What is MVP's name?

So just now I was quite bored and looked up a few wrestlers on Wikipedia. I saw MVP's page and saw something different: his name. I knew that the real name of the man we know as Montel Vontavious Porter is Alvin Burke, Jr. But the source-of-all-knowledge Wikipedia says his name is Hassan Hamid Assad.

Has MVP converted to Islam and subsequently changed his name a la Muhammad Ali. Or is someone playing a weird, pointless joke?

Its really Alvin Burke Jr. But in the ROH he did compete as Antonio Banks though from what I recall.

Yeah MVP name has changed to 'Hassan Hamin Assad (born Alvin Burke, Jr.; October 28, 1973) so yes he has changed his name for some reason.
