What can we do to make WZCW a better fed

Deexter Jorgan

Has a Dark Passenger on board...
I created this thread due to the fact that it is felt by some that the e fed has been lacking and to stir up some conversation between everyone who is currently invloved, so i want to know what can anyone admins, mods and such do to make WZCW better!

Discuss...

IMO WZCW is runing great shows and getting as much done as possible, i really want to see if we can get more weekly shows ran, i also would like to see more people step up and start writing matches to help cement the fed into a better place

I've been wondering how to bring this up for a while . I think we should have a thread where we can trash talk in character. It could keep good feuds going and maybe start up new ones. Also it would be a good place for the new people in the fed to get a feel for who everyone is.

that is a great idea, I want to see something similar to that implemented, i also think we need to have more people in the fed, veterans whatever you want to call them that can critic the rps of the other guys the feedback thread is working but there is no detail to what we are doing wrong

If you'd look in-depth within everything "backstage" you'd of seen we already have this thread. We have two, infact. One is exclusive, and one is for everyone.

The one for everyone is called "W.Z.C.W. Lockerroom." The RPs don't count toward anything, but its somewhere you can go, to write RPs and by pass the time while waiting for shows in between.

You can very easily keep your feuds going in them, however if you say too much regarding your feud that you know, that everyone else might not, you'll only risk killing yourself because we'll have to scrap the storyline as it won't be a "secret" anymore. So be careful what you say.

The thing is about the spoilers for storylines is that I (for example purposes only) do not know where my character is going as i dont have a regular fued.

My initial thoughts are that we could use the website wzcw.com page a bit more. The awards was fun and the molten 10 is a great idea, but it only seems to happen after a PPV.

For example, (if creative were ok with it) we could post news items. SO i could go to Jesse (for example) and say i have had enough i want you 1 on 1 in a (enter gimmick here) match. Then that match would be made for the next episode.

This could happen once the RP board is posted or in between the rp board going up and meltdown.

It could be one less thing that creative would have to worry about stuffing into meltdown.

We on the staff want you guys to take control of your characters. Thats why we have the request a feud thread. Use the thread and request some feuds and then you guys will know what is going on with your characters

I am ok with that, i really am but it is like Will said, you guys have ideas as to where to take the fueds and we do not know what we can and cannot say so we do not tread on creative toes.

For example, we all know that Will in particular has told Alex Bowen and Milenko the future directions of their fued, which is great. And i am sure that you and will and ricky have all made a decision about the future of your fueds and the titles as well, which is fine too.

But the rest of us do not and while we are willing and able to help with ideas, we do not have anyone to bounce off of and tell us what is a good idea, what is not, what is reasonable and what is not.

I mean i would love to fued for a title (wouldnt we all?) but i dont know if you guys have got ideas that will lead me there. Esp as the titles are all involved with ongoing fueds.

Rant over, i hope you see my point :)

I get your point but I dont think you fully understood mine. When I say request a feud that means get with the person you are looking to feud with and bounce some ideas off each other. (The basis for the feud, how long it will be, etc) Then come to us and let us know what you guys have thought up and we will make it happen.

As far as title chances go, all you have to do is show us you deserve one by making kick ass RP's and you will get your chance. I promise you that. If it makes sense then it will happen. Prove you can handle a title feud and we will get you in the mix of things. Those you cant really ask for, they are rewarded to people.

my whole issue with this, i feel that the request or callout feud thread is not really a good idea due to as alex said confliction of storylines, and can hurt a certain superstars push, what we need is to establish some form of communication such as maybe talking to the fed heads on msn, that way at least you know that your not treading on anyones toes

The first thing you should do is talk to the person you are wanting to feud with and agree on a feud. Then post who you are wanting to feud with in the thread, if we have plans for either of you that would conflict with what you are wanting to do then we will let you know via PM

I am quite happy to wait to see what the Lottery throws up.

Let's see who eliminates GM. Or not?

Maybe i am coming after the title Enforcer?

:)

I think that the amount of time given to rp should definitely be reduced. Last time we had like two weeks. People will push themselves more.

