What match should close the show at WrestleMania

I'm in big support of Orton vs. Triple H ending the show, purely because of tradition and Orton being so over in the company, it would be hard not to see it end with the match and Orton winning the championship from Triple H.....

....and then on Raw having a brand new belt that isn't that stupid spinner! That would officially get the Age of Orton going!

Ok i definately do NOT wnat Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels to close the show. I hate it when the Undertaker match goes last becuase its so fucking predictable and not really that climatic. Michaels vs. taker will be a solid match between two legends but should not main event. Everyone and their mother knows that Undertaker is going to win. The title should be above everything else. There are some very very rare exceptions but undertaker going over someone at wrestlemania is not one of those exceptions.

Hmm, see this year its a little bit tougher cause a) we really havent seen much rivalries yet going into WM. I agree that the Taker match should not go into WM as the mainevent. A tough question at the moment lol, but I definitely dont want Cena in the main event! That's all I can say for now..then again, Im not a big fan of Trips either. Like I said tough decision lol

The show should always end with something memorable. A title change or some old guy finally stopping wrestling. It's anti-climatic when the show ends with a champion retaining. Rey winning the title, for better or worse, was more memorable than Cena beating Triple H. It doesn't matter what the real main event is, because at that point in the show WWE have your money.

I would Like to see a Jericho vs Ultimate Warrior
then would create a moment kinda like Hogan vs Andre The Giant
Jericho is not capable of making a great match,i agree but Ultimate warrior returning would be priceless.Would make the mania 25 the best.

I cannot see the WWE letting Wrestlemania 25 end with their biggest heel stealing the spotlight. The only way that I can see the WWE using that match last is if Triple H goes over.

The Streak match I can see going last, just because it is two Texas boys going at it. Two Wrestlemania legends fighting for the first time ever. That would be exciting.

Cena versus Edge could go last, but only if Cena wins. This has a lot of potential to go last as it will be the biggest Smackdown heel versus probably the biggest face the company has, and the man of the future.

The show should end with Orton winning the title after Stephanie turns on HHH and joins The Legacy. But if they want a babyface to go over at the end, then Taker-Michaels would be the perfect choice, even know the winner is predictable, it's almost certain to be a great match.

I agree with the Rumble winner being in THE main event. It is Randy Orton and I sure don't agree with a hell win ending Wrestle Mania, but if this is gonna be Orton's chance at getting the torched passed to by HHH, then by God do it here. If this happens, any shred of hate I have for HHH will be gone forever. HHH has had his time, and if he truly cares about the future of the WWE, he'll pass the torch at Wrestle Mania.

Cena/Edge should be the main event, they are the two biggest stars in the company, and Cena is the biggest draw.

Taker/HBK is a big match, but Cena is a bigger draw than the two of them combined. Add that to the history between Cena/Edge, and the great matches and feuds they have had in the past it makes it a sure fire thing for me. HBK/Taker will probably be a good match, but Taker hasn't had a great non-gimmick singles match for years. His match against Edge last year is grossly overated. WWE has no reason to make the title matches seem unimportant by putting HBK/Taker over it. In fact HBK Taker might noteven be third on the card, if WWE bring in a huge superstar for the Jericho storyline i.e.Hogan or Austin. Both returning for one more match would be a much bigger draw than HBK/Taker,and in Austin's case probably abetter match in all honesty.

Orton/HHH has had the bigger build up, but none of their previous matches were anything brilliant, and neither are bigger superstars than Cena or Edge.

In addition there is no real problem with Edge closing the show by pinning Cena if there is a big finish, or screwjob taking place, ala Wrestlemania 17. Cena kinda needs some big storyline comming out of mania in my opinion, so a dodgy finish could be it.

Undertaker closed out the show last year, as indeed he should have done, because his match with Edge was the best and the most significant of the Mania matches. It's highly unlikely Taker will close out the show again. Triple H wouldn't like that. And I don't think Edge and Cena should close. Wrestlemania 25 needs to be about the past (the legend match with Jericho), the present (Edge/Cena), but most of the all the future. Which is why Randy Orton should close out Mania by going over Triple H. Fuck, he'll probably get cheered anyway.

HHH vs Orton by far. This is mainly because of the build up to it that has been going on for well over a month and the storyline when HHH was introduced means 100% that this is gonna be the main event.

People are going to chase the Orton/HHH feud for the next few months regardless of what position on the card this match is. That being said, it should be Cena/Edge.
Trips has main evented five Manias in the past ten years.
Edge is thrity-five, had spinal fusion surgery and only main evented one Mania. He deserves another main event spot based on his consistent heel performance. John Cena is thirty-one, the face of the compnay and has only main evented two.
Some may say that Orton is has main evented none, and deserves better, but Orton has a great list of WM accomplishments. A match with The Rock and Foley at WM20, A show stealing match with Taker at WM21. A great performance alongside Anlge and Mysterio at WM 22 and a successful title defense last year. He's also twenty-eight (or so) and has at least ten years to main event at WM.
Orton and Triple H will close, but Cena and Edge should close.

It should be Cena/Edge, it will be Orton vs. Triple H. By the way it's been booked on Raw thus far, they are putting all the build on Triple H and Orton. Cena and Edge at this point is about Cena getting a rematch, and slightly rekindling an old feud, but Orton and Triple H has become much more personal at this point.

