• Xenforo Cloud has scheduled an upgrade to XenForo version 2.2.16. This will take place on or shortly after the following date and time: Jul 05, 2024 at 05:00 PM (PT) There shouldn't be any downtime, as it's just a maintenance release. More info here

What's your theme song?

It might be a little Undertaker, but I'd opt for Hell's Bells by AC/DC. Part of it is because it's the song that the Devils come out to before their games, but also because it's just a fucking awesome pump up song. I could totally imagine coming out to that song for a fight.

Well, my dad passed away a while ago, and my theme song would be "Never Gonna Be Alone" - by Nickelback. Watch the video, it explains why. (And plus, I love Nickelback, :p)

Honarable Mentions:
Any Eminem song.
Any Taylor Swift song. (I'm a girl, okay? I listen to some pop-ish music.)

So apparently i'm under some sort of death threat from SSC.

I always have liked this song. I don' know why. I just feel close to it. I've always thought of this song as some sort of tribute from me to chris benoit to the fact that i listen to this song constantly. The lyrics inspire a care free life without any pressure which is sometime i would have.

I had to post this song, because I love dancing like a fool whenever it comes on. If I get bored at home,I just put this on and dance my little life away:lmao:

I used to have this vision of a character I'd play, but he was too babyface for my own liking. That guy used P.O.D.'s "Lights Out" as his theme. It's a great babyface theme and would probably be my theme song if I was a major league closer as well.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-sqkgDoE5BE

Now, I have moved on from that song, though it is quite good. My new theme song is better I think, and one that just makes me want to go nuts. It is the anthem for fighting back and kicking ass in all aspects of life and whether you are fighting the good fight or the bad fight, it works. That song is "Riot" by Three Days Grace and there is no better song that hasn't been a wrestling entrance.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtjUc5GXY3E

Now tell me that song doesn't inspire you! It is forever my theme song and would work whether I was face or heel. It is mine, so be jealous.

Well mine is Lady Gaga Monster. Its a very good song and I listen to it when I am exercising and when I am on my X-Box 360 playing games. Its the best song out there.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1eK7RCmR-9I

Also it gives me the it factor when I want to win for some reason I don't think there is a better song in the world.

Well, I gotta say, I got a couple of ''theme'' songs for myself, and they really dont have much personal identity reasons, but they do indeed have specific reasons.

This has always been the song Ive wanted for a theme if I was a wrestler, and since..THAT wont happen. Like any real gamer, you put yourself in a video game and live out your fantasies in the digital world. Ive had a CAW named ''Lestat'' that Ive used since No mercy and through ALL the smackdowns to date, and when we FINALLY were able to customize themes, I got my digital wrestling dream (Im a loser...I know )

Anytime Im near water, walking or driving. I ALWAYS have this song in my head.

Not only does this make ANY tekken fight ten times better, its a great work out song

Absoluely wonderful thread choice, SSC. Sorry it took me so long to get here, family and all that good rubbish. However, you now have my undivided atten-Squirrel!

Anyway, my own theme music... Well, it can really vary at times, really. It all depends on the mood I'm in, and how I'm particularly feeling at the moment. That said, I think this is actually my theme music. Hope this doesn't fall upon gimmick infringement here...

I've always loved the intensityu of this song, ever since I heard Kane first walking out. There's actually a layer of dependency, of want in the voice, but it's submerged under a context lof anger and violence the likes of which is somewhat haunting, yet somewhat soothing. Yes, Kane as soothing, I supress plenty of my weaknesses and want with anger and perhaps even destruction. Mind you, I'm not seven foot and three hundred pound, but the overall intensity, when angry enough, creates a mood in which is quite a bitch and a half to take.

Great thread, SSC. Really is

First off I gots to give it up to my man Twiztid Essex for running an absolute muck threw the music section this morning, I'll tell you it warms my heart to see so much action in the music section.

