What happened to PPV quality wrestling???

Remember b4 the 10.10.10 theme TNA had a show call “the whole F’n show” and the week b4 that EB said that they would bring PPV quality wrestling EVERY week staring with…“the whole F’n show”

What happened to that promise of PPV quality wresting EVERY week???

Just throwing it out there but isn't that a bit greedy to be wanting more quality on a weekly basis, no matter what EB said, WEEKLY PPV quality matches would turn into bad times for actual PPV's, WCW did this and fans wouldn't order their PPV's I doubt TNA would go this route and match quality on a weekly basis IMO TNA's seems to be better than WWE's.

Well considering how TNA would promote an episode of Impact more than their PPV, I doubt they would care.

Isn't this just another shinning example of TNA shooting themselves in the foot? I mean, how many times can they promise the greatest surprise in the history of surprises and completely not deliver? TNA is the boy who cried wolf in this respect. I for one have no faith at this point in time that TNA will deliver on any promise they make. TNA management is destroying careers of some extremely talanted wrestlers. It's a God damn shame.

To be honest putting PPV quality matches on every week would be a bad idea. PPVs are supposed to be special events where people finally get their hands on each other or finally have that big match or whatever. Business wise you don't want to waste that on free TV.

However it is just another example I guess of TNA promising too much. It's a bad habit they've got themselves into. They need to cut back on the extravagant decelerations.

When in the hell did TNA promise a "PPV Quality Show every week"? Are you sure they didn't mean that "The Whole F'N Show" would be PPV quality, and never mentioned anything about EVERY show being like that?

I just wish Dixie would hang up her Twitter account and quit saying things.. I understand its all to get people to tune in but if she stopped tweeting the next big thing or the biggest surprise it would be more of a surprise.

Would i like a few matches to be longer and better of course but in a 2 hour show with 100 people and to try and advance storylines it gets a little cluttered. We could do without the whole dixie/hogan power struggle thing and the Jarrett/Angle wedding crap but they are advancing a storyline, they could go about it as a web show on Explosion and hint at it on Impact and allow other storylines to develop alot smoother.

The matches are alot better than what i have been seeing in WWE at the moment...Not all of them though. Like Steiner and Rob Terry...Horrible.

More focus on X-division would be nice or have them end the show and start the show with an immediate Heavyweight title shot right away.

I do like the fact that they are stringing Anderson along to get his title shot back... its like getting passed over for a promotion at work and then you have to do more and work harder to get that promotion if it becomes available again. Same theory. IMHO.

Longer matches less talking would help some too.
Angle/Jarrett could be a nice grudge match scenario but its being played out wrong.

It's been MANY a month since TNA has had what could be considered "ppv quality wrestling" on TNA iMPACT!. Within the past 6-8 months, the best matches I've seen on iMPACT! were the final match in the best of 5 series between the MCMGS & Beer Money for the TNA World Tag Team Championship, RVD vs. Samoa Joe and AJ Styles vs. Douglas Williams. Those have been the only great matches that really jump out. I'd say that there may have been a few others but those are the ones that really just seem to spring to mind. Great wrestling is something that hasn't been seen on iMPACT! very often for quite a while now. Most of what we're treated to is in the 2 to 4 minute range, which also often includes gimmick or title matches. Some of it is pretty good, quite solid over all and some of it isn't. But "ppv quality"? That's a rarity for TNA.
