Edge is champion because he deserves it (atleast IMO), he's a great heel champion, and i think he should hold the title for a good amount of time, but that won't happen unfortunetly.

Edge is a much better champ than Cena in my opinion. He's quite possibly the best heel in the company today. He's been around for a while, and held his fair share of titles. He's more talented than Cena in the ring, in my opinion. He's deserved a title shot for a while even before the Matt Hardy situation, adn I hope he holds the title for quite some time.

i like edge, and im glad he's champ, he better not lose it soon, but he probably will lose it to cena at summerslam
Edge is WWE Champion probably for many reasons. He is perhaps the best heel in the WWE & he has paid his dues. He is also a very good wrestler. My hope for Edge is that he will be in the WWE Championship Match or World Heavyweight Championship Match next year at WrestleMania 23.

Yeah dude if anybody know's anything about Edge its me...Im a Edgeaholic ask gamehead...It took him 14 years to win the gold and he deservesit...He has put his body on the line in all those tlc matches....He has been Loyal wether its on smackdown or its on RAw plus he didnt bitch about his 1 month reign...

What kills me is you Cena marks are no different than The Rock marks are.The only real difference being is that Rock was a better champ.Cena was the worst thing to have ever happend to the WWE title.You bandwagon hopping Cena **** kill me with Cena should be the champ shit again.Cena can't wrestle,he's better as a heel anyway,white rappers suck,overall Cena is corny as hell.Edge is Triple H all over again when Hunter was tagged The Game some years back.Lita is no Chyna but it's working.Edge is a better wrestler,better on the mike,funnier,and alot cooler gimmick.So all you Cena love-slaves can forget about your number one rump ranger getting the title back cause if he does th WWE will drift futher down the drain with another "Live and die through Hogan" type situation by doing the same with that wigger cheeseball stiff John Cena.Cena could get shot in a drive -by shooting in the hood for all I care,Oh that's right it's just a gimmick he has no real street cred,He REALLY is Vanilla Ice now...........

Ok, I only really started liking Edge last year (around NYR) Dont get me wrong Edge has always been very skilled but as the whole 'Edge Army' Face character I really didnt like him! He was IC level and that was it? BUT.... As the Rated R Superstar heel Edge he is f*cking awesome! In short he has the title because does anyone really get RVD as champ!? Heck no! He is IC/US level and should have been ECW champ but is not the same par as a HHH or a JBL or a Eddie etc due to poor creative work on his behalf.
Edge makes a very good Heel champ and will have a run of a few months. The title will go back to Cena between Aug-Nov and that will lead to Cena vs Orton at Maina for the WWE Title.

Edge DOES NOT suck. And he DESERVES to be champion. People think he sux for the fact that he is heel. If Cena was heel you Edge haters would hate Cena and prey that Edge takes the title and shit.
