena). Jericho having the ECW Title will raise the prestige like fuck! And whoever Jericho loses it to gets a huge rub. Having this nWo on ECW will raise its ratings, and it's perfect for the PG Era because the nWo was never that edgy in the first place. Have Ziggler be a dominant champion. He could defend it against guys like Taker, Hardy (Both of them if Jeff is still around), John Morrison (He won't need it because it looks as if he's gonna win the Rumble whether he's ready for it or not), Mysterio, Punk, etc. Have him demolish his challengers. Build him up.

Then, at the No Way Out Elimination Chambers, have Ziggler eliminate Y2J. Then on the next Smackdown, have Jericho congratulate Ziggler on his progress to superstardom since joining the nWo. Then out of nowhere, Big Show chokeslams Ziggler and Jericho locks him in the Walls Of Jericho. Then, Ziggler and Jericho could have a mini-feud leading up into WrestleMania (They couldn't have the match at WrestleMania itself, as they have been foreshadowing an Edge face turn, so it's Edge vs. Jericho). Have Ziggler win Money In The Bank, and have him play the tweener role that Orton had in Mid-Late '05. This angle would create a new star, increase ratings on Smackdown and ECW, and raise the prestige of the ECW and IC belts. Sounds like there's only positives coming from this. Am I right, or should I be taken out back and shot?

I like the idea but you won't see it in WWE. Vince just doesn't care and the majority of his viewers now never even saw the NWO in either their WWE or WCW run so why bother. They'd just be confused as shit. Ziggler isn't quite ready for that kind of push and having Jericho hold that many championships at once is too much even for him. But I like the thought process behind it.

Guys, I'm gonna be completely honest when I tell you.. any idea that has the n.W.o involved.. is just not going to work, ever again.

The n.W.o was original in W.C.W, and worked from 1996-1998. It by all rights should have and needed to, die, in 1998 at Fall Brawl inside War Games. It did not, and was ****ed out badly over the following 4 years - including a shit run in W.W.E, via Hogan, Hall and Nash.. in which all three of them were massively made fun of, by The Rock & Steve Austin, through segments.

In fact, the last remaining memories of the n.W.o in the Wrestling world included Goldust and Booker T.. not exactly what I'd consider an elite group.

McMahon will never run with someone else's cash cow, because he has a jealousy issue. If HE didn't create it, he won't use it and run with it. And before anyone brings up ECW, think again. The ECW we have now, is no where NEAR what the original was.

I think that their should absolutely be a new faction to push talents and put new life into the some titles (US Title, Tag Titles, Womens Title etc).

I did have an idea for a number of factions “waging war on each other”. for example u could have 2 factions team up to help take on their enemy. As if it is done right i reckon a large amount of feuds could come out of it.

(Basically I’m no good with coming up with faction names so I’m just gunna use faction names I stole from Dragon Gate as I like them)

Typhoon (for example) = Chris Jericho, The Big Show, Dolph Ziggler, Kane, CM Punk, Nikki Bella & Michelle McCool.
World-1 (for example)= Cryme Tyme, Rey Mystrio, The Great Khali, Matt Hardy, Brie Bella & Melina.
The Legacy (for example)= Randy Orton, Ted DiBiase, Cody Rhodes, Jack Swagger, Chris Masters, Gail Kim & Vladimir Kozlov.
Evolution (for example)= John Cena, Shawn Michaels, Triple H, M.V.P, Mark Henry, Mickie James & Christian.

Typhoon vs. World-1

Both faction could originally start of as with 4 men each (e.g. Jericho, Show, Ziggler & Kane and Cryme Tyme, Mystrio & Khali). They could face of in a 8 Man Tag Team match and after the match ends they continue to brawl. Then the next week on SMACKDOWN both could form faction to face of against each other. Then over a couple of weeks both could gain more members (depending on the members you could have a good few tag matches, women’s matches & singles matches).

The Legacy vs. Evolution

Could start off the same as Typhoon vs. World-1 except have it just start off as three members each e.g. Cena, HHH & M.V.P and Orton, DiBiase & Swagger. It could start off with them feuding separately (Cena vs. Orton, M.V.P vs. Swagger & HHH vs. DiBiase) on the run up to Wrestlemania or Summer Slam. At the event itself the Heels come out the winners and the next night on RAW they talk to each other in a number of segments talking about how great they are and how they are the future of the business. Then before the main event of the night in a six man tag team match they could announce that they are now known as The Legacy. They then go onto winning the match and as they are beating down their opponents Cena, HHH & M.V.P come out to make the save. Then as RAW is closing they are announce that they are forming a stable of their own known as Evolution. The next week they both announce new members to their own groups (Cody Rhodes and HBK). It then continues on like Typhoon vs. World-1 were they both gain members over a couple of weeks.

Then after both groups have feuded with each other for a while at an upcoming PPV a match could be announced involving 1 or more members from each faction (e.g. Chris Jericho vs. Matt Hardy vs. Jack Swagger vs. John Cena). This is when everything gets switched. Typhoon starts feuding with Evolution and The Legacy vs. World-1 (except now the face and heel groups have formed alliances).

To end both groups feuds they could team up in a 6 on 6 / a multiple person match with the losing teams disbanding.

Over all a feud like that would need a lot of working on (e.g. faction names, members, matches etc). but if done right I think it could last from 6 months to a year.
