Why Kurt Angle???

I was so badly wanting to see Kurt Angle return to the WWE, the guy is one of the best talents on earth at the moment and still in his prime. He puts on great matches and is solid main event material guaranteed.

I see that he has committed his future to TNA! I have only one question about this and that is WHY???

The WWE has always been the number one wrestling company in the world and it always will be but Kurt seems to think differently stating that he wants to help TNA overtake the WWE and that he thinks the company has tonnes of potential!

What planet is he on? From what I have seen recently, TNA sucks big time and doesn't seem to be working at all at the moment. I know Kurt has a messed up private life etc, but he really needs to focus his mind and return to the big leagues (WWE), where he really belongs and on the world stage. He's kidding himself if he thinks TNA is the place to be.

Is he staying with TNA because he likes the fact he is the face of their second rate company or is it because he has too many issues for or with the WWE?

:confused::confused::confused:

Kurt Angle probably has the closest thing to Hulk Hogan's WCW deal in wrestling right now. Kurt Angle makes more money than almost anyone else on the TNA roster and he has Dixie Carter wrapped around his little finger.

Anything that Kurt Angle wants, he gets in TNA. If he wants back in the TNA World Heavyweight Championship picture, he'll get it. Whenever he wants time off, he gets it and for however long he wants it. Also, as long as you're able to do your job in TNA, they don't give a shit what you do. Look at Jeff Hardy & Kurt Angle's behavior in TNA. Angle's been arrested & charged with crimes a couple of times so far and we all know what's going on with Jeff Hardy. TNA also has a much lighter schedule than WWE but I'd say Angle could have a reduced schedule in WWE if he wanted it.

Kurt Angle likes it in TNA because he gets his way no matter what. When Jeff Jarrett began dating Karen Angle, Kurt went apeshit and was threatening to quit if Jarrett wasn't gone. While Jarrett did nothing to actually warrant any sort of disciplinary action, the man was gone from TNA for about 6 months. Despite the fact that Jeff Jarrett still owns nearly 30% of TNA and is the original owner & founder of the company, Angle had the stroke to make Dixie Carter make Jarrett disappear for a long time.

He's said multiple times that he intends to retire in TNA and given the amount of power that he has, it's hard to think of why he'd wanna leave.

Whah whah whah. Kurt can go wherever he chooses. He doesn't need to pander to anyone just because they believe he should be in WWE. Kurt left on his own accord, he can return when he pleases. Apparently it's an act of dishonor now to step down a peg and help others go up. Gimme a break. I'd bet my money that if he were in WWE constantly in the main event, people would whine about him holding people down. Yeah, he's great. We know. That's not a warrant for him to go to WWE. Pleasing a crowd of 70k people isn't a perk in his contract. What TNA offers to him, he likes. Period. It's not about pleasing some fan's. He can do that pretty well from TNA. It's about himself.

I would like him back in WWE too man but what can you do.

From what I've heard Kurt is happy to be working for TNA, he gets pretty much anything he wants creative wise, makes a ton of money, and can have as much or as little time as he wants off anytime he wants it, thats a lot better of a deal then he would have gotten in WWE. WWE can pay him more but they would also want more out of him in return, it sounds like Kurt cares more about being happy at work instead of making a ton more money being miserable. Besides he still makes plenty of money and he gets to be happy so why not stay in TNA, Kurt is one of the guys that TNA actually treats well.

Don't think he had as much of a choice as you think. Angle isn't anywhere near as good in the ring as he used to be. His matches are repetitive and he doesn't have a single believeable finish. Plus he's kind of a liability. He's a leading "benoit" candidate at this point.

I dont care if angle works the indy circuit for the next few years. I just want to see him live long enough to get there. I really hope that he gets the help that he deserves. he has given so much for this business. I would hate to see him die young via self-destruction. He has so much left to offer the business. I sincerly hope he can get his act together.

I can think of several reasons as to why he would stick with WWE.

1. Legacy. If TNA somehow gets to or near the top while he's apart of it or around his tenure with the company, he looks like a hero to all fans of the sport that oppose the machine that is WWE. If he and TNA fail in doing this, than he looks like a loyal guy that gave it everything he had. Either way, not too shabby a way to be remembered.

2. Work Rate. TNA has more of a TNA work rate at this particular point than WWE has. I can think of several TNA match ups for Angle. Not so many WWE match ups. I can see new ones, but not the best ones.

3. Money & Opportunity. He's a big fish in the second biggest pond in American wrestling. Not too shabby, especially when you consider that a company in their position is one solid year away from doubling their audience. He also has more chances to do things outside of TNA. It's easier with the schedule as well.
