Vickie Guerrero Got More Heat Than Satan In A Church Last Night

Uncle Sam

Rear Naked Bloke
Unless there's something wrong with the, uh, levels or whatever on my TV, Vickie Guerrero cut the heel promo of the year by a canny combination of saying "excuse me" and being present last night. I mean, it seemed like an unusual amount of heat even by Vickie Guerrero standards, didn't it? The Miz can have staredowns with small children, ADR can emerge to crickets, Barrett can have perfect diction and Punk can disrespect his own hometown, but I don't think there's another heel in the WWE that draws as much heat. She might have even got a bigger reaction than Cena.

Also, I've developed a pretty bad case of the flu so forgive me if it was actually Stephanie McMahon or someone out there.

Vickie Guerrero has gotten tons of heat before but I've never seen anything like what I saw last night. She's probably the only "heel" right now maybe other than Cole that can just be present and not have to say anything and the crowd will boo them to no end. You can honestly say right now that two of the top three in terms of getting heat aren't even wrestlers in Vickie and Cole.

Not even a pleading Cena could control the crowds hatred for her. It was just phenomenal .. You genuinely couldn't hear her that well over the crowd. I'm not entirely sure what she's done to deserve that much heat either..

You could tell that both Cena and Vickie were trying really hard not to laugh about the whole situation .. (Cena failing)

I love Vickie, she's got a great character. She's developed the "heel" look aswell over the past couple of months. Hell, she even came out in a catsuit a few weeks ago. I haven't seen anybody do that since Sable in 2003.

She got an epic reaction on Raw aswell, despite John Cena provoking both her and the fans. It was a great segment, Cena looked like he was having a blast. The fat jokes got the crowd having a good time aswell. It's time like this truly stress what the E stands for in WWE. It was a great show and that entire segment was hillarious. Can't wait to see Cena, Dolph and Vickie on Smackdown tomorrow night.

I thought that Vickie getting heat last night was nearly the best part of the show. She can draw heat like no-one else, even when Cena is requesting their silence. You could see that he couldn't help laughing, even when he should've been serious. Thought it was a great segment.

I LOVE VICKIE G! I think her character is HILL AIR EE OUS!! U could see that they really did NOT know what 2 do about the HEAT she was getting!!! The crowd gave her the BOO BIRDS IN FLOCKS! I LOVED IT! U could see VICKIE had 2 control herself 2 keep from LAUGHING! I wish more HEELS would get that response! I hate the NEW WANT 2 BE COOL BAD GUYS! I wiish more HEELS WERE HEELS! Vicki had the NET BUZZING becuz everyone wanted 2 see NAKED PHOTOS of her!! LOL! Just think of that! She is a middle aged not extremely attractive WOMAN and yet MILLIONS of ppl were DYING 2 SEE HER NAKED! LMAO! U know what's funny VICKIE gets so much HEAT that U 4get that she wqsn't even a character! SHE IS JUST EDDIE'S WIFE! She turned herself in2 a BRAND & I dont know why but her EXCUSE ME just cracks me up!!!

I was waiting for the crowd to start throwing garbage in the ring at her. The reaction she had rivaled Hulk Hogan joining the nWo back in 1996. That segment was insane. She barely said a full sentence and she was getting booed out of the building. To think WWE let her go a while ago... wow. She is doing wonders for Dolph Ziggler because let's be honest here... he really has no character. Pairing him with Vickie was a genius move and they should keep her with him until he inevitably leave her for Kaitlyn from NXT3. I never thought I would say this, but Vickie seems to be over in the way that top faces like Rey Mysterio and John Cena are, except as a heel. The last heel I remember getting that kind of heat was probably The Rock singing to Sacramento. Vickie was like LeBron returning to Cleveland she was hated so much. I can go on and on with this parallel analogies but I think you get my point.

Last night was one of the most incredible things I've ever seen. If I didn't know better I would say it was a set up. I loved it. John Cena made it all the more entertaining.
I would say Vicki got the same reaction Hulk Hogan got when he turned heel. The garbage wasn't there but the crowd reaction was so much more. I've always thought that the best way to be the among the most popular is to be the one of the most hated. But there's a problem with Cole and Vicki. People just don't like them as people. Character or not, people don't like them. Vicki was never believable as a GM and people hated her for it. One would think that being Eddy Guerro's widow would get her some sympathy. It didn't happen. All she had to was add an annoying voice and try to hurt the babyfaces and she is instantly one of the most hated people in the company. It's not hard to get over as a heel when people can't stand you to begin with. I would be surprised if either Vicki or Cole could ever get over as faces. They just aren't likable.

Vickie is a heat black hole from which no boo can escape. You could hav had a entire squash or regular diva match in that time. This may be off topic but who was the biggest heel of all time? Piper, Vince, The Brain. Did they ever get it that bad? Good God. Got to give her credit for taking all that crap last night and every night for our viewing pleasure.

Vickie for top heel ever!!!

I know Vickie G gets alot of heat where ever the wwe goes but the reason I think she got so much heat was because they:twocents::twocents::2up: were in Texas the Guerreros are from El Paso Texas lots of Eddie fans there that probably dont approve of her being in wrestling let alone portraying the character she does the self loving couger she is so that might be a reason for the exrta heat she got, it was still impressive though.

Last night, that heat was incredible. It was deafening. I've never seen anything like it.

Vickie is probably one of the most underrated talents that WWE has. I think some of the best heat I have ever heard, have all been because of Vickie. She just has that annoying factor that gets her on people's bad sides. I think a lot of last night had to do with how Cena got the crowd going at first and it all just carried over to the heat for Vickie. But either way, it was awesome and something that other heels will have a hard time trying to live up to.