Secondly I must give it up to everyone who made an effort to post in this thread, and to anyone who went out of their way to do so, I thank you. In all my time posting in the music section, this has to be the first time I saw a thread exceed 30 posts in a 24hr period, so for that I also thank you.

Now that I got that out of the way, I thought I'd stop in and give you guys another theme song for me. So my last choice was my theme for smoking the glass pipe, and then I had to give you a different weed song by the same artist, well we're not going to stray to far from the marijuana fields in this post either.

Thankfully I'm not one to sit at home and smoke by myself(not all the time anyway), I have my fellow stoner bro who has been smoking by my side for over five years, and during that time we slowly started to build a habit of going on drives for no other reason that to smoke weed.

These drives started to evolve themselves, it started out as a 25 minute drive down a stretch of private roads, well, as I got more involved with music the drives became about getting stoned and listening to new tunes while going from 25 minute to anywhere from one to two hours. With this much extra time in the car, we had to smoke more, and to retain smoke, we would hotbox as we drove. Now any experienced pot head knows that you'll lose smoke at a faster pace if you drive while hotboxing, well if your driving an old shitty Saturn than duct tape should solve any and all problems.

I'm sure your saying, "Wow, cool story SSC, but what the fuck does this have to do with your theme song."

Let me tell you, or rather I'll let the music tell you.

Shlohmo - Hot Boxing the Cockpit

Thanks for the Shout out SSC, I'm gonna do the best I can to help the revival of this forum section, I love music more than wrestling to be honest.

So what the hell, Ill throw out some more themes while Im here. I gotta day off today, so Im gonna be posting up and down the music section.

Many DBZ fans know this song as being Brolis american SSJ theme from his first movie. Pantera fans know it as being from their much MUCH under appreciated album Great southern Trendkill. 10's, this song is intense as much as its brooding. Its over looked on the album itself due to the prefection that is ''Floods'' but this is such a great song to listen to when your driving down the road, where theres hardly any streetlights, and the yellow lines seem to ride like guitar hero tracks

Mine would be the Navy Seals Theme by Hans Zimmer from the score of the motion picture The Rock.

Because everything in my life is this epic, and who wouldn't want even the most mundane aspects of their life to seem movie-esque like this?

Just typing here makes it seem like I'm a hacker penetrating the deepest levels of the NSA databases while this plays!

Well I'm back with a few more songs, the first one is one of my favorite songs of all time. When I hear it, I feel like a fucking ninja, or a samurai about to chop some shit up.

Up next is the lovable Mac Dre, and "I Need An Eigth". I can really connect to this song on a personal level.

While a lot of songs pop into my head that describe my personality, I think it's two that really just get me when I have my good days and bad. The first:

I think the song personifies me when I'm in a good mood. I think it gives off the image of a young, brash hero which perfectly fits my face role.

Now the second:

When I'm in a bad mood, I could care less about anything other than myself and I just want to be left alone. This song personifies those feelings from its dark lyrics and somber sound.

Because I love SSC my first return post won't be TNA related.

My average day consist mostly of touching myself in public places, and what better music to go along with those perverse acts than:

If you're wondering why it's so fast, well, I'm not gentle. But it goes well with everything I do, so that's why I chose it as a general theme.

For those moments where my penis and hand aren't as one:

Driving: The first song I pop in before I even leave my driveway is

Because I thoroughly enjoy singing it very loud at people who have there windows rolled down. That and while driving it juices me up just enough that I don't hold up the lane, but not enough that I'll start cutting people off for the fun of it.

playing Video Games:

Because shooting people in the face with this song on loop makes me smile every time. It builds up very well and truly makes the seething rage for myself shift towards other very well.

Casual walking:

The world around me never looks more visually stunning and satisfyingly joyful then when I'm listening to the melody of this song or any other Dragonforce song (they are all basically the same).

