Who Did WCW Actually Create?

It's pretty laughable to watch people try and poop on what WCW did. Ric Flair was the king of the NWA, but he became a NATIONAL name in WCW. Same for Sting. Same for guerrero. Even that scumbag murdering fuck Benoit. Jericho. the list goes on. Without WCW, these guys are nobodies. They'd never have gotten signed by WWF without WCW. So yes, WCW "made" them, by the borderline ridiculousness of this thread.

In reality, wrestling promotions only provide guys a forum, and they make themselves. If wrestling promotions could "make" people, Glacier would be superstar. So would Shelton Benjamin, who despite IWC whining was pushed heavily more than once, and just didn't take because the guy has the personality of a rock.

Either way, WCW made Sting and Ric Flair the same way WWE made Steve Austin and Eddie Guerrero. Can't have it both ways.

really? so your claiming that Flair and Sting weren't nationally known before WCW? intersting. NWA was the second largest promotion in the 80s seen in just about every market that the WWF was at that time. Flair was on the cover of every wrestling mag about every other month. same with Sting. how where they not nationally known before WCW?