If Triple H wins, it'll be terrible, and another wasted Randy Orton run. I don't know how many times the guy gets pushed, only to be squashed by the game cleanly. If this match ends in anything other then Triple H getting beat cleanly on pay per view for the first time in 2 1/2 years, then it will be a huge let down. This needs to be the pay per view where Triple H does what's best for the busienss, and that's sell an RKO and get his ass pinned to end the show.

Of the two title fights, I think HHH and Orton is the one garnering the most publicity and air time, and remember it will have McMahon's involved in it, which is also likely to push it towards the end of the show. In addition, they have said approximately 9 billion times on Raw, Raw recaps, and all other media that Orton has a guaranteed Main Event match at WrestleMania. It would seem odd to say this if they end up going on before Cena.

However, in terms of the last match, if it is something truly huge, then it is worthy of following the title matches. Hogan v HBK at Summerslam 2005 is an example of such a thing.

Therefore the last match on the card, in my opinion, depends on who Jericho faces. If he has a 4 minute match with Mickey Rourke, put it in the mid card. If he has a match with a fairly regularly returning legend like Piper or Lawler, put it in the mid card.

However, if he is facing Austin, in Austin's last ever match, in Texas, then there can be no doubt in my opinion that this deserves to close the show. Austin's final farewell to the crowd would be a superb way to end the show, and nobody could really complain that it is devaluing anything if the man that is responsible for the majority of the success in the last 10 years for WWE, and wrestling as a whole, is given the best position on the card.

More likely to have a shocking finish out of the 3 potential main events is Orton/HHH (with maybe a mcmahon alignment with orton) so this should be the main event. Shocking endings work to create memorable PPV's, best WM so far was arguably 17, and it had the Austin heel turn. 25 is the biggest WM so far, so i think they will have to provide either a big shock or a magic moment to end it on (ala WM 20). No potential magic moments with any of the 3 matches, hence shock ending to main event wm, which will hopefully be Orton/HHH

I don't give a dang as long as Orton walks out champ. Jkjk Orton vs Triple H should close the show, Cena Vs Edge is old and usless

I don't give a dang as long as Orton walks out champ.
Sorry to tell you this but I dont think that's gonna happen with the current direction of the HHH-Orton feud.
HHH-Orton is going to be the main event with HHH walking out as a champion

Orton vs Triple H should close the show, Cena Vs Edge is old and usless

Yeah because Orton-HHH has never been done before ;)

I think the ending should be Undertaker and HBK embracing out of respect on top of HIAC after a brutal match with Taker winning!

(The Hug will not be shown live)

Big Show on his knees crying that he has finally won the big one after so many barren years.

Yeah, I'm kidding. If that happens I will sue the WWE demanding my money back, which of course won't work, and would cost loads in legal proceedings, but it's the principle.

Seriously though, Orton HHH has to close out the show. A title match HAS to end Mania, and seeing as one match looks to be a joke of a match, it has to be HHH Orton. Preferably with Vince, Ted and Cody celebrating with Orton, but probably with HHH and Steph hugging in the ring with the rest of the McMahon's.

Yes, I can see Wresltemania ending with Triple H/Randy Orton. Either with;
Orton celebrating with the traitor McMahon (whoever it would be) and Legacy. I can't see their being a traitor.
Or it will end with Triple H celebrating, Vince, Stephanie, Shane, Linda, Shane's wife Merissa their kids and Triple H and Stephanie's children. With Triple H holding the new WWE Championship high in the air, pyro's going off everywhere.

What if, at the end of the historic Wrestlemania which is being billed as the Silver Anniversary ended with Vince McMahon announcing his retirement and handing the company over to Stephanie and Shane? I don't think it will happen but it would be a real moment?

I'd like Wrestlemania to end with Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker. Surely it will be the match between the two Title bouts. But I want Austin to be the referee in the match too, then three Texas natives in Houston. I want to see at the end of the match, when Taker most likely will win, Austin approach Undertaker, look as if he is about to hit a Stunner, but he doesn't Austin shakes Taker's hand then Michaels come back in the ring and shakes Taker's hand too. They raise each other's arms, Taker leaves. Shawn Michaels shakes hands with Austin and leaves then Austin celebrates with beers. It would be a "legends to be moment." Surely that match ends Wrestlemania, you have to believe Shawn Michaels would end the streak, not that he will.

Edge and Cena closing just won't work.

Most likely order of matches;
Tag Titles match of some kind
Money in the Bank
Jericho vs. Whoever
Diva's Match
Matt Hardy vs. Jeff Hardy
John Cena vs. Edge (C)
Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker
Randy Orton vs. Triple H (C)

I Want The Show 2 Close With The Mitb Winner Christian Or Mvp Hopefully Cashing In The Contract It Would Give Raw The Next Nite Very High Ratings

Orton can close the show, and for everyone who says a heel can't do that, look at HHH in 2000.

I think JBL's historic moment will end the show. I can't really see how either of the two world title matches will end the show.

I think that although The undertaker is my favorite wrestler and HBK is in the TOP 10,the match that should close the show is Randy orton vs HHH.Just because unlike the heavyweight title match this one seems to be both about the title and the "personal" problems with trips and orton.

I would put the taker vs shawn match right before the match for wwe champion. That way it still feels big without taking the spotlight from orton and HHH.

Usually WM ends with a face winning so it will either be Cena/Edge/Show or HBK/Taker. I would like for it to be HBK/Taker because of the history they have and I believe it will be a great closing match.
