This one is pretty simple. What bands would comprise your perfect concert? Try to limit it to three. An opener, and middle act, and a headliner. We'd all love to have a festival held in our honor, but there's not nearly enough time to read through 20 bands, and an explanation on why they'd be there. Also, try to include where it would be held.
I've always thought about what my perfect concert would be, but I'll amend it for the purposes of this thread. I'll only use bands that I've never seen, and I'll try to set it up the way I asked. Instead of 3 all-time great bands, I'll use a small-name opener, and have just one huge headliner.
I'd have my concert at the Electric Factory in Philadelphia. It's basically an empty warehouse, and has an upstairs bar for people that don't like the idea of a wall-to-wall mosh pit. Crowds go nuts, bands play great, and security is good, but they let you havr your fun without hurting anyone.
My opening act would be Hollywood Undead. I've just gotten in to them fairly recently, and don't see any upcoming chances to see them live. Their music sounds like it would translate to a live show rather well, and they're not quite big enough to be anything but an opener, yet.
The second band on stage would be H.I.M. Now, I know there's a lot of people that don't like them, but I think they are a great band. They're also huge in Philly (because of their association with Bam Margera), and the crowd would be lively for them. They're too big to be an opener, but they're not quite headlining material in the USA yet.
My headliner would be none other than Arch Enemy. They're loud, they're heavy, and the crowd wouldn't be able to not go nuts. For a place like the Electric Factory, it would be insanity. Angela Gossow is a great frontwoman, and it'd be amazing to see her live.
