I don't think it's all that premature to start thinking who's going to main event WrestleMania 32. The creative is definitely talking about this so we should too.

Here are the options that I can see for the WM32 main event and how the Rumble will look like:

1. John Cena (for John Cena vs. Roman Reigns)- To officially pass the torch. In theory, the best way for this story to be told is for Cena to win the title off of Seth or any other intermediary, and then Roman wins the Rumble again. However, to avoid another crash and burn like 2015, they might go in a different direction. Roman wins the title around SummerSlam and gets the crowd used to him, when Cena wins the Rumble for a 3rd time and fights to keep his spot. Roman retains, and continues his long reign as a fighting champion, just like Cena used to be.

2. Brock Lesnar (for Brock Lesnar vs. Seth Rollins)- Without taking into consideration future writing, this is probably the money match as of what they have already booked. People want to see Brock get his hands on him and if Seth weasels his way into keeping the title by WrestleMania 32, WWE might want to have Brock win the Rumble and take the title off him at the grandest stage. He would probably lose the title at Extreme Rules due to his limited schedule, but the story they want to tell would be complete.

3. Roman Reigns (for Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns II)- Twice in a lifetime. This will be simple enough. Brock beats Seth for the title at the Rumble and gets his comeuppance there, and Roman wins the Rumble again to face him. Rerun from last year, but this time, there will be a winner. I personally don't like this idea at all, but I wouldn't put it past WWE to do it. They could also go the backwards way of having Roman be the fighting champ who thwarts Brock the Rumble winner, but setting up Brock for a long journey to win the title is just asking for the audience to boo Roman.

4. Bray Wyatt (for Roman Reigns vs. Bray Wyatt)- They always have a big program for Bray leading up to Mania and they've kept him and Roman far apart for a reason. They might be thinking of going this route for WrestleMania. If Roman is a fighting champ by the time the Rumble comes around, Bray could win the title shot and face Roman at the big event. If they do Sting/Taker, Triple H/Rock and Brock/Seth or other top matches like that on the show, there's an outside chance that this will not be the main event.

5. Triple H (for Roman Reigns vs. Triple H)- After Roman crushes all members of the Authority one by one, Triple H could come back to win the Rumble and try and beat Roman himself. A lot of people wonder why Triple H needed the win at WM31, but it could be because Triple H is looking to main event WM32 and needed some momentum to do so. This would give Roman a strong win and save Cena/Roman and Brock/Roman II for future Manias.

6. Dean Ambrose (for a Shield Triple Threat)- I could have sworn they were saving this for WrestleMania, but now I'm not so sure. If they were saving this for WM32, they wouldn't have put all Shield members against each other at Payback like it was nothing. It still might be in the cards, and if it happens, Dean has to win the Rumble to get some momentum going. Roman and Seth will be in the title picture all year, but Dean needs the rub.

7. Rusev (for Roman Reigns vs. Rusev)- I don't know what the plans are for Rusev, but if they're going to build up anyone to feed to Roman at WrestleMania, it will probably be him. I'm not a fan of building anybody up to feed to Roman, but we all know that's WWE's M.O. when they have a new top guy. If the Roman push comes through, this could be a credible main event if Wyatt, Triple H and Cena all have other plans.

8. Seth Rollins (for Roman Reigns vs. Seth Rollins)- All signs are pointing to this match happening during 2015, and I doubt they'll retread it at WrestleMania. However, they might shuffle the title during the year to put the title on Roman without doing the straight up singles match. By the time Seth wins the Rumble with the Authority's help, Roman is a fighting champ and has to face the guy who cost him the title the year before.

9. Daniel Bryan (for Daniel Bryan vs. Seth Rollins)- While I can't imagine WWE choosing this match to main event WM32, I can see them doing Brock/Rock or w/e as the big marquee match and have Seth face Bryan in the penultimate match. People go wild for Bryan's return, they give him the Yessemania push, and they have a nice solid penultimate match for WM32 while everyone else has big feuds that don't need the title (Roman/Cena, Rock/Brock, Sting/Taker, etc.)

10. Randy Orton (for Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton)- Cena got to win twice and Batista got to win twice, so it's only natural if Orton gets a 2nd win. If Brock beats Seth in his rematch and wins the title, Randy could swerve us by rejoining the Authority and facing Brock at WrestleMania. It's not the best twist, but it's probably the only way we get this match if Brock turns face.

So what do you guys think? Who's winning the Royal Rumble?

Well first of all wrestlers like Austin, Rollins, Reigns, Lesnar, Cena and Bryan don't need to win this event in order to main event anything.

They are all certified main event superstars. It should be reserved for someone that is either in line for a push like Ambrose or Rusev. The one person that shouldn't be anywhere near the Royal Rumble is Daniel Bryan.

If Bryan is healthy then give him a high profile match, and if he is just on the very of a comeback, hold off on it till later. Although I also think that Bryan with the injuries he's had, may not ever main event again.

It's no secret I want Ambrose to win the match. The guy has busted his ass, gotten himself over despite losing almost every match he's been in. Would love to see a Shield triple threat, and Ambrose walking out of Mania as champ.

