What 2 wrestlers would make a great match that hasn't happened

First of all i would like to note that i put this on WWE section, but it also deals with TNA and there is no ''WWE and TNA'' section so please don't hate and feel free to move this thread. Im not perfect and im only Human.

so basically take 2 superstars that you could put in a ring that has't happened and you think would be a great match. and please dont pick the impossible like ''Eddie guerrero VS Shawn micheals'' or ''Chris Benoit vs Daneil Bryan'', i would love those matches to happen, but it can't happen.(R.I.P Eddie Guerrero & Chris benoit)

So which X-superstar V.S X-superstar would u choose to face each other that you thing would be an interesting match?


I would put Justin Gabriel vs Daniel Bryan in a great Crusierweight/mid card match. They would have both wrestling and high flying action.

The Undertaker vs. Brock Lesnar at Wrestlemania

I know Taker and Brock faced off before, but challenging the streak is a whole different level of competition. With Brock's audience drawing power combined with Taker's this would be an epic match. Brock is like a wild beast now and he will definitely look like legitimate threat to the Undertaker's streak.

I think I've seen it before in a different thread, but I don't think Rock vs Michaels ever happened. There's no doubt that this one would have been an instant classic. But Rock was an undercard when Michaels was champ or injured. And by the time Michaels came back, Rock was on his way out. This one would have been awesome.

Similar to above, Ken Shamrock and Kurt Angle just missed each other. This one would have been an awesome feud. Olympic Wrestler vs UFC champ. I could see different styles of matches with these 2: submission, no holds barred, last man standing, first blood. This would have been awesome.

For a 'wrestling' match, I don't think there was ever a Bret Hart vs Dean Malenko. This would be on par with Bret vs Shawn or Bret vs Mr Perfect. This would have been an awesome match.

The obvious choice would be Undertaker vs Sting, but EVERYBODY would like to see that match-up so it would not be creative IMO.

In my opinion, I would love to see Daniel Bryan vs CM Punk at WrestleMania for a world title. It's highly unlikely, but that would be f'n awesome.

And with Samoa Joe possibly coming to WWE soon, I would love to see Samoa Joe vs CM Punk. Sure, that match happened plenty of times in ROH. But quite frankly, I want to see it in WWE, and I'm sure it'd be a HUGE draw. Another match I would rather see than that is Chris Jericho vs CM Punk. Sure, they fought many times before. But I want an at least twenty minute long match, which could quite frankly be one of the greatest matches ever.

Enough with CM Punk, so I would like to say Stone Cold or The Rock vs Undertaker in a big match-up at WrestleMania one day. They had never fought at the grand stage, and I'm quite disappointed. But with Stone Cold basically cleared to wrestle a few matches on a Hell of a small schedule, I'd like to see him vs Undertaker at WrestleMania 29 or even 30. The Rock is a bit more likely, but his movie schedule holds him back far more than Stone Cold.

Could've happened in 08 or 09 at Wrestlemania, and would've been huge IMO, today, probably not so much. All things are possible, though this might be a tad unlikely....

yea,rock vs.HBK would be awesome! taker vs. sting (10 years ago) taker vs. rock or austin. The here and now, samoa joe vs. sheamus would be awesome! aj styles vs.daniel bryan vs.cm punk= instant classic! kofi vs.aj styles, aj vs. rey, a sleeper match, ziggler vs. roode,angle vs. punk, i can go on and on!

If im going with both the WWE and TNA rosters I would have to pick John Morrison vs AJ Styles. I feel like those two would put on something truly memorable.

Rock vs HBK would've been great. Rock always have more comfort in working with smaller guys who can perform(Y2J, Angle), with HBK, I think that would be a helluva match.

For a 'wrestling' match, I don't think there was ever a Bret Hart vs Dean Malenko. This would be on par with Bret vs Shawn or Bret vs Mr Perfect. This would have been an awesome match.

In around 1998 on Nitro or Thunder, these two had a match. It wasn't great, Bret stated that Malenko crotched him on the top turnbuckle and legitimately put him out with a groin injury.

As for best match between two, I would loved to have seen Batista vs Brock Lesnar in a WWE ring. I know that they had at least one match in OVW and crossed paths at the 2003 Royal Rumble, but a feud built up at a big PPV match would have been epic.

