Who Will Win The Big One First? Kofi Or Morrison?

Good point all around. When you look at the roster, it does indeed make more sense that Morrison could challenge Dave before Kofi would get a shot at a Heel WWE champ, whomever that may or may not be. But with how we saw Sheamus leap frog from step 5 to 8 in one night, who's to say they wouldn't do the same with a midcard face on smackdown? You want my honest opinion? I think they're gonna do such a slow build with Morrison that he might just dethrown honky tonk man. Cuz lets face it. Batista is supposedly going to take the belt from taker at royal rumble, right? That means no rumble for Taker to win. So not only will taker most likely not be in the title contention for Smackdown, but he also can't just challenge Cena on raw. I could be wrong. But I see Taker vs. Jericho at mania. And Batista would be more likely to face someone like Kane or Matt Hardy at mania, I know that sounds so stupid, but what else can they do? Smackdown has such a small amount of face talent, they'd have to turn a top heel just for a Mania world title match to make sence.

Whoa guy... did you just say Batista vs Matt Hardy at Mania? While I believe (along with a lot of others I've noticed) that Matt is a great worker and definitely deserves a title opportunity, we both know good and hell well WWE isn't going to do that. Other than that, you're absolutely right, the top face talent on SD! is practically non-existent when Taker's out the picture and Mysterio going in for surgery. That's why I say JoMo might be elevated. You're theory is the only other option really but which main event heel could they turn at this point? Punk just went heel so it's too soon for him. And Jericho is getting so much heat that a face turn seems almost impossible. And... actually that's it. A returning Edge mayhaps?

John Morrison will win the World Title before Kofi Kingston, but I don't see it in either of their horizons right now. There's no denying that Kingston is being pushed, but he is nowhere near the level of being able to beat John Cena as a face, and that is where he has to be to win the title. I can see Cena holding the title until WrestleMania, then Undertaker keeping it warm for a while, before it goes to a heel, and then, inevitibly, HHH.

Morrison has a lot less to contend with. Batista will win the title in the next couple of months, and will probably make for a shit champion, like he always does. At that point, someone will have to take it off him, and while I don't think it'll be Morrison, the fluid nature of the division means that we may see Morrison win the title around September next year. The only way I see Kingston winning it first is if he is drafted to SmackDown before Morrison gets the chance.

Let me go with the obvious answer: Kofi.

Personally, I much prefer Morrison -- he's the total package among newer guys, in my opinion -- but it's already been clearly stated why Kofi is being pushed as he is. The WWE wants an African-American among their main event roster of performers, and Kofi is the one. Once he's done with his program with Orton, which should clearly establish him as capable of running with the big dogs, I see WWE moving him into World Title contention ASAP.

I'm going with Kofi here. He dropped the United States Championship just weeks before the Bragging Rights PPV to the Miz and right after it, he took on Randy Orton. Everyone has been surprised by this feud with Kofi dominating so far and holding his own. He's come a long way. Dropping his accent, taking on Legacy solo, and even beating down the Viper.

The title scenario is also better on Raw than SmackDown. Undertaker looks like he's holding the title past Wrestle Mania, so Morrison winning it anytime soon doesn't look like it's going to happen. Morrison has really done well as the Intercontinental Champion, but his title reign is going to be on hold a little bit longer. Kofi may pull and upset win by the Royal Rumble or have a nicely built up feud for the WWE Championship at Mania or shortly afterwards.

Although, pushing a Black wrestler to the Main Event because "WWE wants Main Eventers" and awarding Kofi the title because "WWE wants a Black WWE Champion" are two entirely different things. I never read anywhere where it was stated that Vince wants to actually give a Black wrestler a Heavyweight title.

With that being said, Kingston and Morrison are very comparable to each other, as these two seem to be two talents who have experienced Vince's renewed efforts into pushing the Midcard talents once again and making their titles mean something. So that makes this all the more interesting.

If I had to take a guess, I am going to say that John Morrison will actually capture a Heavyweight title before Kingston. I already think Morrison is going to lose the IC Title to Drew McIntire, and therefore be elevated to the Main Event. While I see Kingston in the Main Event on Raw and tied down with Main Event feuds, I actually see Morrison capturing the title first.

As far as Vince giving The Big One ... a Heavyweight title to a Black wrestler, I'll believe it when I see it. It needs to happen, absolutely -- but I'll believe it when I see it from Vince.

Morrison's going to have it. Remember, Jo-Mo was hot as hell a few months ago only to have to win the IC belt because of Mysterio's suspension, along with the weakening fan response to Ziggler. But then, he had to take the credibility that he had and use it to boost up the IC division a little bit more (although, they really need to start PPVing that belt to have it mean anything...). My guess, is Morrison loses the belt at TLC to more than likely McIntyre, and then goes on to feuding with Punk or capitalizing on the bitch smack fight between him and Jericho (which I could see that being the more likely when Jerishow loses their titles).

Kofi, I think may have a shot or two on TV like Morrison has had, but probably won't win it despite the breakthrough promos that have been going on lately. He's only just came on a hot streak, and if he wins it now? I see it being like Punk's old reign, where people like JBL (Orton) come out, claim he's not accomplished and a pure fluke, and then when he gets buried? Same deal, he'll need to go somewhere where the glass ceiling isn't made of bullet proof glass to break through and get to the top. Especially because Raw doesn't have that much in the way of potent heels in my eyes, with only really Legacy being the assholes at the top.

It may be morrison but I would say kofi. Kofi is already getting HUGE pops and people are tired of cena being champ! Someones gota take it from him soon. I wouldn't be surprised if sheamus won the title just cuz we don't see anything that's surprising anymore and that would be.

It's pretty hard to tell. While Morrison maybe deserves it more, being the more established superstar and having more credibility as a champion, Kofi is feuding with a major guy and has been pushed decently so I find it hard to tell.

As of right now, Kofi has more going for him and has the stage to prove himself. Morrison is with the IC title so he's doing great but isn't really being pushed towards the WHC yet.

With WWE though these things change so dramaticly that I find it hard to pick but as of right now, Kofi has the edge to become a world champ first.
