She had a less than spectacular short run as Diva's champ but seemed to have the crowd interested in her. Her feud with AJ was probably the best diva's feud in years. But now what? She not only lost in 2 straight PPV's but she 'tapped out' in both, that is a lot to overcome. Sure many wrestlers have tapped out on PPV's before, no shame there, but I can't remember anyone tapping in 2 straight. The way I see it is Kaitlyn cannot challenge for the Diva's title again anytime soon, you simply can't sell her as a threat. So what is next for Kaitlyn?

The next likely angle for Kaitlyn is a feud with Layla who has been rumoured for a heel turn for a while now. I can't see it being a feud that makes PPV but should be a solid Smackdown feud for both Ladies.
If that was the plan they should have had Layla cost Kaitlyn the match at MITB. That way Kaitlyn isn't buried and the rivalry would mean something.JMO

I think she might be in the divas title match as long as the match isn't a one on one. I could see it being AJ vs Kaitlyn vs Natalya vs Layla. This could then start the feud between Kaitlyn and Layla, but if she isn't in the match I see the feud itself being the next thing she does.
I think it could work turning Layla heel but it could also work turning Kaitlyn heel. Layla is more likely because Kaitlyn's the face of the division and Layla can turn on her because she's sick of her having the spotlight. Also the fact that people care about Kaitlyn and like her means Layla will instantly gain heat by attacking her.
But you could also just have Kaitlyn attack Layla because she's frustrated. This won't instantly turn Kaitlyn heel because Layla hasn't been used enough as a face for fans to be sure to boo Kaitlyn. But this gives time to the feud, so every week Kaitlyn's character looks more like a heel until she's a complete heel. I agree I don't think the feud with AJ is done. Kaitlyn's loss at MITB was explained as having an injured arm that AJ took advantage of. I have a feeling we will see her teaming with Dolph against Big E and AJ at SummerSlam perhaps. I also think that eventually she will get another title match with AJ, maybe just on Raw, and I think that is where Layla will finally turn on her and cost her the match. I think at that point, Kaitlyn moves into a feud with Layla and AJ will face a new challenger (Really hoping Victoria comes back!)

She should be nowhere near AJ or the Divas Championship anymore. As the OP pointed out, she tapped out to AJ twice on pay-per-view. The feud is finished. Along with that, Kaitlyn isn't over. The best idea I've heard yet is to have her get brainwashed and become a scuzzy, psychotic witch. It worked when Kevin Sullivan did it to Luna, giving her longevity she wouldn't have had otherwise, and it could work if Bray Wyatt did it to Kaitlyn.
Other than that, send her to NXT or just have her as one of the people mulling around backstage while more interesting performers are doing things that people care about.

I could see Layla feuding with Kaitlyn. I think Kaitlyn has made good progress in the ring and Layla is someone that has really upped her game inside the ring over the past couple of years. It might not be the best of feuds, but I think they could both do enough on the mic and they can certainly put on solid matches inside the ring, so I think this feud could have enough juice to be enjoyable.
In my opinion, however, I'd sort of put this feud on the backburner for now and use a feud between Layla & AJ Lee to ultimately get this one off the ground. Kaitlyn could sort of be in Layla's corner, be her back up & generally her friend, just as Layla did for her. During the feud, maybe little things could wind up happening in which Kaitlyn winds up causing Layla not to win the Divas Championship. For instance, once their first match is built, AJ could have Big E jump up on the apron on the opposite side of the ring. Kaitlyn sees this and jumps up on her side to get the ref's attention towards Big E. Layla, at this time, could be gathering her wits after maybe mounting a comeback on AJ after taking a beating. AJ runs over to Kaitlyn and they lock horns on the apron a bit. Layla sees what's going on and runs over to try to separate them only for AJ to sidestep, causing Layla to crash into Kaitlyn and knock her off the apron. AJ could them either lock a stunned Layla in the Black Widow or roll her up for a pin.
The aftermath is a little bit of tension between Layla & Kaitlyn but she knows that she was trying to help. So maybe the build things up for a bit with a promo segment between the two and AJ makes some sort of flippant remark to Kaitlyn which causes her to attack AJ. Layla tries to help a ref or Big E in pulling them a part. As they separate, AJ delivers a hard cheap shot to Layla before she and Big E head out. Layla gets laid out because, again, of Kaitlyn losing her cool. A second title match is booked between the two of them in which Layla asks Kaitlyn to stay backstage. Kaitlyn is disappointed but understands. During the match, something could go down in which AJ cheats somehow and Kaitlyn, who is watching backstage, suddenly runs out and, amidst the general chaos, perhaps manages to get hold of AJ, resulting in Layla being disqualified. Or, Kaitlyn winds up accidentally distracting Layla, pissing Layla off that she came down in the first place, and the distraction allows AJ to capitalize and get the win. As Kaitlyn comes into the ring and apologizes, Layla is frustrated and winds up turning on Kaitlyn and delivers a vicious beatdown before leaving the ring.

I have an idea for her in mind, but she'd need a longer, dominant, run as Divas champion to achieve it. I can see her getting the belt back in the fall and possibly doing it. there's feuding with layla, or a newly turned heel Natalya who's got her fire back from when she and Beth Phoenix were crushing Divas left and right. I do think she needs some seasoning because after she beat Eve I don't think she defended the Divas title once until Paybakc vs AJ.

Well, now you know. When Luna Vachon started out, she was a generic lady wrestler who was basically cut out of the same mold as her aunt, Vivian- talented, not very charismatic, but had the family name. In Florida, Kevin Sullivan adopted a satanic cult leader gimmick- one that would go on to be his hallmark. He formed a stable called "The Army of Darkness" and converted normal wrestlers into his twisted acolytes, Luna Vachon being one of them. That became her character for pretty much the rest of her career.
Pretty much everything from The Ministry to Raven's Flock to, now, The Wyatt Family is derived in part from Sullivan's stable. It worked back then for Luna, and like I said, it could work now for Kaitlyn. It's better than just letting her be another generic one-named Diva. I mean she's not even being promoted for the E! reality show. If they don't do something creative with the girl they really might as well release her because she has little else to offer.

I think it's safe to say WWE is planting the seeds for Kaitlyn to take the title off of AJ at Summerslam for the big moment of redemption, after all the hazing and bullying from AJ. AJ's meltdown of Dolph leaving her and possibly beating Langston in the same night (because Dolph needs the win more), possibly Langston leaving her also, AND losing the Divas Championship to Kaitlyn in the same night will be the sweetest for of revenge for Kaitlyn, and AJ will be able to feel all the humiliation and venom she threw at Kaitlyn for weeks and weeks.
Although, I don't see where Kaitlyn could go after winning the title. I guess they could drag out the AJ/Kaitlyn feud for another rematch at the next pay per view, but I honestly have no idea where Kaitlyn could go after that. It's not like The Divas division is stacked with so much potential in the first place. But with the way WWE is pushing Total Divas and The Bellas as the centerpiece of the show, it wouldn't surprise me if WWE decided to start up a Bellas VS Kaitlyn feud, with The Bellas playing the role of "mean girl" bullies again.
