What If It's Ziggler & AJ?

For some reason, Dolph Ziggler has gotten involved in the current AJ/Cena affair storyline. At first, I thought it might be simply to align himself with Vickie Guerrero. Vickie has been his manager for a long time and she's now, essentially, GM of Raw so it goes to figure. Prior to this past Monday, I think we were all expecting Dolph Ziggler to go into Survivor Series in a singles match against John Cena but that's not the case.

I got to thinking that maybe the hotel room that AJ was going into MIGHT turn out to be Dolph Ziggler's and that this could be part of some scheme on their part, possibly something they'll be written as having set up with Vickie. It'd be an interesting little twist because I think we all know that WWE won't have Cena as the guy having the affair with AJ while she was GM.

As for why they could, possibly, go this route and the motivation of the heels could be simply to tarnish Cena's image and use it to give Ziggler an advantage over Cena.

I personally doubt that WWE will go this direction, though it'd be something of a surprise if they did. It's also got me wondering if maybe, just maybe, Ziggler might do something to interfere in the WWE Championship match at Survivor Series in which he helps cost Cena the match.

Quick question......why do they keep calling it an affair if they are also saying that they are both young single people?

It's like a business affair. In real life, a boss should never sleep with an employee and vice versa. It's common business etiquette. I'm sure it happens all the time but it's definitely frowned upon. Unless your boss is hot like AJ then I give you mad props.

This scenario has passed through my mind on numerous occasions. Vickie being "Managing Supervisor" makes her and her relationship with Dolph a focal point of RAW. Now she's accusing the #1 guy(Cena) and the most popular diva(AJ) of having this affair. Then, "BAM!!!" we learn it was her boyfriend?,Dolph, who was actually sleeping around with AJ. That will make the break up/split of Vickie and Dolph bigger than just some midcard relationship. Oh, and let's not forget Dolph's new shirt "Stealing the show and your girlfriend". Then to top it all off Ziggler may come out with a win over Cena. Talk about a push.

Like Jackhammer mentioned this will be unlikely but great to watch if it happens. I'm invested in this angle and am just excited to see how it all pans out.

I hope they go this route as this would be more interesting rather than just keep accusing Cena and nothing happening.

Yea I dont understand the "affair" either.I'm not that well versed in the english language, but I think affair might just be used as in "They've had sex".Which is the idea implemented in the head of the viewer.Very PG, guys, very PG.Its like saying the N word, which is white people getting away with saying it.The word is already implemented in the head of the one who hears it, so the term "N word" is useless", like affair is now.I mean they are basically accusing the children's hero , Cena, of having sex with a younger smoking hot co-worker.

I think Ziggler is just a red herring. At this point the payoff should be something shocking but meaningless in the landscape of the WWE. If it were Ziggler it would break him and Vicky up. What is the point of that? Does it turn Ziggler face? Seems like a pointless way to turn him face by having him cheat on Vicky. Does it turn Vicky face? I don't think the fans would find any sympathy in their hearts for Vicky.

Again, I think the "affair" should shock at the end but really not change much. That is why I am predicting (hoping) that this awful storyline, that I am incredibly interested in will lead us to a point where it turns out AJ was sleeping with .....(Drum roll please)......

Vince! "It was me all along AJ's vagina!"

It makes sense. Vince is around in this feud. He gave AJ the job. He probably has spent time with her as GM. And most importantly Vince is a dirty dog while AJ is young, hot and gets around almost as much as that Taylor Swift. Imagine all Vince's lonely nights waiting for Linda to come home from her campaign meeting, his frustration with Linda's campaign spending, and the idea in his head of having to have the second most important job in that couple.

I think my idea works. I think it shocks, entertains and doesn't really effect the balance of the WWE by stretching things too far.

Oh, and let's not forget Dolph's new shirt "Stealing the show and your girlfriend"

I noticed that Monday night when Ziggler was standing next to AJ. When Dolph started wearing that t-shirt I thought it was kinda stupid to have the girlfriend line on the back when he's supposed to be "with" Vicki. It could have been a subtle clue (although I highly doubt it) that Ziggler is behind this whole thing

Breaking it down, it could be a great way to do few different things:

1. This could finally separate Dolph from Vicki. When Dolph came out to the ring without Vicki this week it not only felt completely natural but he managed a pretty good reaction without Vicki being his heat conductor

2. This could set up Ziggler VS Cena at TLC. WWE is supposedly trying to end the Cena/Punk feud and with an expected loss at Survivor Series, Cena is going to be out of the title picture.

