Who do you want to see get pushed in 2012? (1 WWE and 1 TNA wrestler)

LODemolition

Championship Contender
WWE: Justin Gabriel

I think he'd be a great fit for the next IC Champ sometime after Mania and Rhodes is done feuding with Goldust, then ready to move on to the WWE Title picture (I believe he'll go to Raw in the draft). Gabriel's got the skills, the look, possibly even some mic work as they actually let him speak last week on Smackdown. Some might argue DiBiase would be the most logical choice for next IC Champ, but I just find him boring personally. Gabriel is much more well-rounded and puts on matches that I look forward to.

TNA: Zema Ion

Or Shema Xion, as he went by in Pro Wrestling Ohio (I live in Northeast Ohio and was priveleged to watch him wrestle in that company). Some might say he's caught a break already just by being signed by TNA. This is another guy who puts on entertaining X-Division matches and should eventually hold the title. They've finally got a pretty boy gimmick for him that works. He and Alex Shelley put on a nice match last night.

TNA - Austin Aries

I suppose you could say he is being pushed but I think he could be pushed further up the card. Maybe have him win the TV title and give it the sort of relevancy he's given the X Division title during a period where the division has lacked depth.

WWE - David Otunga

This was harder as right now I think WWE are pushing their best talent, so I went with Otunga who I think has improved all round and will win a mid-card title this year.

Jack Swagger in WWE:

He is a former world champion but WWE really hurt his credibility in 2011 by having him as just a mid-upper card jobber to the stars. He has so much potential in terms of size and athleticism. He's still young and would be a great star in WWE used in the right storylines. He just picked up the US Title recently so they started the push, they just need to continue it because he has so much going for him and could be amazing in the upper card world title picture.

As for TNA I'll go with Jesse Sorenson:

He'll be great in TNA. He's young and could be a top guy used right. He reminds me of a young Randy Orton.

In TNA I would like to see Austin Aries get a push, like the poster above said he is getting one in the X division now, but I would like to see him move up farther. He is unique and I really like his move set more than any wrestler I have seen in a while. Really good mic skills to, plays the cocky heel perfectly.
In WWE I would have to say Drew Mcintyre. I don't think we have scratched the surface on seeing what he can do. I think if used right he could be right up there with Cody Rhodes and Dolph Ziggler. He has put on good matches in the past and lately we don't see him at all or he is getting beat routinely on smackdown.

WWE:Kofi Kingston
Not exactly the norm answer most people would expect but I don't want to see Kofi get stuck in the midcard for the rest of his career and I really think that this is the year to do it, and the time to start it is this weekend. Kofi has always been a hell of a performer in the ring but in his feud with Randy Orton back in 2009 he showed us a new side of him that is not only impressive but a little scary. Pissed Kofi is quite the sight and I think that Elimination Chamber is just the place for it to happen, I expect to see him have a run in the match like Morrison did where he does all his crazy acrobatic stuff but then gets squashed, let the person who does this be The Miz. Then he can turn on the anger in a feud with a puppy with his tail between his legs Miz, destroy him and make a strong push for the WWE Championship. The guy needs to become legit, whether he wins a title or not this year he needs another Orton feud.

TNA:Bully Ray
The most underrated guy on the roster outside of Eric Young, Bully is in my opinion the top heel on Impact. Roode has been impressive since his turn and his title run but it's becoming more and more apparent every day that Bully deserves and is making his move on the main event, the guy is extremely entertaining on the mic and I think everyone's eyes have been opened on his matches since his epic brawl with AJ Styles. I spy him and Roode having a falling out soon, will he capitolize on that and take the title off Roode? I sure hope so.

This one is easy, Ziggler! he's already one of the best wrestlers in my opinion, he's easily the best seller in WWE, and always makes his opponents look good, and i am pleased and enjoy his matches 9 times outta 10, get vickie away from him though, i think vickie is one of the better managers in recent memory, probly the best. but i dont like main eventers having managers, i cant remember the last time he had a bad match, he always delivers on PPV's, so hopefully they give him MITB and have him cash it in, and give him a decent title reign, instead of that 10 minute reign he had, which dont even count in my book.

