Eddie Guerrero: Worthy or Not?

Eddie is in the HOF because of his death, nothing more to it. Since he died Eddie has become one of the most overrated wrestlers ever, and I'm saying this as a fan of him. Just because someone passes away, it does not make their accomplishments any better, it doesn't make their matches great, and in no way does it warrant a place in the HOF.

I'm sure you also think that the entire basis of Rey Mysterios push back in 2006 was also because of eddies death and nothing to do with the immense amount of fanfare he'd established. Correct??

Why is he overrated because you think so? Oh and if your a fan would you really call a former WWE Champion and a man who entertained millions on a weekly basis for his entire career overrated??

Lets compare Eddie's accomplishments to some other HOF's.

First of all he's a former WWE champion. 56 different WWE Hof's have never held the WWE Championship in their career. Eddie has.

Won a Wrestlemania Main Event.

Triple Crown Winner(11th)

Grand Slam Winner(5th)

4 Time Tag Team Champion(with 3 different partners)

2 Time United Ststes Champion(in WWE and WCW)

2 Time ECW TV Champion

2 Time Intercontinental Champion

2 Time WCW Cruiserweight Champion

Look at all of the different championships and accomplishments this man has aquired throughout his career. He was a staple in Mexico and the WWE. Pus the most important he entertained the fans. He was one of the greatest and most captivating entertainers to ever lace up a pair of boots.The question isnt had he not died would he even be in the HOF. The question is were he still alive would you say he doesnt deserve to be in.

He WOULD still be Inducted the real question is would he still be Inducted that year? NO he would still Not be inducted because he would still be wrestling but YES he would in about 2013

If you're a fan of him then how the fuck can you say he doesn't deserve to be in the HoF? I would say more but I'd get done for flaming. Eddie was one of the best wrestlers on the roster, and you can't deny that. He had some really good fueds, and was damn entertaining. Moreso that your 'lover' Shawn Michaels. He deserved the WWE Title win and he deserves to be in the Hall of Fame. I'm not going to deny that he did get a little too over-glorified after his death, as everyone does. However, it was merited. He deserved all the praise. Don't call yourself a fan of his, because you're quite obviously not. You'd realise he did enough in his career going past the WWE, back to WCW to merit his place in the Hall of Fame.
