Who Best Wrestler In The World Today?

I don't think you can just choose one wrestler. There are many good wrestlers, Chris Benoit and Kurt Angle have great techincal talents, Triple H is a good wrestler and entertainer, and than you can even talk about past wrestlers too.

Benoit is great Wrestler because he is Canadian.
Angle is great because he is an Olympic Gold Medalist.
Triple H is the total package period.

Add more to your post, saying Benoit is great because he is a Canadian is not good enough, same for Angle. Please back up your statements with more that a simple statement.

If your talking wrestler the are three. Chris B., Brett Hart, and of course Kurt Angle. If Bret could still wrestle, It would nice to see Angle VS Brett

Not really the best explanation for why Cena's a good wrestler. I would completely diagreee with you. Just because he's "hot" (which, he isn't anymore) doesn't mean that he deserves to be put over greats like Kurt Angle and Chris Benoit.

Wrestling-wise, present day-wise and new talent-wise I'd say Shelton Benjamin. I'm glad to admit I'm a total Shelton mark. He's a great high-flyer, risk-taker and mat-wrestler. If he were great on the mic then he'd be the whole package. To even suggest that he's not as good as Cena is an insult. Shelton would thrive in a more wrestling orientated promotion such as TNA.

ya i agree, ive been waitin for Benjamin to come to TNA n have a match with AJ syles.

thats would be a good match and i 4got about shelton benjamin..he is the total package. a pure athlete, trained by kurt angle, good talent. btu misused on raw. they would use him as a main eventer in tna.

On pure wrestling ability I would say its Kurt Angle. But overall I have to go with HHH as the most consistant performer out there, followed by Undertaker

shelton would not main event in TNA but he would be a great edition to the X-Division.

Pure wrestling ability it is Angle or Benoit, Hart is still alive but he can't wrestle I don't know if that eliminates him from this or not, but he is still "in the world today." As far as mixing entertainment with great wrestling, which WWE is known for, Angle is in there and then you have to include guys like Michaels, HHH, and The Rock (once again, he is alive, but he doesn't wrestle, so I don't know if you are including him or not.)

The most exciting wrestler would be Rey Rey, A.J. Styles, Chris Daniels, or Samoa Joe.

i argee with you on so many levels, shelton benjamin is my favorite wrestler right now he has everything going for him he just needs a personality, not to say he doesn't have one what i meant to say is a more demanding personality i think right now people give him to much heat for now being great on the mic but i think he's okay on the mic he gets to the point and it's short and sweet, there are other wrestlers in the wwe that don't have half the talent of benjamin but they get pushed for having "the look" or being entertaining on the mic and to me that's just plain dumb i think if shelton was more colorful and entertaining on the mic he would be the wwe flagship wrestler, as far tna i think he would be treated with a lot more respect over there but i think he would get in the same trouble in tna as in wwe tna is catering to the more entertainer characters for there heavyweight division and the x-division is not getting the respect it deserves lately so shelton would still end up being a mid-carder,the reason i could not choose shelton for my pick as best wrestler in the world today is because the missing mic skills he's nowhere near the entertainer/wrestler aka the total package kurt angle or hhh is there for i had no choise but to pick kurt angle to me he is a better wrestler then hhh and is more entertaining on the mic but hhh comes in a close second.

I'd say shelton benjamin. He's a really talented high flier and mat wrestler. Also he is one of the most underused wrestlers in the WWE. He is also such a great worker because he is one of the best and he hasn't complained, not even once. If he worked on his mike skills he would be the next rock(yeah i said it). But i think that he would be used a lot better in TNA. He would be absolutely awsome in the X Division.

shelton right now on the mat would kill angle so shelton gets my vote

maybe you should do as you say and stop spaming I said shelton cause wrestling wise he can go toe to toe on the mat with benoit and and he can T bone the bigshow and he is the most athlectic wrestler you can put this guy in the ring with any wrestler

Tough question but i'd pick Kurt Angle

Kurt is a fine wrestler and he has put on some of the greatest matches i've ever seen but if it was the greatest of all time i'd pick Hogan but because of these day i would choose Angle

I think that the best wrestler in the business today would have to be either HHH or Ric Flair. I mean both of these guys can put on great matches with pretty much anyone they want to. I mean HHH is the King Of Kings and Ric Flair is the Dirtiest Player In The Game. You cant say that either one of them dont deserve to be in the elite!

chirs hero or CM pink or CHirstoper dainls mean these 3 guys put ROH on the map so that show how great they are i can not wait to see what the future holds for them

i know this has nothing to do with the thread but i thought you were edge's #1 fan shouldn't he be your pick and p.s. it's cm p-u-n-k.

the best wrestler today is not really hard to choose. it i HBK. who puts on better matches no one. HHH good matches but not good enough angle great wrestler sometimes he is boring its true its damn true. undertaker awesome wrestler just not as good as Shawn

I think, at this very minuite, it is hard to beat edge. I dont think there is anyone in the wwe/tna or any of the indies who holds a light to him. Hes been in some of the best matches of the last 5 years, every match is always a classic, his mike skills are superb. Some of the promos hes cut on cena/flair/foley/hardy have been classics, and hes just so inovative, no match is the same. His look is also superb, he just has the total package. I think CM punk will be on a smiliar ground in a few years, as long as he gets a good push within ECW.
In terms of TNA, Its hard to go past Christian Cage. He should be where edge is in the wwe right now if t wasnt for the auful writers. Whilst id say AJ/Samoa joe/Daniels all are more entertainign, visually, cage is the complete package,a pleasure to watch, and can cut the best promos in TNA.
Also, in terms of the indies, Teddy Hart could be a contender if he wasnt as much of an a**hole.

id have to go with HBK ... he has been in the best matches of all time (ex. WM12 w/ Bret, first hell in a cell with taker) he has great mic skills, cuts great promos, and can put anyone over .. kurt angle is a great wrestler but isn't the entire package considering he is horrible at putting people over ... i would however put HHH in a very close second to HBK for the same reasons it's just that i like HBK more and then i would put Angle