In the WWE I'd easily give my left nut for Skip Sheffield to be pushed straight to the moon. I don't know what it is about this guy, but I think he has it all. The look, he can wrestle a good style for a guy his size, he can talk on the mic. I think it's long overdue for this guy, I wanted him to win Tough Enough 4 when he was on it, let alone season 1 of NXT.

As far is in TNA, I'd have to say that I'd love to see Bully Ray get pushed. I used to think he was garbage, but then he adopted the Bully Ray gimmick and just got better. He's impressed me so much that I hope he wins the TNA title in 2012, and if he doesn't I will feel as if TNA has dropped the ball with him. Never thought I'd hear myself say that about Bubba Ray Dudley ten years ago.

My choices:

WWE: Cody Rhodes

I see big things for this guy. He has the intercontinental belt & he went over Booker T just recently & that's huge! To me charisama & personality as well has decent on the mic but he deserves an title. It'll truly pay umage to the Rhodes legacy if Cody gets a shot at a world championship.

TNA: Crimson

I know his undefeated streak isn't hitting folks as much as Goldberg's did but that's not my concern anyways. With his power he could make his way he can be a dominant player in TNA. Plus he's still fresh blood so that's another positive in itself. My hopes are that Crimson gets his name on the radar 'cause this guy has potential.

Let's see here.

WWE: I will go for Cody Rhodes, although I don't think it will happen due to his size but I think it would be fantastic, he has really come into his own as a wrestler, as a heel and as a great all around talent.

TNA: I'll agree with many of you that Bully Ray should be pushed, he has surprised me, ever since the Dudley's broke apart I figured they both would just sort of fade away but Bully Ray has proven to me that he can be just as good as a singles competitor as he was with Devon.

WWE

I’d like to see Jack Swagger pushed again. He looks brutal in the ring (in a good way) and oozes World Champion while he’s wrestling. Sure, his mic work could be improved but that’s minor. He could really benefit from a main event feud with someone like Jericho or Punk, someone who can make him look legit bad ass. Last time he was feuding with Show and at times Mysterio and it just wasn’t a good fit. My ideal scenario would be Cole leaving the announce desk to permanently manage Swagger. Cole generates so much heat and is very good in his heel role when speaking on the mic. It’s his announcing that gets tiresome but his promo’s in the ring are very good and would allow Swagger to draw more heat if they were paired together. Swagger’s in ring work is top notch and very much worthy of another world title reign but he’d need a quality opponent to make him look threatening. He needs to be that monster heel we all know he can be and given the right push I really think he could be a legit main eventer for years to come.

TNA

Bully Ray is hands down the best traditional heel in the business today. He’s in amazing shape right now and is really on top of his game. He should have a world title run at some stage this year. He is completely owning his character right now and generates so much heat simply by being a legit heel. There’s no tricks, just bad ass bullying and it’s incredibly entertaining. I’ve never been the biggest fan of his but after watching his progression the past 12 months I’ve been incredibly impressed with what I’ve seen. Everything from the look, his promos, his in ring work is main event calibre. I really want to see him have a run with the world title this year as a bad ass monster heel who can seriously bring back some kind of meaning to the world title by winning matches by being brutal, not sneaky. He is definitely someone I want to see pushed higher this year.

Cody Rhodes- this guy entertains me as a heel and his ring work is brilliant, he has the IC title, he's had his tag title reign, lets push this guy as one of the best cocky arrogant heels of his generation.

I dont actually follow TNA, so im gonna say jeff hardy as he is one of few wrestlers i know who works there, i may look into TNA at some point and edit this post accordingly if i see anyone who impresses

STRAIGHT UP.........
FOR WWE : CODY RHODES
He deserves to be a main event star and not and the mid carder or upper mid carder. He has excellent in-ring skills as well as good mic skills; but not pushed by company to that extent to get over on fan basis. Really his "DASHING' AND "MASKED" gimmick really made him what he is.... SO he needs a big push just as C M PUNK, WADE BARRETT.

FOR TNA : JEFF HARDY
He was used by WWE as only mid carder tag-team guy till 2002; then went onto become single star till 2006 only to go down ladder in his career. until finally picked back by WWE and the big hardy boyz reunion. So his "MAIN EVENT" STATUS was between end of 2009 to 2011 ( partly heel an partly face) but scewed their too........... NOW he deserves "THE LAST CHANCE" to really become what he was always made to be "champion".......

