What to do with Dolph Ziggler?

Ok, Dolph was fired off Smackdown after becoming a 1 time world champion even though the reign was for less than 10 minutes. He is now on Raw where he Laycool and Vickie fueded with John Morrison, Trish and Snooki. After Mania their team lost and Dolph Ziggler is unrelevant on the roster.

He was on brink of a big push on Smackdown but then creative move him to Raw where he loses all his steam and momentum and is put into a match with Bourne? They have given him a new look which once again was not needed as previously he had a very unique and intriging look and now he looks too generic and mainstream.

What is there to do for him?

Who can he fued with at this point of time?

Will he stay on Raw?

Will he remain a midcarder or become a fulltime maineventer?

For me I think he needs to stay on Raw. Smackdonw is flooded with Heels, they need more faces at the moment. I would keep him fueding with Bourne and other members of the roster until he builds up a winning streak. From there hopefully Cm Punk and Orton have stopped fueding so Ziggler costs Orton in some way. Ziggler Orton has never been seen before and they can both put on a really good match. If they do not want to do that then make him fued with Cena, Cena needs to be busy until around the summer where the rivalry with the Rock will pick up.

The haircut does nothing for him, if anything it took away from Nic Nemeth. It made him look a bit interesting, not generic like half of the other guys. I don't see why they've done it, and this "new attitude" which he didn't show at all, will probably be some sort of persona that has been done a million times before. He didn't seem charismatic at all last night, he looked like he was trying to do the "Orton" with the intense eyes and lack of facial expression.

They just have to let him get into a good feud. Ziggler has faced Randy Orton before, as he has John Cena, and both matches were pretty good. They should give him a feud with one of the big guys. I honestly could have seen a face turn for him awhile back, why they don't go with that, and let him get over while abandoning Vickie Guerrero is still leaving me scratching my head.

Either way, I still think that he'll go on to improve, and hopefully they'll let him bring back his own look down the road, as opposed to the generic shit.

The first thing you need to do with him is have him turn on Vickie Guerrero. There is heat and there is hatred, and people hate Vickie. If you have Dolph turn on Vickie (maybe after she costs him a few matches), the fans will take to him which could give him a push for the short term.
As for who he can fued with, well this question will be best answered after the draft, but there are several mid-card wrestlers he can do this with(Bourne, R-Truth, Morrison, etc..,) It all depends on who is drafted to/from Raw (and I think he'll still be there after the draft).

I think dolph deserves an intercontental or US title shot at some point, but if they don't do it this year, he will fade away into mid-card obscurity.

I liked his old look. I though it was unique. If anything, it took away. He looked like a less intimidating Randy Orton. However, it's the first week. Let's see where it goes. I think he'll stay on RAW; he just got there. I guess he could feud with Evan Bourne or Daniel Bryan, just so they can have something to do; what happened to feuds that weren't over a woman or title? I think he'll main event eventually, but I don't think it's that time yet.

I think they should release him. i mean, without the hair and stuff, it seems like he has no personality now. his image was his gimmick, and now, he's just a generic wrestler now, and there's tons of those in the WWE. let his ass go. he's gonna become really irrelevant really fast

They just need time to find a place to fit dolph ziggler in, he had been on smackdown for a while and nearly all the top guys are in feuds right now and are unavailable, its is kind of like making reservations and he forgot raws number to make one.

My only guess with the new look is that they are working towards a face turn and thought the old look was more for a heel.

Well, it seems as if WWE is slowly transitioning itself away from PG....The Rock cussing, Trips & Undertaker using chair headshots and being "fined" for not following policy, R-Truth smoking...is it possible that Vince has changed the path? If so, Dolph Ziggler / Dirk Diggler may be on his way to being the 2011 version of Val Venis. Val had some hilarious skits and still won championship gold...so why not. I would also like to see them bring back a TV Title to the mix...one that is defended every week. It would allow some of the mid carders like Nemeth, Bryan and others another title/storyline possibility.

I like Ziggler as a wrestler and a worker. If only he was more charasmatic or better on the mic. His hair was cool when it was longer cus not many guys have long hair anymore. His haircut made him look like the other guys. He's gotta start stepping it up with microphone and psychology skills to separate him from the rest of the pack because I think he's got the ability. If they made the IC belt relevant again, had a big tournament for it, have him win, and then have him front and center defending the title every week and building him up for something bigger, that would be cool for his growth.

I would say to turn him face and him dump Vickie. Maybe Vickie is caught cheating on him and he turns face and gets his revenge. There isn't much to do with him now. Maybe have him feud with Truth or go back to S.D. and feud with McIntyre/Barrett. I'm not 100% sure. I really like Ziggler and I think he has improved on the mic. This is a real tough one. I haven't seen his new look. But I don't know why it would change. He had a baby face World Champion look.