Man,If I had to pick a theme song
I'll pick something that fits my persona and taste in music
My best pick for right now is Dead Memories by Slipknot

Excellent, much love to my azn amigo Tiger for making his epic posting return in my new awesome music thread.

Now for a little fun. I've enjoyed everyone's themes that they've picked for themselves, but as you all know, SSC is an innovator of excellence, and I'm going to show you that the music section doesn't have to be a bore, and some fun can be had; because in all honesty, I find it a little ironic that the music section is so serious. Music represents fun for me, and I enjoy a serious conversation as much as the next intellect, but when it comes to music I like to have a good time.

Now in honor of the great Tiger and his epic return to my thread, I've resurrected an absolute classic gem to be his Return To WZ Theme. I remember listening to this dope rhyme in middle school, and I really wish I could still pick up a hamburger for 29¢, at McDonald's Baby!

Much Love Tiger <3

Now since I'm here, I may as well do one for myself as well. As most of you know I make my home in the great(est) state of California, and have that West Coast love pumping though my veins. Now I listen to a whole lot of music produced on the West Coast, but there is only one that I can think of that I would want to represent my West Coast way of life. The artist at hand is Andre Nickatina, who just so happens to be my favorite rap artist as well, and the reason I picked an artist instead of a song for this post is simple, I couldn't choose just one song, so now I will bring you my many theme songs that represent my West Coast Bay Area way of life.

Listening to those songs will not only better your life, but you'll also feel enlightened and empowered as well. :rasta:

You know, it says I can post more than one, so why the heck not.

Be As, by Prozzak

Be As is a pretty corny song. Prozzak (or Simon & Milo as they are known in America) is a pretty corny band. They are band consisting of two Canadians singing poppy songs about getting dumped in fake ambiguous European accents. It's pretty bad, but pretty good in its own way. And I love them.

I heard this song on the Disney Channel back when I was about 9, if that. In fact, I may have been 7. I was at a friend's house, and the main reason we noticed the song was because we were immature and were laughing over the word "gay" in the chorus. I never knew the band or the song name, but the melody stuck with me through the years, resurfacing in my mind at the strangest times, until I finally decided to try my hardest to find it.

Long story short, I did, and finally I could listen to the song and hear the lyrics properly for the first time. I was blown away. It was corny, it was stupid, but it worked. I really think this song helped shape me into the person I am today, extremely tolerant of just about everything. This is my go-to theme song for when I'm feeling down, because I know with the amount of history I have of this song, the nostalgia, the bouncy sound and lyrics, I can count on it to pick me up again.

---------------

SSC told me I should post a theme song for another poster on here. I think that's a pretty cool idea, so I will. And because I like him so much, I think I'll do a theme for him.
For Smooth Sexual Chocolate, I pick Ganja Man by Aphrodite

I think there is one thing everyone knows about SSC: He smokes weed. I don't remember where I found this song, probably during my random crawls through Youtube. I was originally going to post this in the Marijuana Anthems thread, but I think it works well here. ;)

For some reason, I just think that this song is the song that encapsulates me the best. Initially, I hated this song but the more I listened to it and took in the lyrics and the beauty of the music, I realised that this song is my theme.

Seriously, when you listen to the lyrics, I like to think that I can relate to them. I think this song talks about being brave and standing up to the challenges that fall in front of you. It tells us that no matter what hurdle you come across, you can just jump right over them. It also tells us that we should &#8220;stand up for what is right&#8221; and &#8220;fight for the weak&#8221;. Now, I am no Florence Nightingale but I do like to think that I am a person who will fight for the people who cannot do it for themselves. Whether that is in the work-place or in my casual life.

I am far from a hero but the ideal mix of rock music and the awesome lyrics just make this an absolute dream to behold. Since it was released, it has been firmly fixed at the top of my iTunes library and looks to be staying their for a long time. No other song even comes close to describing me if this doesn&#8217;t.

