Who ends up the World Champion after Survivor Series?

Folks, the ratings for RAW are in the tank. SmackDown's are near test pattern levels. They are nowhere near the numbers they were hoping for in regards to Network buys. Your #1 heel is out until next summer. You need SOMETHING to bring back the masses. How do you do this? A shocking development, that's how.

Forget Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler and Trips. Bryan would be a bad decision for business. Furthermore, he is NOT coming back anytime soon, if ever. EVen if he did, with his injury history they would be fools to put the strap on him. Ziggler can't move the needle. He should have gone to New Japan, where he would be well on his way to winning the IWGP strap. Stamford will NEVER give him another crack at the title. Trips is a lot of things, Mr. McMahon he is not. Many want the Authority gone, and some of you want to give him the strap? Sure, that'll boost ratings....for re-runs of Law and Order or NCIS. If Trips is the Authority of a sinking ship now, why put the belt on him?

As for others: Sheamus will win the strap EVENTUALLY via a cash-in. Sheamus is well liked in the back, and it might be the case for a cash-in around Rumble time. Ambrose may be over, but I do not think he will make the final. If he does, it is going to be "big deal". Same with Roman Reigns. If Reigns wins the strap, the silence will be deafening. First off, everyone saw it coming. Second, it will do NOTHING to move the ratings needle. He is headlining RAW and doing nothing for it NOW. What makes anyone think handing him a strap will make this any different?

SO, who wins the belt? the most consistent heel in the Company right now. A man who beat John Cena CLEANLY on TV. A man who has YET to put forward a bad performance. A man who has continually proven to be, like Daniel Bryan, a master of his craft AND can move that needle. Furthermore, it would add a "shock" element that nobody will see coming. That person is Kevin Owens.

Think about it: Who would see this coming? Kevin Owens beating Reigns for the strap. Rigns ain't going heel. He is just going to chase Owens for a while. Now, for those of you who is saying that it is too soon. If he was a face, I would agree with you. However, Owens is the most NATURAL heel in WWE right now. You NEED a #1 heel. I THINK Ambrose could turn. But, if he is wrestling vs Reigns, why even watch the match? The world would see it coming. An Owens title win and run would keep Reigns chasing for a few more months until WM32, where he is likely to beat Owens and win the strap.

Owens winning would be the best case scenario in this instance.

Triple H, huh? Honestly, I never even thought of him, but now that it's been brought up, I wonder how far the 'Desperate situations require desperate measures' adage extends in WWE nowadays.

Would it be that surprising if Vince McMahon told Paul Levesque at the time he stopped being an active performer and began his career in management: 'Keep yourself in reasonable shape......just in case."

Well, Triple H done done that. In fact, it's been recently reported he dropped some weight and is feeling pretty good. Would he take on an active role until Seth Rollins gets back and banishes Trips back to his corporate office?

I think he could do it.....and of course, he can have the writers fix things so he spends more time yelling at people in the ring than wrestling them so his body doesn't suffer extensive punishment.

I still say the big burden of replacing Rollins is going to fall on Roman Reigns, but if management doesn't feel he's ready, Triple H would be a mighty fine go-to guy.

Triple H and Stephanie are in phenomenal shape. Triple H could easily grab that title and become the number one heel until Wrestlemania. But I think it would be completely unfair to every younger guy in the locker room who are smacking their chops now that this big opportunity is open. I think they should really go with somebody BRAND NEW and build a new Super Face or Super Heel using the WWE Heavyweight Championship as fuel. Sure it's risky , and I'm sure John Cena's cell phone has been ringing to come back early. But WWE can create anyone they want right now. Even the jobbers can be built to superstardom right now with the belt as a ticket. The Seth Rollins injury could be a huge blessing for somebody other than Reigns or Ambrose, save those guys until the fans demand them.

Reigns made the most sense. All the momentum and the story with Rollins was finally going to have it's payoff. Reigns and Rollins could have feuded until Royal Rumble. Now with the Rollins injury, there is a major problem with Reigns winning; there is nobody he could face.