They have been hinting at a feud between these guys but there hasn't been a reason. Its just been Dolph showing up wherever Cena is. Instead of a thrown together feud like the fans have become accustomed to, how about a personal feud based off of a love triangle?

3. There aren't many things in this world that will get you hated more than stealing another mans woman. Especially in the world of heels and babyfaces. Think back to when Edge stole Lita from Matt Hardy. The emotion and passion behind this feud solidified Edge as great heel.

Bottom line is, Ziggler needs this. He gets heat, yes. But he hasn't done anything even halfway relevant since he won MITB. Even if he loses to Cena, which he will 99.9% of the time, he is going to put on a show and make people believe that he can be a World Champion. Thats the big payoff. Thats how you make a star

Ziggler needs a good storyline desperately and this idea is something I like. It would definitely propel him to main event status.

Right now Ziggler is known best for being a live display of rag doll physics. What he needs to move up is to notch some wins for a change over bigtime stars. Not to mention finally ditching Vicki. It's hard to take this guy as a pretty boy that can steal your girlfriend when he is with Vicki. Being with AJ legitimizes him. Not to mention the feuds it opens up with Vicki's new boyfriend whoever that might be, Daniel Bryan for being with AJ, and even Kane.

I can see AJ storyline wise for wanting to be with Dolph, because being with the World Champ in her mind could conceivably give her even more power than when she was GM. AJ can say she is crazy but not stupid, and being with the best looking star with the title storyline wise would keep her relevant for a long time to come.

I think this would be a cool twist. Ziggler's motive could be to tarnish Cena, like another poster said, and this would be a great way to get Dolph away from Vickie. I wondered at the same time if people could actually sympathize for Vickie lol. Still though I think this could work well, and add feul to the Cena Ziggler feud.

pretty sure this is the way they are going. Ziggler cannot be held down by fatso Guerrero if he is going all the way. I see AJ siding with Ziggler and moving to Smackdown as World Champion. Vickie will be fired and Ric Flair will come in as the new GM of Raw. Ziggler getting a heel title run up until Mania would be solid, and if they are going Punk vs Rock, Cena vs Ziggler would be okay as a semi main event

I thought all along it would be Dolph. This would give him a chance to turn face and actually makes a little sense story-wise (getting in good with the new GM). My biggest gripe with the whole story is the WWE removed a GM for having a relationship with a WWE Superstar and replaced her with... a GM who is in a relationship with a WWE Superstar. It's just terrible logic and a very poor storyline.

I wish they'd give Ziggler a bigger move than the Zig-Zag. They gave Shaemus four (by my count) convincing finishers. I'm really hoping that they give Ziggler some clean wins here or there against top tier opponents, of course most of them are assholes who'd never allow the Zig-Zag to finish them.

If anything happens between Ziggler and AJ, I want it to become part of a face turn for Ziggler. Maybe let him cash in the Money in the Bank for a ppv match against Big Show where he's allowed to win cleanly.

Given how much heat Vicki gets, I don't see fans hating Dolph for "betraying" her. Dolph and Vicki haven't really been playing up the relationship angle lately, from my limited perspective anyway. Now they seem more like a wrestler/manager relationship than anything. It would be great for those who love AJ (damn near everyone) and hate Vicki (damn near everyone).

AJ and Dolph? Hmm....I mean, it could work in a way. Dolph can use this against Cena to help the feud, he can finally separate himself from Vickie, and it could be a nice heel power couple.

On the other hand, AJ is really over right now. You don't want to mess with that.

This thread is the best of the 500 threads I just clicked on that you started lol

I actually like this idea for Ziggler and Cena's fued. Right now the fued to me is kind of random. Ziggler has been sitting on a briefcase for what seems like the inception of the MITB case and is doing nothing with it.

The only way I will truely like it is if Vickie has NO IDEA that Ziggler is sneaking around with AJ and Vickie continues to find these security videos and eventually sees that it has been Dolph shes been sneaking around seeing. In the coming weeks Cena and AJ become closer(we obviously see that he cares about her already) and that puts an official rift/reason for them to fued with each other.

Vickie Guerrero will stay a heel no matter what because people actually really hate Vickie because of how annoying she really is but I do like this premise.

This is something that I have thought about, Ziggler and AJ. It's a very good possibility because of the fact that Dolph's storyline with Vickie needs to end, and he simply doesn't need her. He draws heat on his own with his "Showoff" persona, and a face turn for Vickie wouldn't be the worst thing. She's an excellent heel in terms of drawing heat and being unlikable, but she's been a heel for too long, and it's starting to bore me. Ziggler could move on to bigger, better things, like contending for a World Championship.