Bret Hart Vs Kurt Angle, i would of LOVED to see that match, it would of been so interesting watching two submission specialists go at it, one of them is the son of the great Stu hart, and the other is an Olympic gold medalist. It would of made for a great match.

CM Punk vs Shawn Michaels would have been a stellar match.This past summer, we had the opportunity to witness a epic CM Punk/Shawn Michaels in ring confrontation, with Shawn Michaels giving Sweet Chin Music to both David Otunga & Michael McGillicutty.After watching their confrontation, I'm forced to believe if the two ever had a match, it'd definitely become a sellout & a classic match between old school & new school.Hopefully, the match could take place at a Wrestlemania, perhaps Wrestlemania 28.I'd expect Shawn Michaels to pick up the victory after hitting a second Sweet Chin Music(First Sweet Chin Music comes as a counter to CM Punk's flying clothesline; CM Punk gives Shawn Michaels the G.T.S during the match as well).

As for wrestlers from the past I would have loved to have seen Chris Benoit vs Dynamite Kid for the similar styles they both had.

Owen Hart vs Chris Jericho would have been an enjoyable match to watch and possibly an even more enjoyable feud. Imagine those guys going at it on the mic! On the mat it would have been flawless I'm sure.

As for the current rosters Austin Aries vs Christian would be fantastic and Kane vs Abyss would be a classic big man monster match.

I've got several:

Kurt Angle vs CM Punk - imagine the match...wow, I feel cheated.

Kurt Angle vs Bret Hart - Could've possibly been the greatest match of all-time if the two could have ever hooked up in their prime.

Kurt Angle vs Ric Flair - Did this EVER happen? I can't remember it ever happening. Did I just miss it?

HBK vs Savage - Two of the very best in the ring and on the mic. Would have been fabulous to see.

HBK vs The Rock - Been said before, but it would have been quite a buildup and maybe one of the last classics still very possible.

Austin vs Goldberg - The two biggest stars of the two biggest companies in the 90s. Still would be an amazing draw.

Austin vs Hogan - Quite possibly the two biggest stars in wrestling EVER. A match today couldn't possibly live up to the hype.

AJ Styles vs Ric Flair - The new vs the old...Has this happened in TNA? Did I miss this one too? I still think it could be fairly entertaining if it were to happen today.

for one, I was thinking Rob Terry vs. Batista.... I think they would definitely bring out the best in each other, both being huge and having the MMA training.

Beer Money vs Morrison and Miz. Both were pretty good tag teams and like to see them battle it out.

Abyss vs Mike Knox. Just want to see it happen I don't know why, I just do.

Pope, Shelly and Kaz vs Air Boom and Trent B. Weird match up but could be full of quick action and hard hitting.

AJ vs Cena. Everyone went with Joe vs Cena so I switched it up. Could be really good or it could really suck.

Somoa Joe vs Fallen Angel vs DBD vs Punk. Think it would be interesting to see.

Have way more dream matches in mind but I don't want to list them all.

AJ Styles vs CM Punk - this match would be epic in my opinion!

Crimson vs HHH - Crimson looks like he could take HHH down and we all know H doesnt like to have a major threat around without knocking it down.

Samoa Joe vs Undertaker - Need i say more? The samoan Submission machine vs the Deadman just says it all for me!

Sting vs Randy Orton - Everybody wants Sting vs Taker but i would much Prefer Sting vs Orton!

Bully Ray vs John Cena - a possible great match if played out correctly

Kharma vs Aj Lee... I've a feeling they'd really make a good match

Layla El vs Lita... I can only imagine a feud between these almost polar opposite divas would be like and with Layla's in-ring progression and Lita's experience/skills i really think that their match would be awesome.

AJ Styles vs CM Punk... Probably the only reason i'd want CM Punk to go to TNA (well this, and my next dream match)

Samoa Joe vs CM Punk... They had a 5 star match once-- 'nuff said

Randy Orton vs AJ Styles... They're so different in the ring that it'd be perfect

As for my "dream match", Bret Hart vs. Kurt Angle is definitely up there. Chris Jericho vs. Owen Hart would have been great. Sting vs. Undertaker is one of the few that's actually possible.