Right now it's pretty impossible to chose the Rumble winner, especially after all the rumors about WWE wanting to make 'Mania 32 a big event and having superstars like The Rock, Austin, Batista and HBK on that card.

From all the guys you mentioned, I wouldn't be suprised if the chose Rock, Cena or Lesnar to win, in order to have a big money-maker WWE WH Championship match.

Orton, Batista, Reigns, HHH shouldn't touch that match. WWE can't have negative Rumble feedback for a fourth year in a row (Cena,Batista,Reigns,???).

I don't think they have any idea of what to do with Wyatt and I doubt he's going to be maineventing Mania 32. Rusev won't be that huge in order to deliver a big match.

Clearly I don't know what's going to happen, so I'm going to state who I want to win: Ambrose. At Wrestlemania we get Reigns(c) vs Rollins vs Ambrose for the title. Ambrose pins Rollins to get the belt.

However, I don't think Ambrose's winning, not that year, excpet if the former members of the Shield really rock out the reminder of 2015, which will prove them to be big stars and big time draws.

My current preference is Lesnar, have him enter at #20 and have there be about 12-15 people in the ring when his music hits, by the time #21's music hits there 3 or 4 left. Just let Lesnar rampage on everyone in his path and have the final 2 be him and Reigns who is doing the iron man role. Have Brock win with an F5 over the top rope and then have the two wrestle at Fastlane to get the true winner and Lesnar win but Reigns who still has a rematch clause from his loss to Rollins in a ladder match TLC use it to make it a Triple Threat and have Lesnar win and continue his dominance.

PS
Reigns beat Rollins at Summerslam for the title and dropped it back to him in a ladder match at TLC

You see, I personally want Dean Ambrose to win the Money in the Bank this year. He can be a biggest threat for the title and Seth Rollins in that way by playing hide and seek or cat and mouse game against him. He has been booked as a lunatic fringe. He can give crazy times to Seth Rollins by walking down and just passing by now and then every time to time during Seth's matches.

Let Roman Reigns win the Royal Rumble. Let him get all the respect of the fans that he didn't receive a bit last year. Let him and a top heel to be last two men standing in the ring and the heel should yell at Roman something like "They hate you! They don't want you win! You'll get booed!" But instead Roman gets the win and gets the respect.

This can ultimately lead to the Shield Triple threat match at Wrestlemania 32!!

PS. They should book Roman Reigns in a pretty safe way heading into the Royal Rumble. Putting him against tough opponents, when I say tough I really do mean freaking tough opponents, just to get into the Rumble!!

NOT DANIEL BRYAN

In all honesty, I voted Daniel Bryan more because I want to see him win it and not because I think he will.
Lets Be real here... the company doesn't want to or have to put their faith in Bryan and for the third year in a row, even with him probably being the most over guy in the roster he will be passed over again.

Also his health is a big part of the equation. If he can't go, don't even give a hint that he could be in the rumble, but if he can sustain a run with the belt then go all in with him. Crowd will ALWAYS LOVE DANIEL BRYAN. And Wrestlemania, in the age of the WWE network, now sells itself. You can have your huge matches that sell the event for the casuals, but like we saw back at Wrestlemania 30, nothing beats an entire stadium chanting yes yes yes and their hero climbed the mountain!

I agree. It is pretty tough to predict. A lot can happen between now and January (start of WrestleMania season).

Vince seems to be anti-triple threat matches. My pick would be The Rock (if he's not too busy for WM 32). I know he got to film Furious 8 and got that movie with Kevin Hart coming out. If he's busy, I think HHH gets the win. HHH vs. Brock IV. Top heel vs. Top face.

Depends on who'll be the champ at mania. It is too early to say anything but still
1.The Rock: He has always talked of putting Reigns over so if Reigns is the champ the choice for rumble winner is quite clear. I'd love it if he comes back as Black Adam. They can also do an angle where the rock wins the rumble and Reigns wins the strap before mania leading to a family face off.
2.Daniel Bryan: If HHH can win the rumble after just returning from an injury then so can bryan and he's one guy who can put great matches matching the expectation of mania and a title match.
3.Dean Ambrose: This can be one of the greatest angle ever. After rollins somehow survives a cash in of the mitb by ambrose, ambrose wins the rumble again to face rollins at mania in an IM match or a HIAC(not too many people have met twice in HIAC) finally ending the feud.
4.Reigns: If The rock/Black Adam is the champ.
People wanted to see a shield triple threat but with their face off at payback i guess that ship has sailed.

Unless a major call up from NXT happens and a NXT guy becomes a main event guy (Finn Balor, Zayn, Owens) Dean Ambrose is winning the match.

Even if a major call up does in fact take place I don't see it being big enough to let them main event the biggest WM.

As much as I love Daniel Bryan, if I were WWE I would not let him win this year solely to see if he can put on a whole year without any injuries. I know some fans might not like that but thinking from the companies point of view, Daniel Bryan just can't seem to catch a break when he's in the main event scene. He's kind of like Wade Barrett. Thats the only reason why I don't see him winning the Rumble.

Roman Reigns will not win two years in a row. In fact if I had to take a guess...around Rumble time Roman Reigns will be the WWEWHC. I see him walking into WM with the title and probably leaving with the title.