Now, you could still go with Reigns and just feed him an onslaught of villains until Lesnar returns. Makes sense and we will get entertaining matches. Or you can delay it a bit further. Reigns is nearly made, but your major need right now is a top villain to counter the vast number of popular heroes. The situation is perfect for Bray Wyatt. In one night, Bray destroys the Undertaker and his army, and wins the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. With that he instantly becomes the #1 villain in the company and someone who can carry that torch up until Wrestlemania.

A Roman turn, a Dean turn, Owens winning, that's nice but WWE has a major need. It just depends which need they value more.

I would've agreed with this a year ago when Ziggler was the hero of Survivor Series - The return of Sting -
Now, he's just right back where he was before that PPV. Right dead center of the card. The Rusev feud made it even worse for the guy. If WWE gave Ziggler main event time and treated the guy like the next Shawn Michael's he'd be having main event classics and wearing the WWE Championship. But somebody in creative or the higher powers doesn't exactly like the guy that much. So there he is, caught in a dumb feud with Rusev. Hopefully his feud with Breeze can amp both wrestlers up and refresh Zigglers current stale state.

His feud with Tyler Breeze is a dead end. Like you and I and others mentioned, last year Dolph Ziggler was the hero of Survivor Series, overcoming 3 on 1 odds and "eliminating" The Authority. It looked like WWE was FINALLY going to give him a main event push. Instead he was wasted in a nothing feud with Luke Harper, and then traded wins with Sheamus and Rusev for a while, and now he's feuding with a complete nobody.

Vince's continued hatred of Dolph Ziggler will forever leave him buried in midcard mediocrity.

I see 5 choices and here they are:
1. HHH keeping the Title in the Authority and you know that you can trust yourself to do the right thing. He now is the number 1 heel.
2. Roman Reigns he is the obvious choice but is he ready and will the fans accept him.
3. Dean Ambrose one of the fan favorites and during the tournament Dean gets a lot of obstacles thrown in his way but he comes out on top.
4. Cesaro I can see him winning it I believe he is ready this is the best time to push him lets here it for the Cesaro Section.
5. Roman Reigns (HEEL) a heel turn and an assist from the Authority in the final match vs. Dean or Cesaro.
I would like to see a heel Roman win the Title that just might help his major push to be the eventual face of the WWE just like Rock was.

I think the smart choice is to finally put it on Roman by turning him heel. I really think this could make for amazing television. Think about this for the coming months

Reigns vs Ambrose is the main event of Survivor series (assuming the tournament brings it down to 2 guys at SS) (If they have more than 2 guys i'm assuming Reigns and Ambrose will be apart of it)

Have The Authority ringside to see who will be the next guy to grab the strap because their "chosen one" is out.

Reigns has some sort of underhanded plot with Triple H planned out where if it looks like Dean is about to win, Triple H slides in the Sledgehammer for Roman to use while Triple H distracts the ref and Roman knocks Dean with it to turn heel and capture the belt. (He's already being booed right? Why not turn him heel and use the boos to their advantage)

Let Reigns hold it until Seth Rollins can return, they can show vignettes showing Rollins training to heal up, get stronger, get better to hype the fans that he might be returning soon. Then have Seth return (to which i'm sure the crowd will erupt for him to come back) to feud with The new Authority led by Roman Reigns and he can get the strap back after some chasing.

And for anyone saying "Roman's not ready, he sucks on the mic"
Sure his mic skills are lack luster, but so is Lesnars and people love him because Heyman does a great job and building him. So we can have Triple H be Reigns' mouth piece and build him up, and Reigns is solid in the ring so I have no problems there.

That's how I would play out SS and after (I know it's more than you asked for but I felt like sharing my idea lol)

I think it'll be Ambrose as a heel. Ambrose been teasing a heel turn and WWE seemed to invest so much in Reigns being their future top face, to turn him heel now would be a waste of their investment in him.