WWE- Dolph Ziggler: He is incredible in the ring, his mic skills have improved to the point where I feel he is one of the best in the company and everything about the guy just entertains me. I will be upset if a world title reign isn't in his immediate future.

TNA: Everyone seems to be saying Bully Ray which completely I agree with but I'l go with somebody different...

The Pope: I actually really enjoy the guy he is good in the ring, got bags of chairsma and is pretty good on the mic. I would like to see him back in the world title picture in 2012.

Dolph Zigler. The guy can wrestle hes one of the best I seen in years! He can talk, He got the look, He's no pun intended the total package. But some jack off like triple h or Stephine McMahon is gonna push some steroid jacked up freak. Sometimes i think Vince and Paul are a lil gay. But Zigler needs the push hes great. His match with John Morrison stole the show at Survivor Series.

Matt Morgan I really don't know why? I'm not a fan of TNA really could careless I only like a few guy's on the roster.Bobbie Rood, Angle so I'm lost for words.

WWE - Tyler Reks
i dont care so much about Hawkins, but i like Reks look and he is a good wrestler with nice moves. unless Reks & Hawkins are going to try harder to be the next New Age Outlaws, i would like to see Reks paired with someone else like Kofi or maybe Seth Rollins. And i would like to see more of his modified Burning Hammer

TNA - Kaz
Has always had potential, but injury usually kills his momentum. Had great matches with Kurt Angle & Christian Cage, i would like to see Kaz get a good push after this feud with AJ

WWE - Jack Swagger. This guy is a MITB winner and former World Heavyweight Champion. He has so much potential and being paired with Vickie and Dolph should instantly be shooting him up the card, allowing Vickie to build a nice stable of heels. Instead they have him losing the US title to Santino...

TNA - Zema Ion. I've watched as much of his old footage as I could find, and he's so fun to watch. The work he's done on the mic in the short time he's been in TNA has been great. I don't think he'll take the title off of Austin Aries (who would've been my TNA pick had he not been in the main event of last weeks Impact Wrestling) at Victory Road, but hopefully they give them a decent amount of time and continue to use him afterwards.

TNA personally id love to see Kazarian get a big push hes been x divison champ many times and i think hes a really good wrestler who just needs a little bit of mic work but id say maybe put ric flair as his manager (flair with gunner is pointless to me) and i think kazarian could if booked right bring creditabilty to the TV Title then move onto the main event scene (maybe winning the next BFG series if thats back?)

WWE for the love of god push Justin Gabriel into the IC Title picture! he impressed me big time on NXT season 1 and for being a male model before joining FCW hes become pretty damn good the fans love his finisher and the women think hes hot plus hes got talent why not give him a ladies man type gimmick (if he can stay face with it hes best as a face) and go back to being Justin Angel like he was in FCW and he could be the man who finally beats cody rhodes when its time for cody to drop the belt and begin his main event push

Because TNA and WWE are the only companies out there...

Anyway, here's who I think should be pushed.

WWE
Ted DiBiase - It's now or never. Ted's been floating in and out of the good favors of WWE for some time now and I really don't know why. He's got a lot of great charisma and his mic skills are passable. Even pushing him to a mid-card title would be worth while if WWE would just do it. They had the chance last year with the Rhodes-DiBiase feud but they didn't. They again had the chance with the DiBiase Posse but instead they stuck him with Hunico and we know where that went.

TNA
Magnus & Joe - TNA should make these two the best tag team in their roster. I'm not talking about for a month title reign, I'm talking about for a year long reign minimum. Joe and Magnus are a tag team's tag team... meaning they're a perfect team. TNA has gold in their hands at this moment and need to do something with it.

ROH
Kenny King - As much of a fan as I am for All Night Express, it appears to me that ROH is never going to push them to the titles. That sucks because they're way better than the Briscoes, WGTT is getting annoying, and eventually the Young Bucks will have some kind of problem and leave. So if they're not going to push them as a team, split ANX up and push Kenny King as a solo star. Right now, Kevin Steen is the only full faced heel in ROH... give Kenny King some of that heat, put him with Steen, and let them become a power trip like team. Kenny King has the charisma, the mic work, and the ring ethics to be ROH's next poster boy. He's got a great poise about him that seems perfect.
