Where is the Chris Masters Push?

I waited a while to post this because the thing i am about to state may happen and i would look pretty stupid. But it has not happened. What? The Chris Masters push. I heard that after wrestlemania 27 that WWE was going to give him a push into the mid card. Now, it has been over a month after wrestlemania 27 and i have not seen anything from him. So far he has just worked a dark match on raw, which at least he won. He had been doing great on superstars, he was the first and only one to beat Tyler Reks one on one and beat him three more times after that. He has the physique for more exposure, a bad history with drugs that i do not thinkl the audience cares about anymore, and the only thing he needs is a better finisher. Do you agree with me and why do you think we have not seen much of masters lately?

I think its an absolute disgrace that WWE arent pushing him, at least turn him back heel to give him his old persona which gives him some credibility and maybe a fued with kofi for the US title? even a fued with rey would do him the world of good, look at cody!

I think his push is scheduled to begin immediately after the conclusion of the Evan Bourne and Zack Ryder pushes.

Let's face it, there's no Chris Masters push coming. Too much risk, not enough reward. He already has two violations of the Wellness Policy and he has already been future endeavored once. He may get the occasional glimpse at the mid card, but there's no sustained push coming. I hope he is happy with his current role in WWE because I don't see it changing any time soon.

i heard this Before The Royal Rumble and i thinked that they will have his push after Royal Rumble and have a place in the 6 man Elimination chamber in the PPV with the same name but noo i didn't see THAT push i was waiting also but i think now it's toooo late for his push because
1) he is on RAW now and he has no place there
2) his history drugs
3) there is many who deserves a push more than him on RAW like Drew Mcintyre for example

so i think that his push is never going to happen at least not yet

The Chris Masters push was a RUMOR. For all we know that was never the plan. Maybe it was and they felt from The Royal Rumble to WrestleMania that Masters wasn't working hard enough, or another Superstar took that spot. I don't know. But we shouldn't take every rumor placed on the internet as fact until it happens.

I'd love to see him move up a bit. But I don't see him in the main event. I never did. That's just one man's opinon, I guess...

Who Cares?!!! Does anyone honestly see anything in this guy? Anyone have a great memorable moment that Chris Masters created?...The guy hasn't shown anything other than his performance enhanced physique. He has yet to show me any charisma and has not had one memorable match. He is a waste of time. He has nothing to offer. He is just another body. Although I think he does have some wrestling ability, I have no reason to watch or get behind this guy. He is just a very plain and average guy who happens to have a nice big physique. There are too many guys like him that they try to build and it rarely works out. Unfortunately, you have to have charisma in this business and that is something he does not have. I would rather see a push of a zach ryder, dolph ziggler, Mcantyre, Rhodes, or Morrison before they even think about pushing Masters.

By the way, this was just a rumor that was reported on here. That does not mean it is for sure going to happen. Do you believe everything that is reported online? A lot of these reports and rumors are from someone who heard it from someone who knows someone that knows someone that has a friend that knows someone in the business who heard it from someone. Just because you read it online does not mean its going to happen. haha I remember when the wwe was supposed to change their logo a while ago. Has that happened yet?

I do remember that there was a report that Masters was gonna be pushed after Wrestlemania but as we know, plans always change in the WWE and sometimes at the last minute. For all we know, any plans for a Masters push were scrapped or there weren't any plans to push him in the first place. The sad truth is that not everyone is gonna taste success in the WWE. Masters hasn't been remotely interesting ever since he was in the main event scene in 2005 and sporadically fighting for the WWE title and holding his little Masterlock Challenge. Masters looks impressive for sure and is decent in the ring but let's face it. If WWE had any plans to push Masters, chances are they would've pulled the trigger by now. I'm not saying there's no chance of him being pushed in the future. The man is still young and has a great physique but the odds are very slim because as mentioned earlier, pushing him is high risk, low reward due to his multiple Wellness Policy violations. It can still happen but not likely anytime in the forseeable future.

I think he is having the push...on superstars, Really think about it. WHAT WAS HE DOING?
Him being impressive on Superstars is a step in the right direction.
He's young, i'm sure if he can keep the look without the dro he should be able to be an upper-midcarder in like a year or 2.

Unless you work closely with creative from WWE, you can't say that he was meant to be getting a push because of a report from the internet. Its not always right. I read back in 2004 that Sean O'Haire was about to recieve a big push as the undertakers understudy...

