Why Jon Moxley’s WWE run was a failure

Moxley is more entertaining than anyone has been on Raw and Smackdown the past two yearshits besides Becky Lynch, keep being a WWE sheep, it's what you're good at.

We like what we like, i like my wrestling to make sense i have have actual story which WWE and NXT does more then AEW does. If that make me a WWE sheep so be it but that also make you a AEW sheep with a comment like that.

But you were in the minority, if that was the case, wwe would have went with ambrose instead of reigns

He wasn't in the minority. The MAJORITY of people preferred either Ambrose or Rollins. VINCE preferred Reigns so he's the one that got pushed. It's that simple.

Dean Ambrose (never using that horrible toilet bowl cleaner name) was not a failure in WWE, that's laughably untrue. Not every guy can be a long-term main eventer, and Ambrose didn't have the tools to be one of those elite few that are. He was a perfectly serviceable midcarder and was a guy like Jericho or Christian, who could be in a tag team, the midcard, or occasionally slotted into a main event spot here and there when needed.

If you think:

1-Time WWE Champion
3-Time Intercontinental Champion
1-Time United States Champion
2-Time RAW Tag Team Champion
2016 Money in the Bank Winner

all equates to a failure, you understand even less about wrestling than most here do. Ambrose had a career in WWE most guys would kill for. He was just never going to be one of the top guys in the business, and that's because he wasn't good enough.

Ambrose never grew as a character when you think about what he could of been, he debuted as the leader of the shield and then left to become this dull, isolated character.

At the end of the day, the guy had a good run. Was creative always great for him? No, it was not. Also if the man does not care enough as he showed in his later years in the company, then he was not going to pushed as he wished.

Not going to go into this whole anti reigns bullshit again as the part of your speech is becoming boring at this point and it's a no win situation for everybody involved.

Bit you look at the facts, when the shield broke up, who was getting the biggest pop between Ambrose and Reigns? Reigns was. Until Reigns got injured, that was the dream match for the fans. They wanted to see Reigns vs Rollins and then he got injured and they went with Ambrose. Then after that Reigns got put back in that top position because at the time that what the fans wanted. Kevin Owens said it best on corey graves's podcast, you know you made it when you get get a polarizing reaction from the fans and that why Reigns got push, because no matter what, he was getting a reaction, which equals to merchandise sale being up which equal to more money in the WWE pockets. Ambrose no matter what you want to say about it wasn't getting over with everybody. The core audience loved him and a good portion of the rest of the audience couldn't care less about him. The other problem with ambrose was that in WWE, he couldn't be his true self, which is a death match wrestler. That's what he always wanted to do and WWE couldn't let him be as crazy as he wanted to because of a lot of outside factors, so he just gave up and did his job with any passion and it showed, so fans gave up on him because he gave up. Reigns always had that passion and it showed everytime he's step in a WWE ring and that's why fans continue to cheer or boo him, because they know he cares about giving them a good show no matter what they think of him. Same with rollins.

Ambrose had a good WWE career, he won a lot of championship in WWE and could have been a lot more but it's hard to care about a performer when the performer doesn'T care. That's why Ambrose never made it to the same level as Reigns and Rollins in WWE, Because at the end, he didn't want to be there while the other 2 wanted to be there and you and everybody else can spin that however you want, but in the end, Vince will push wrestlers that has the same passion he has for the company because that's makes for good business, if you don't care, why should they push you?

Dear god, the Reigns *********ion is strong with you. Does Vince personally pay you to shill for Roman? "Reigns always had that passion and it showed everytime he's step in a WWE ring and that's why fans continue to cheer or boo him, because they know he cares about giving them a good show no matter what they think of him." This is the single most false statement I've EVER seen. This is a simple, bold-faced lie.

Dear god, the reigns hated is strong with you, it's so strong that you can't even see the facts when they hit you in the face. Continue to live through your hate, it's passed being the cool thing to do at this point but i said it before and i say it again. We're just not on the same side on this and we're never going to be. I deal in fact and you deal in hate so let's just agree to disagree on this and move on.

What facts do you have? I can name half a dozen matches just off the top of my head where Reigns displayed his laziness and lack of passion for the business. Royal Rumble 2015, WrestleMania 31, Royal Rumble 2016, Fastlane 2016, Money in the Bank 2016, Clash of Champions 2016, Fastlane 2017, SummerSlam 2017, just to name a few. Your claims of people booing Reigns only because it was "cool" are also completely false. The FACT is that Reigns gets booed because he's hated by wrestling fans. WWE tricked a lot of the dumb ones, including yourself, into cheering for him temporarily by faking cancer (you have yet to provide one shred of FACTUAL EVIDENCE that his cancer was real, whereas I have repeatedly proven, using FACTUAL EVIDENCE, WWE's history of faking tragedies to garner audience reactions). You continue to stubbornly cheer him to prove that you're "woke" or whatever the term is now, but more and more fans are realizing they were lied to. The boos for Reigns are growing again, week by week, and this is once again proven by FACTS, which any human being with functional ears can perceive on WWE television. When the IWC's beloved Fiend gets buried by Reigns at WrestleMania, you'll see the rest of the crowd turn on him again, and the next week you'll be claiming you never liked Reigns and weren't rabidly supporting his lies.

Good for you, all thoses exemples can be use to illustrated my point as well so it's all in your interpretation. Again, i'm not going to get into this whole reigns thing with you because where both are going to lose if we continue with this because where 2 really pig headed people that want to prove that where right so let's just agree to disagree and move on.

Keep it short and sweet moxley reminded me alot of Brian Pillman. But just wasn’t suited for the wwe... there were just too many restrictions holding him back...
the difference between Moxley and Pillman is that Pillman entered the company at exactly the right time that 96/97 era where they were gonna start getting a little bit more raunchy, Pillmans character was perfect for that time even though he wasn’t the greatest worker.

There’s only so much Moxley could have done in today’s wwe since it’s so pg. also Moxley never really had great in ring skills he was always a guy in the Indys you could count on for a great promo but he’d consistently have the worst match of the night
I feel like he was a small fish in a big pond in the wwe and he didn’t like how he was being used. Of course everyone wishes they were the center of attention. So Moxley went to aew where he’s a key player. And he likes that his character is a badass. In the wwe he kept losing to guys like Drew McIntyre.

I get the same feeling with Cody. He too probably always felt like he should have been the big superstar in the wwe and now he is now that he’s running the company.
