I'm just wondering what Cody Rhodes should use as a finisher, because i really like the kid and think he has a bright future in the WWE but i mean come on the DDT isnt a finisher anymore, i think maybe a top rope move or maybe a neck breaker something good not like MVP's (worst finisher in WWE). what do you think?

If the WWE continues to push him as "Dusty Rhodes son"(which he is, its just so dull to watch), might as well stick him with the Bionic Elbow and have done with it.

Personally, Cody played a great heel in OVW, why not make him a heel and have him fued with the big guns of Raw. He is young, younger than me and is going to be a big part in the future of the WWE.

I would personally turn him Heel & make him win matches by cheating.

I'd love to see Cody Rhodes use a submission as his finisher, specifically, the Texas Cloverleaf. I've always wanted someone to take it as their finisher since Dean Malenko retired and I think Cody would be a perfect fit.

i agree. cloverleaf or to keep a radicalz theme going... scissored arm bar (rings of saturn). just something reasonably technical cos he doesnt have the power to pull off any big power moves. at least have him work over arms or legs.

I disagree with you on two things, MVP's finisher is actually a solid finisher, it just needs too look good on both of their parts. The opponent needs too help on the move too make it look devastating.

Now for Cody, if he is suppose to have a persona of an old school wrestler, the DDT is fine, it looks like it hurts when he executes it right. The DDT was used by wrestlers like Jake the Snake,Foley, Raven & Tommy Dreamer and they turned out alright. Gosh Sting even used a reverse DDT and his career turned out just fine.

MVPs is an Overdrive. Almost everyone uses it.

I know that. the person just said it was the worst finisher in the WWE, i just disagreed, then i went on too talk about Cody Rhodes and his DDT.

IMO, the overdrive is a solid move if done properly on both ends.

yeh but heaps of people use it in WWE like HHH and when HHH does it he is way stronger and its always a 2 count and cody rhodes has about 50% the strength of HHH and its a 3 count i just dont get it. i would like him to turn heel and do what orton does sometimes where he does a DDT off the second rope or off the top rope that would hurt more. i can see him being like a younger version of orton and having the IC title. i also agree with FOLEYISGOD i would like him to challenge someone like Mr. Kennedy and feud with him for a while.

that would be the joys of selling a move. and they prob dont trust him enuf to do a move off 2nd rope 2 drop a man on his head, given kane and taker are the only 2 allowed 2 even touch a piledriver rite now.

He is using a Flowing Snap DDT. So he is doing a Raven Effect DDT. It doesn't have the same effect as Raven's one because of the gimmick not being dark like Ravens or even Jake the Snakes.

yes, but people act like it is ineffective, but Jake the Snake and Raven used it, and they turned out alright. IMO it is a solid finisher when executed right, and he does make it look like it would hurt.

The DDT is good, kinda old school finisher that goes well with his heritage. But I think he should use the Curtain Call, only call it something else, and maybe modify it a little so that he can hit it faster. Put a little snap, crackle, pop in it, and grab the legs immediately afterward for the pin.

Jakes DDT is the original DDT. Ravens is different and is the one that Cody Rhodes does. The DDT can still be effective with Cody Rhodes he just needs to work out a way in which to make the move seem special. Like Instead of Kicking them in the Gut and then dong a DDT Jumping getting the head and spinning round while pulling the guy to the ground in a DDT. It would appea to be devastating and has the quickness that the Bookers could exploit when pushing Cody by having him come out against a guy that can take a loss quickly and not have it affect their standing, then do that move almost as soon as the bell rings and go for the cover and the win. It would put over the finisher as legit.

I think his just fine with the ddt move he has now. but soon he should have a new finisher. perhaps invent a new move never before seen or something.

Only problem with that is that it's almost impossible to come up with a new move nowadays. It seems like every possible wrestling maneuver has been created already. Now, if he could learn to defy gravity, he could pull out a few new tricks.

That sounds similar to the DDT Mickie James was using as her finisher, I think that would work, I like it:thumbsup:

Also maybe an Edgucution type move would be good too, the DDT type move Edge used as a finisher for awhile, I think that would be good too

How about the F-5? They could build Rhodes up as The NEXT Next Big Thing. jk They're probably planning on having Black Lesnar- oops I mean Bobby Lashley- use it upon his return.