Dammit, Dave! That's exactly what I was gonna say! I just love that song, it captures my meaning in life: fight as hard as you can, whenever you can. I've even been using it as my entrance track in SvR10 and I'm planning on using it for a long time to come.

For me I think it would be the Ben Folds Five's "Steven's Last Night in Town."

This is me at a typical party. I tend to meet groups of people, impress them with stories that are partially fabricated, flirt with the girls, get in trouble for something I say, and then wear out my welcome.

:( Those are all negative. What about a good day for LR79??? I would like to know what would be your theme music say,if our boy Striker came along and said hi? I imagine it would be something upbeat and poppy for the sake of being pointlessly poppy LOL something like...

I would say a poppy/happy day...

Happy day themes...

BoyHitsCar- Love Fury Passion Energy...sorry to be cliche...but my nickname is obviously Lita amongst all my friends, but sumthing bout that tune just makes me feel like getting up and being wild and crazy with myself. I just wanna wrestle with someone. :p

Sexy day..
Christina Aguilera/Lil Kim/Mya/Pink- Lady Marmalade… Dude…this song just gets me in DA MOOD….even if my sexy Striker teacher would be comin on by. Satin sheets, magnolia wine, the list goes on, granted, I’m not the biggest fan of all the singers, the beat gets me going, plus the movie was pretty good.

Sexy Day II
Lady Gaga-Love Game… Okay…this song has SOO many overtures in it. So many innuendos, that I go crazy for it. Let’s take a ride on your disco stick…YES!! That song speaks my language. Gaga is in tune with the internal freak in her. It’s a song bout getting bizzy. I like it when you can use a song to just say “Hey…let’s GO!”

First and foremost you gotta rep where your from. I have not lived in D-Town for a few years now, but I will always have love for the 313. This shit right here gets my blood pumping and makes me proud to be from MOTOWN.

The next song I felt I had to post, is my favorite Marijuana Anthem and you should check that thread out if you like to smoke the hippie lettuce, I'll post the song here for those who are to high to open another page.

My final theme song for the day is one that makes me feel like I was a kid again.
A few of you on here probably never saw or even heard of this show, but thanks to the power of the internet it will live forever.

:worship:

A few others I tend to dig for 'feel good themes' for me when I'm feeling a little hillbilly/rockabilly **maybe not all are rockabilly-ish, but they are when I'm in the drinking mood... :p **

Ram Jam's- Black Betty- Who doesn't dig that song!? I love it every time I hear it.

Saliva's "Ladies and Gentlemen" - It gets me in the mood for a huge event. I always think WM23. I think GRAND stage of anything.

Rev Theory- Hell Yeah-- I am in love with this band's fast songs. These guys are amazing live. My friends have seen them everytime they come through KC. My ultimate wish is to see them.

Bodies-Drowning Pool-- I always think good ol EC-Dub. I get in the mood for good ol fashion hardcore times. I miss those days.

Kid Rock- All Summer Long-- Something about this song, I love hearing it, and it doesn't even have to be summer. But it has a catchy hook. I love the riff he took from Warren Zevon. This is a great tune.

Breaking Benjamin-I Will Not Bow-- Killer Band, great tunes. I love the first cd, and this newer cd is just a great.

Hold on. I'm thinking. Gotta think of the songs that really speak to my psychological misgivings.

Lonely Mode

Pearl of the Stars, Coheed and Cambria

It's just a really sad song. While I haven't given it enough thought to hash out what the song means in terms of the Coheed and Cambria universe, the meaning on the surface is present enough.

The singer is torn over the pain and departure of his love. He still holds some guilt over something that happened, as shown in the lyrics

I'd give you everything
if only I'd have known you'd take it
but you don't, cause you're you
That's why I'll always love you
My Pearl of the Stars

Maybe he didn't know what was wrong until it was too late? Maybe he didn't know exactly what to do to fix the problem until she was already too long gone?

