What Is Bill Goldberg's Problem?

i think AJ should go to wwe where he can showcase his talent and get a better gimmick

hmmm im pretty sure i didnt even mention batista or hogan. plus i never said i hated goldberg infact i liked him when he was wrestling, i only said i dont think he belongs in tna n he shouldnt wrestle just for money. seshhhhhhh.

I wasn't really speaking to you, but a few others mentioned the others. Plus you do raise a good point about wrestling for just money. I think what it boils down to is that Goldberg, while a bit overstating his importance, could really help TNA and I for one would love to see him back in the ring. And lets face it, loving the business is good, but the guy does need to make a living as well. A TV show about cars on Spike TV aside, he probably doesn't have a "steady" income such as a contract like some other talents have.

man you guys are quick to jump on Goldberg, sure what he said wasn't true but he was a big timmer back in the 90's and he did entertain a lot of people. I still see people to this day with WCW Goldberg shirts on. And considering his popularity in WWE id say his name still carries some weight... plus he is MUCH better than The Ultimate Warrior in the ring so those comparisons just aren't fair.

^Yes, those comparisons are fair. Goldberg couldn't carry a match past the ten minute mark if you threatened to execute his whole family. He also was Mr. No-sell and replayed the same match for pretty much his whole career when he wasn't doing pointless backflips and grunting like a dog in heat. Doesn't anyone notice that as soon as Goldberg rose to prominence in WCW that WWF started trouncing their asses handily? It's no coincidence. The moment he won that belt, they were done. D-O-N-E. His stupid mega-push was the worst thing executed in the last decade. The "streak" left a nice stain on the floor. It invalidated all the other talent and basically made it so that no one even cared about the WCW title. That's why people tuned out of Nitro and into Raw. Goldberg's tenure in WWE is proof of this point. They tried to apply him to the standard method of booking where he'd actually have to appear human and WRESTLE for once and he fell on his ass in doing so. Goldberg is as necessary to TNA as Vince Russo at this point.

Goldberg sucks and to me I will only remember him for him and Brock being booed out of the building at Wrestlemania 20 in a match that sucked major ass.I agree with the first part that amboy said.If he is only wrestling for the money, not the will, passion,or desire to do it then they should never hire him.

You are booing a wrestler that still wrestles unlike Sone Cold Steve Austin and another thing Brock Lesner was a replacement of Stone Cold Steve Austin cause SCSA vs BILL GOLDBERG was in the works apparently we blame no one but Vince McMoron for that he so far screwed up 3 fantasy matches that would have happened
1.GOLDBERG vs Stone Cold Steve Austin
2.BIG SHOW vs GREAT KHALI
3.HULK HOGAN vs SCSA
4.John Cena vs SCSA ( I'd like to see this match actually)

Hey, buddy. NONE of those matches you mentioned are "fantasy" matches to anyone with a sense of what will and will not stink up a ring like a fresh pile of dogshit. Even Stone Cold's abilities in the ring couldn't salvage Goldberg's gaping lack of talent. And Big Show vs. Khali?!? What kind of drugs do I have to take to find that a fantasy match?

I think Kasye is on methamphetamine LOL is thatdrug good on you man ! We all know crippled Steve Austin is talentless and Goldberg is the MAN noone can beat he still has the winning streak he only lost one match but he has yet to lose so SCSA would lose there and then
as for Khali vs Big Show hell why not when did we last see 2 Giants since WM ever collide But Vince messed up again !

I dont think that Kasey is on anything at all ... cant say the same for others on here.. but hey everyone has their opinon...

The fantasy matches.. well i do admit to at one time wanting to see Godberg and Austin, that time is well and truly passed, well and truly. PLus it was only really to see Austin whip Goldbergs ass, as for Austin and Hogan.. wow Austin would have his work cut out trying to get a good match there, same with Austin and Cena... again Id want Austin to whip thier asses, but you couldnt force me to watch the crap that would probably ber produced.

Big Show and Khali?? I dont think I really neeed to comment on that

As for Goldberg joining TNA, Id tell him to wake up and get his hand off it, TNA dont need him.. he bring a little exposure, but would bring nothing really to the product. As Kasey has said the guy cant wrestle past 10 minutes and i think the majority of people are sick of watching him squash opponents like in his WCW days.

TNA have plenty of talent already that the just need to use right... if they wanted to bring another WWE/WCW guy in to help with exposure.... short of brainwashing The Rock to comeback. I think they should look into gettin Jericho, charisma, Mic Work, in ring ability..... but even then Im not sure they need him.. they ahve everything to succeed in my mind atm anyway.

Honestly, in Bill's days in the WCW, the whole "Who's next?" storyline was interesting, but like every other storyline in wrestling, it was carried well beyond the "tired" point.

Now, I agree that Bill's presence would be a joke. His ego's gotten to the point he wouldn't be able to step aside and/or prop up the younger guys (as Nash, Jarrett, and Sting are doing); he would be crybabying every time he wasn't wrestling in a main event, or had to put one of the younger, more talented guys over. I honestly don't see him putting over any of the much more talented big guys (Joe and Angle), much less the waaaay more talented smaller guys (Daniels, Cage, Styles, et al).

Maybe, if he gets back into early '90s shape, Vince will give him his job back; VKM's latent homosexual attraction to bodybuilders is his only hope...

It's not as much of a "Goldberg Sucks" as a "Goldberg is old" I don't want to see squash matches or putting butts in seats for squash matches. Sure, I fucking bowed down to Goldberg in WCW, but that was 10 years ago, and I was 7. Truth be told, TNA (Who's head writer is Vince Russo, who Goldberg despises and vice versa), don't want him. Yeah, they got Sting and Steiner. But the reason they have Sting and Steiner is because they can give it all they've got on the mic. Steiner knows how to get a crowd to DESPISE him and Stinger knows how to 1) Get a crowd to love him and 2) Keep them on the edge of their seats...all from talking on a mic. Goldberg can do neither of them. He can jump in the air and stick his tounge out of his mouth. You call that charisma? HELL NO! Plus the fact he sucks just brings in 1 picture to my head: THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR. And, to be honest, I think that's all Goldy is and ever will be. But wait, I forgot, he's got some queer car show on Spike TV!! He's cool right? Yeah, screw Goldberg. He's a nice guy, but he thinks too much of himself.

You can't talk any sense with these Goldberg fans, they are thicker than a 12 yr old cena fan. Goldberg is possibly the most over-rated wrestler ever, the guy got old fast in WCW, and his WWE run was an absoloute joke. The Rock was made to job to this guy, a guy that cant talk on the mic unless he's saying "your nect", has the worse enterance in the history of wrestling, he flaunts his creative control more often than Hulk Hogan, and most importnatly cant wrestle. His matches are sooo predictable, and are usually squashes (mainly because his move set is so limited that hed be repeating moves over and over after more than 5 mins) its unbeleiveable, the guy is slagging TNA, WWE, and every other wrestling company that will not touch him with a barge poll (and with good reason) saying that they are shit, well truth be told Goldberg is shit, and he should retire, or be a Stone Cold impersonater or something. Whatever it is just shut up Goldberg, stop whining because your past your medicore best and get over it.

goldberg was groomed to be a star in WCw since he debuted onto the scene even pushing him while he was so green he made frozen peas look red and when WWE brought him back in early 2003 they were going to do the same thing but the fan reaction wasnt the same it was back in his WCW days (nowhere near it)