Not everything you read is correct, and as someone else stated, if it was correct, plans could easily change.

you also have to think that Whoever these sources are that give these reports out, could be doing it just for the hell of it, they have nothing to report so hey, lets make some crap up. Its what happens. Not all the time, But it can, has, and will always happen. Thats why i read wrestling websites and never give my hopes up when i see something that i will look forward to.

Seriously? See, this is what's wrong with the IWC. Seriously. They believe their own BS.

Some clown comes up with some baseless rumor, no sources, no proof, nothing, and people actually BELIEVE IT! What?? And then when it doesn't happen, people STILL think it was true!!! They act like it was the WWE that changed their plans, or the WWE was the one that released in the rumor! I remember last year, WrestleZone reported that the WWE had planned a major angle for Raw, and after nothing happened, somebody came on here and was like "Where was the major angle they promised us??"

It's the same thing here. There's about a 2% chance that they ever had any plans to push Chris Masters, and a 98% chance the report was nonsense. My favorite is when people get something wrong and still try to defend it, by saying "oh, well the WWE is known for changing their minds" or "the WWE likes to change things when it leaks out." Give me a break. When you get something wrong, man up and admit it.

Before the draft when Masters face Drew. Masters came out to a better pop than Drew. Now if it was a real pop than the fans did that on their own obviously...if it was a piped pop then hey the WWE must want you to believe Masters deserves that response right?

Have we really seen Drew yet? I mean, like something that makes you think WOW! Drew is getting pushed on RAW...I dont think so.

Give it some time. If one is coming it will come but not days after the draft ...and not days after a PPV either....you have to be patient and give Masters an opening.

Look I like Chris Masters, but him not getting pushed isn't something to get all up in arms about. Masters was interesting a few years back when he was involved in the main event scene, but now he just isn't as over as he was. All he will be remembered for is bouncing his boobs up and down to the tune of a song. Masters has the look, but he lacks the mic skill and personality to really get over in the midcard. I just don't see Masters getting that push and it isn't something we should be upset about as there are plenty of guys who can do the role he'd be given.

He pretty much ruined any chance of a lengthy career when he got that suspension.
WWE is trying so hard to alienate themselves from steroids that it's actually a wonder Christ Masters appears on television still.

I read that they were pushing him and I was hopeful that they would but that doesnt mean I believe everything I hear..I just think that they should push him. I think its a shame he hasnt been used. Im a huge fan of masters always have been well not wen he was all roided out but they drug test now right?? I dont think he needs to change his finisher but it wouldnt hurt him to use some sort of slam like his sky high spine buster i love that move. I would put him WITH T Rex and form a tag team...but they dont care about tag team wrestling anymore. I dont think the fans care about the roids hes pretty over honestly...listen to his pops during superstars..ive seen him live too and the fans love him in my opinion..Id love to see him fued with zeke or even ryan give him a push why not!? ..ps christian rules!!

I think Chris Masters should become this bad ass face that goes around "breaking necks" of the RAW heels with his masterlock ! For example last monday R-truth "injured" morisson's neck so they have masters go after r-truth for hurting his best friend/training partner...end result breaks the neck of r-truth and then sets his sights for people like miz and alberto del rio

If you look at The Masterpiece from when he debut and now you can tell he's no longer on the roids as they are illegal when it comes to pro sports now. For example look at "The Total Package" Lex Luger from when he had a roided out body and look at he now he looks like a cruiserwieght. Give his push time if it happens it happens. Plus Drew is now tag teaming with Swagger which looked like a good team w/ their matching colors. Bobby Lashley killed the Masterpiece's push.

I can never take Chris Masters seriously again after that dancing tits gimmick he had. Worst gimmick ever, and I think it ruined his chance at any future success in the wrestling industry. I was happy when Masters came back and I thought he had the potential to be something. I don't watch Superstars and it's nice to hear that he's getting better in the ring, but I think that joke gimmick ruined him and I highly doubt he'll ever be able to recover from it.

It would be nice to see, but for some reason I think Masters has already reached his ceiling. He has a well documented history with substance abuse and I feel like Vince sees him as more of an after thought than anything else these days. If he isn't pushed with this move to Raw then I wouldn't count on it anytime soon.

It all depends on what you consider a push. I doubt he's gonna be in the hunt for any title anytime soon. He fell out of favor with the WWE with his violations and unless you are an incredible draw like Hardy was, you don't comeback from that. I think if you are a Masters fan, you should be happy that he's not jobbing like some of the Superstars are doing now.