Seth Rollins could potentially win the match but I believe that come Wrestlemania, we may be in for a Seth Rollins Vs. HHH match up thus leading me to believe that Rollins won't win the Royal Rumble.

That leaves one other big name who the WWE is finally starting to push again..Dean Ambrose. How fitting is it that the lunatic fringe comes out at #1 and somehow pushes himself past his limits and shows his resiliency and wins the match? I think that tells a pretty good story. If Dean doesn't win or at least isn't in a big singles match at WM...I don't know how big of a star he'll ever really be.

Three options for me.

1. Seth Rollins - Reigns wins the belt, Ambrose wins MITB and Rollins wins the Royal Rumble.
2. Dean Ambrose. As per the above but Rollins captures his second MITB and Reigns wins the belt.
3. Bray Wyatt - as this is set to be a MEGA card, with everyone under the sun rumoured to be wrestling (Undertaker/Sting/Triple H/Brock/The Rock/Ronda Rousey/Hogan/Cena, etc). I think you can get away with a solid title match, that is obviously not the main event. Reigns wins the title. Wyatt wins the Rumble. They meet. Reigns wins.

I don't see why injuries will hold him from winning the rumble or main eventing. Edge and Shawn Michaels sustained injures that sidelined them for a long time but returned to the main event scene. If DB can recover despite being shelved for a long time, I am sure he can come back as one of the top guys.

The way I see it, Roman should go into mania as champion, have Rollins win the rumble and have him and Roman enter the mania title match program only to have Dean come out and announce he's cashing in his briefcase at mania to make the main event a shield reunion. Simple and effective booking.

I wouldn't be surprised if we see Roman win it again with the WWE thinking they can get it right this time around. It's still early to tell as we are just now getting into our first feuds after Mania and in some cases we are still on Mania feuds, but if WWE can find a way to continue to make Roman look strong while getting more of the fans on his side I would then consider him the favorite for the 2016 Rumble.

A few others have said the same thing, but I disagree with the notion that it's too early to tell. Last year around this time, it was clear as day that Roman was pegged to win the Rumble, and we all called it. Same goes for Cena's Rumble win 2 years ago. I think another Roman win is possible, but I'm really hoping against it. Right now, I'm thinking John Cena wins the Rumble. Usually when they move him away from the title picture for long periods of time, it's because they're waiting on his big title match (like spending so much time feuding with the Nexus and New Nexus before WM27 and feuding with a bunch of random guys before WM29).

I voted Rusev right now.

Seth Rollins is a close 2nd IMO but he just doesn't need it as much & if he's still in the title picture he may not even be in the rumble match again. I'd love to see Dean Ambrose win it but I think WWE's plan right now is to have him win MitB this year, not the 2016 Rumble. Bryan winning would be awesome too but after all his health issues I doubt we'll see him in the main event of WM again, let alone next year. Bray Wyatt is more of a supernatural character & hasn't been anywhere near any titles so far so I don't expect him to win, although I could see him having another impressive showing. & I guess Roman could win again but I think that would just kind of sour people on him again & I actually think he is doing fine right now. Also like Rollins, he really doesn't need it at this point to challenge for the title or main event a big PPV.

& as for the rest listed, I either don't expect them to win at all (Big Show & Axel), I don't expect to see them in the rumble match (Stone Cold, Rocky, HHH & Batista) or it'd just be super boring & lackluster if they won again (Cena & Orton).

I'd say the there is only for names that really makes sense to win it.

Roman Reigns- IF WWE can get him over (with cheers again.) Then this should be his. He could either win it and face Brock Lesnar,John Cena, or The Shield (Rollins (rematch after betrayl cash in by Ambrose), Ambrose (c) ) for the championship at WrestleMania. He is the most logical choice to win it, and quite frankly after the year he has had so far deserves to win.

Daniel Bryan- He would be my backup choice. My scenario for him would either see him facing Rollins, or Wyatt for the title and ultimately losing the match at Mania. They could make the fans happy, while also doing matches like Cena/Reigns,Sting/Taker,Rock/Brock, Triple H/ Wyatt or Rollins.

John Cena- IF Cena wins a third time he should face Reigns and win at title 16 at Mania by turning heel. Or he could put Reigns over and pass the torch losing the match. This is a win-win for WWE because Reigns would be an over babyface and Cena would be acting like the heel (like he did in the feud with Rock.

Bray Wyatt - This is my darkhorse candidate. If he wins it would either be to face Reigns or Bryan (again) at Mania. Both matches are dream matches respectively. Even though Bryan/Wyatt happened before, the title would make it worth it. But the Bryan holding the WHC scenario seems far fetched, and WWE wouldn't want Reigns to win his first world title outside of a big event, so he won't win it.

THE OBVIOUS CHOICE IS ROMAN REIGNS AGAIN!!!!

Cena beats Rollins for the title at Survivor Series and Reigns wins the RR. Either Reigns wins and Cena passes the torch. Or Cena wins by turning heel. WIN-WIN FOR WWE HERE!!!! AND A CLASSIC MOMENT!!!