If we were to shorten the deadlines then I would want to make sure people rp'ed. I wouldnt want to hear complaints of not having enough time. This is something you may all want to think about

I think that the amount of time given to rp should definitely be reduced. Last time we had like two weeks. People will push themselves more.

Actually, you had exactly ONE WEEK to get your RP in.. and Alex Bowen, as well as BOTH our Tag Team Champions failed to get an RP in on time. Furthermore, we had a few others who couldn't even make the show, due to what-have-you.. (if it would've been 2 weeks, they might of)

I'm sorry if this comes out bad, but you people want us to cut the RP time back.. when half of you can't even meet the 2 week deadline. We give you an inch, you expect a mile. Personally, I'm not fine with 1 week deadlines because most of us have so much stuff we have to do in real life, that we can't focus on writing one or more Rps to get it in on time.

Hell, I've been pushed to get one in for a 2 week deadline sometimes. And I know damn well most of our roster are people who can't afford to put the e-fed first in their real life. So I'm sorry, but I have to say NO to decreasing the deadline. It should remain 2 weeks.

HOWEVER: If everyone set to RP for matches gets their RPs in within the first week.. then I'm willing to jump the show up, and say "Okay, everyone RPed early.. so we don't have to use the second week unless someone else wants to write more." I think this is the best option, as it gives you two full weeks if you need it.. but if everyone gets an RP in early, then we don't have to wait the full two weeks.

That is fine. I just felt like I had a lot of time. No offence taken.

Murfish, I'd like to offer you a bigger spot. I can't and won't completely offer you this spot without the approval of the other members of Creative and of course you'd have to be willing in the first place.

However, you say that you have a lot of time on your hands. Well, those of us on Creative really do a lot more than whats seen. And the number one thing we constantly need more of, is writers. So I'm asking you, since you claim to have a lot of time.. if you'd be interested and willing to attempt becoming a writer. We'd need a sample of your work, if you're willing.

This would help us greatly, to speed the process up between RPs being finished and the show being produced. The more writers we have, the quicker shows can be put forth. And obviously as you can see, we're once again behind the originally scheduled due date for the show.. because of lack of writers.

I can definately do that. One problem though, this week I will be unavailable. I have three straight days of finals, but after that I am done with school. For 1.5 months still after that I will have a math enrichment course from 8am-2pm, so besides that I would be good for it.

Will, I have written three matches so I hope that Creative are OK with me writing fulltime and permanently!

Murfish I would like to take a look at your work and then come to a conclussion based off of that.

GM, I wouldnt mind you writing full time if you think you can handle it. I personally like your work, its not perfect but practice makes perfect and this is the best place for that. I will speak with the other guys and see what they think

I have not done an awful lot of writing. The match i sent was like the fifth or sixth. I will definitely take any advice that comes my way.

Maybe I will open it up in the discussion thread when Meltdown is up.

This isn't really something that everyone thinks will make WZCW a better fed, but it's a little thing that I would like to do. I was wondering if I could be in charge of choosing the music used in the fed. Now, I'm not talking about people's actual themes, but the themes for pay-per-views, specials (like the Tribute To The Troops episode), and the like. I think, being a real life musician and avid listener of the stuff, I have enough background to due the roll justice. And it keeps me involved with the fed while on my "sabbatical" of sorts.

Like I said, nothing major, just something I'd like to do to help.

Why would we need a person to choose music? Its not that hard, Not ever ppv music has to be themed music. And as far as im concerned, The tribute to the troops show should have some canidian patrotic songs and american patrotic songs. Just my 2 cents tho

We don't, I even said it myself. It's just that it's a little something for me to do. Just because WWE gets random bands and artists to give them music doesn't mean we have to do it (well, sort of do it).

"Not ever ppv music has to be themed music"-care to clarify? If you mean not every PPV has a specific theme, like WWE does with No Mercy and Armageddeon, that's actually a good thing. If I hear the sung phrase "The end is hear" again, I might shoot myself.
