Who is/was the greatest martial artist in wrestling history?

Steve Blackman would whoop all their asses. He's the best, but in terms of like a professional mixed martial arts fight, I'd have to say it is a toss up between Brock Lesnar and Ken Shamrock.

Antonio Inoki.

He practically founded modern day MMA and has had a hand in teaching some amazing MMA fighters, the most well known being Lyoto Machida.

And out of the wrestlers mentioned in this thread, I think Steve Blackman was the only true Martial Artist in the group. All of the others were somewhat trained, but nowhere near experts at their respected discipline.

And wrestling has never been a good showcase for martial arts. I mean, seriously dude. Think before creating threads.

Why aren't Glacier and Ernest Miller on the list? They're legit unlike XPac and Steamboat. When Miller used to say he was a 3 time world Karate champion that was real. Not just to get him over. Ray Lloyd aka Glacier also has a decorated martial arts background.

I might have missed it but I only saw one post one MUTA. One of my all time fav's. Some of the things he did in the ring were breathtaking.