Only a Guerrero can turn something that stupid into gold. I don't believe I've ever seen the crowd boo so much. If you noticed, that segment alone boosted Ziggler's heel status. The Cena Ziggler match had the fan reaction of a PPV title match. Vicky is a Goddess at what she does.

Vickie is probably the biggest heel the WWE's got right now and she's doing a great job at it. I'm predicting that she and Dolph will split sometime near January and go after her next young male victim. I'm not too sure about the Kaitlyn-Vickie-Ziggler love triangle though.

I've always thought she's been good. La Familia brought me into wrestling really, and although she isn't as big a part of Smackdown as she used to be, she's still epic.

Which young male victim do you think she'll go for? Whoever she does the angle with will result in them getting over a fair bit. That's why she keeps doing the same thing, because it works.
I think she should do it with Undertaker, those two could pull off the romance and make it believable. :wtf:

I was going to make a thread about this, but I felt is was cutting a little close to the topic at hand with this thread, so I'll just respond in this one:

I think Vickie is going to be inducted into the Hall of Fame years down the road for the absolute nuclear heat she's able to draw simply by existing. And she'll be able to do it on her own two feet, without the help of Eddie, or his legacy.

To be quite honest, I don't think I've heard heat like that since Test was burning the American flag back during the attitude era, slightly after 9/11. It's absolutely crazy how much heat she can get just by saying "Excuse me!" while someone like Test had to resort to burning the American flag.

Absolutely nobody can draw heat like she does. She's absolutely amazing at her job, and I hope she gets a HOF nod years down the road for her performance.

Much of this is tied to the Cena/Nexus angle in my opinion.

The crowd was hot for Cena last night. Forget the boo/yea reaction that Cena generally induces, the place roared when Cena made his entrance. The crowd was firmly behind him. WWE had finally found a heel in the Nexus stable that the entire crowd could get behind hating. The crowd was having fun, Cena was having fun, and everyone in the building outside of CM Punk was having fun. Cena had gotten the final word in his feud with Nexus and he and the crowd were basking in the moment.

Who better, I ask you, to draw the opposite reaction from the crowd at that very moment then one Vickie Guerrero? One of the largest female heels in WWE history interrupts the conquering hero's first promo back on Raw after breaking free from Nexus control. The crowd was hanging off his every word, and basking in the moment with him. Vickie Guerrero and her two favorite words ended said celebration.

With one "Excuse Me", Vickie Guerrero interrupted the victory promo of the winner of the feud of the year. Being that she already draws massive amounts of heat, the timing of her interruption was perfectly executed. Just her presence alone at the timing of the promo made for the massive heat that was drawn, and transferred to and stayed with Dolph Ziggler throughout the match. A good job by all parties involved in this part of the segment, especially the crowd, who really made this as good as it was. She's easily a HOF inductee down the road just due to the nuclear amount of heat she is able to draw, and she'll be able to do so without leaning on Eddie's legacy. Well done indeed.

That was simply amazing!! I honestly dont think i've ever heard heat like that one anyone before. Problem is: IMO- people/fans just dont respect her & havent from the start.

I think the heat that vickie got when she 1st started on TV was heat because people just couldnt stand her in general & couldnt accept that fact that she was even given a job by WWE. They hated HER not her character. They boo'd HER not her character.

I now think it might be 50/50. Vickie has accepted whats been said about her and embraced it, in her role as a heel! I hated HER (not her character) from the begining. Not anymore tho. She IS a true heel in every sense of the word! She HAS lost a ton (pun intended) of weight & is actually doin her job now!

Im very impressed with her work lately. And lastnight was literally UNREAL!! That fan reaction had to be ALL the talk backstage after and even during RAW lastnight! Vince had a HUGE hard-on as that was happening!! Cena couldnt control himself from laughing, but he could laugh in character. Vickie wanted to laugh SO bad- is was funny to watch. yet she remained in character the whole time.

I'd bet Vickie got a raise lastnight, as soon as she walked back thru the curtains & got backstage!! I'd bet she got massive praise from everyone back there! Smiles & hugs all around the board. Im sure Eddie had the BIGGEST smile of them all!! Truely amazing!!

She most certainly did Sam, she most certainly did.

Like Mozz said, she definitely proved that she could easily stand on her own feet and could eventually go on to become a Hall of Fame worthy induction as a manager. She got more heat than I have heard anybody get in the past many years.

I couldn't help but chuckle a little bit at it all. Because in the end, while the amount of heat was absolutely mind-boggling, the whole segment was hilarious to watch Vickie try to talk through the booes, as well as John Cena trying to control the crowd.

And not only did it give Vickie a lot of heat, it set up for 2 great things. We saw two great matches with John Cena / Dolph Ziggler, which absolutely tore the house down considering the amount of time they got to perform on both RAW and Smackdown. And ultimately, it also set up for what seems to become a definite feud between John Cena and CM Punk, who obviously aired his problems with John Cena, and apparently made some sort of "in-ring return" if you will.

Overall this segment was absolutely gold, and probably one of the best segments for months.

Props to the Texas crowd because they were major contributors as to how great the RAW atmosphere was, a good crowd really helps a show. But OH MY! that was a load of heat she received, i couldn't just help but laugh as everytime she came to talk the crowd would boo her into silence. Excellent segment that was really boosted by atmosphere of the crowd, they made their presence felt and known.

Yeah i would agree. She always gets eat but she had to wait like 10 minutes b4 the crowd would stop booing. It was pretty crazy. It got annoying after awhile to.
