I'm actually watching the final night of this year's BOSJ tournament from about 2 weeks ago, very good match right now between Liger and Nobuo Yoshihashi taking on Davey Richards and this dude La Sombra, who I've only seen a few matches from thus far, but he's been fucking amazing in all of them, luchador from Mexico, very good high-flyer.
I try to catch all of the new NOAH and New Japan shows, don't tend to follow All Japan or Dragon Gate as much as I used to. DDT and Osaka Pro Wrestling are two AWESOME indies in Japan as well that I try to catch. What about you, do you follow any promotions? I always think about starting threads about puro topics but I always think most people on here probably won't care, as this is a very WWE/TNA-heavy board.

I try to follow all the NJPW, NOAH, DG, DDT, Osaka Pro, ZERO-1, and AJPW that I can. Its hard cause I can't catch all the new shows (no idea where to find them) but I watch loads of old matches and catch up with the new stuff as much as I can. And yes, La Sombra is the man, I've seen a few matches of his in Japan, and he is a fantastic high flyer. I would totally post in the Puro/Indy section, we should try to revive that shit.

I've been watching ROH from the first show on for the last few months Ty and I too fucking love old school ROH, SO many forgotten GEMS that people just don't know about on every single show in 2002-2003. Thus far I've gotten to "The Epic Encounter" show from April of 2003, and I've had a great time watching all of the old shows.

Simply put, there are a lot of great matches from the start, to about 2-3 years ago. ROH today is still very good ring work wise, but there was something special when it first started. I still have a number of DVDs that haven't even been taken out of the packaging wrap.
If Punk were ever allowed to do The Pepsi Plunge in the WWE at anytime, I'd mark out royally.

Low Ki vs Samoa Joe at Glory By Honor has got to be one of the best (and stiffest) matches ROH has ever had, shit is brutal.

Well to be fair, it's Sabu. I love the crazy shit he did and all, but that's about all he was good for was insane spots where he crashes into shit/people.
The Low Ki/Joe match was outstanding because Joe can, you know, wrestle.

Not at all, Joe and Low Ki had better chemistry in the ring then Sabu and Low Ki did. It happens quite often in wrestling where two wrestlers just don't mesh well in the ring. When it comes to Sabu, it often becomes a spot fest so it would be difficult to get anything going in that regard.
