1. Like was said, it's bullshit that only certain matches are ECW style, now. Bullshit countouts, DQs and finishes are WWE, not ECW.
2. Diva shit. If I wanted to see that crap, I'd go to a stripclub, and see some actual tits. Probably better looking ones, too. It might be cool to have them stand on the corner and do dance shit during commercials, like the old Nitro girls, but not to waste entire segments of time with strippers that don't strip. Next, it'll be "diva pillow fights". How bout actual women wrestling, instead?
3. Music. Why is is that WWE midcarder Matt friggin Hardy can get Monster Magnet, and a FUCKING STRIPPER, can dance to Snoop Dogg, but actual ECW guys like Dreamer and Sandman have crappy intros? Where's the loud rock n roll atmosphere, now?
4. Vince cancelling taping at the ECW Arena because of PYRO (???!!!). WTF! That is some seriously gay-ass shit.
5. Vince's musclehead fetish: Mike Knox beating Sandman and Guido, Test debuting, and Big Show as champ. Who's the next sign for WWECW? Chris Masters? A-Train? I'm just waiting for CM Punk to job to friggin new "Extreme" superstar Gene Snitski. lol, Fuck this shit. And quit bringing in so many WWE guys, or at least be more selective as to who'd fit in well.
6. After Joey Styles leaves Raw, he talks shit, because he's now going back to "ECW". They're still trying to tell him how to announce and do his job. WHY? They SUCK.
7. It's going to be booked towards more of a family audience now. People are chanting "EC Dub! EC Dub!" and you turn and see a 5 year old in a John Cena shirt chanting, it kinda ruins the atmosphere. WWE and McMahon are about corporate sponsors, censorship, and asskissing. He should've left FULL control to Heyman, because he does not and never will get ECW right. We'll NEVER see any of their
superstars" go as far as doing a REAL barbed wire match, for example.
8. Even though, the Big Show-Flair match was good, it was ONE match on the entire show, involving WWE GUYS, no less. What happened to an all-around good show?
9. The old level of fan interaction is now gone. You wouldn't think of seeing a high flyer dive far into the audience, now or have fans hand "weapons" to wrestlers. It has more of a WWE "superstar" feel, than the down-to-earth atmosphere of old.
10. Basically, in general, McMahon taking control. McMahon is more about money, and fueling his own ego than anything. ECW was Paul Heyman's vision and was supposed to be about the real wrestling fans, not the fairweather fans. Vince is too big-up on himself to admit his vision and ideas suck. And has had a history of turning a deaf ear to the serious hardcore fans, in order to gain more fairweather ones. WRONG product to do that with, jackass. Someone needs to punch this buffoon square in the nose.
I probably didn't word everything right, exactly. I started getting annoyed with ECW, after they had gotten on TNN, but realized that they had to work with what they were given. I remained patient and loyal, because it was still ECW. Now that McMahon owns it, it is NOT. I won't support this crap. Just my rant.