Either way, the song is incredibly depressing. And the only outlet the song gives you for the feeling is the love the singer feels for this girl. His Pearl of the Stars. If you were lonely before you listened to this song, prepare to feel like taking a knife to your stomach. This song can make you hurt if you let it.

I'm Going To Fuck Something Up

As a virtue of being me and having the brain I have, I get angry. Incredibly angry. Violently so if I ever lost control, I'm sure. It scares me, I'll admit. But the easiest way to channel anger isn't to punch something. It allows you an outlet, and as science suggests, it makes you more likely to actually give into temptation later on. It's why angry guys that punch walls don't learn to stop punching holes in shit. They like the feeling of release it gives them.

Rather, I listen to music. And it calms me down. Cathartic, if that's even a legitimate use of the term. Specifically, this song.

Fears by Serj Tankian

It's not so much an angry song. It's more the message of the song to fight back.

We pound our fist to the face,
Of fear to seize the cruelty,
Arresting your silence and
Freeing your poor soul.

The beat of the music that Tankian gives really gives something to lose yourself to and just listen. Just listen, and let the anger fade.

Over all Theme

Alright, I might as well answer your exact thread question. My over all, end all theme. The song I would want playing as I went to my classes and did everything that makes my day complete.

Of course, a Coheed and Cambria song. The Crowing, to be exact.

In keeping with the story told, it's Coheed coming to grips with his place in the Universe.

Did you ever really know before my face shame to break
Did you ever really know before my mind scared to think
Did you ever really know before my name son to these
Did you come clean in the end from the start

Dear Ambellina, the prise wishes you to watch over me
I've fought the decisions that call and lost my part as the relevant piece in this
I will come reformed
In short for the murders of those I court I bless the hour that holds your fall
Sincerely, I will kill you all

I will call you out from shelter burn your wings you'll know no better
I will call you out from shelter burn your wings and learn their letters

His place is to lose himself to the powers of the Crowing, and to kill some shit.

I view it as a call to recognize your own place in this world of worlds, and to embrace it full heartedly. To go balls out and change this world for the better, in the only true way you can. By doing everything within your power, within your mind, and within your soul to make things better. To make things different.

Coheed chooses to kill some bad guys. I choose to volunteer, to help others, to listen to people who just need to talk, and to truly make a difference. Relatively less bloody and a lot easier on the conscience, I would say.

Great post Razor, I've been storing brain cells all week in hopes of making a somewhat intelligent post in your CL thread.

I've also got to give it up to my musical marijuana man Lama for stopping on by, as well as giving it up to Litasrevenge for bringing the heat twice after her original post, Bravo.

So I know every one has been hanging on the edge of their seats waiting for me, SSC to finally reveal a theme song with words. As I've said before, I enjoy doing all the interpretation when it comes to the music I listen to, and I don't need a song with words to be able to make a connection.

That said, I enjoy listening to songs with lyrics as much as the next music fan, and believe it or not, enjoy songs with lyrics just as much as I do all my electronic jams.

So my theme today is going to be the theme to my imagination.

Now my imagination is a pretty crazy place, and wouldn't recommend looking inside my head unless you where hella stoned, but that just might make the situation worse for you. With such a "lucid" imagination I needed a song that properly represent how I feel up in my head, and there was only one song fit for the job.

Lucid Dreams by Franz Ferdinand, I figuratively as well as literally busted a nut upon first listening to this song. I feel this is a pretty easy song to relate to, I mean lucid dreams, I know you know what I'm talking about here.

Now for fun, I'll pick another theme for myself off the same album, because I'm currently listening to it, and it's fucking awesome.

This is my "I plan on getting stoned tonight and trying to reel in some pussy from Berkeley theme"

Berkeley, it's a crazy fucking place, but in all honesty one of the best places to find multiple highly condensed groups of hot and horny bitches, and with so many hipsters in Berkeley it's very easy to make a killing.

EDIT: Don't know what's wrong with the fucking videos, I was having the same problem trying to post them yesterday???
