Biggest Heel in WWE History?

the mark of a true heel is their ability to be hated...the the ultimate mark of hate is wanting to kill someone...two wrestling heels in history have gotten legitimate death threats by fans...Sgt. Slaughter and Muhammed Hassan...

they may not have had the longevity of a Mcmahon or HHH...but its not about quantity...its about the impact u make in whatever time you had to "shine"...i highly doubt any other heel had the pure hatred on them that Hassan and Slaughter had...yea it may have been also accumulated due to the war in Kuwait and terrorism going on in the world...but nevertheless they were hated, despised heels!!!

For pure crowd hatred and reaction, Vickie is far and above one of the biggest heels in the history of the company. People flat out HATE her. There's a reason they brought her back after Edge "dumped" her, and it wasn't because she was a diva or even a wrestler.

You can have your opinions, you're entitled, but to call someone idiotic for their OPINION makes you sir, the idiot.

Okay obviously your a bafoon. Vickie doesn't generate heel heat. What Vickie generates is the annoying go away heat. People don't want to see her period they want her to go away and never come back. It's mind blowing to me that people would say she's the best heel ever. You can't compare Vickie to Triple h you just can't. I hated Triple h because I couldn't stand his in ring tactics not because I found him annoying.

Triple H (2002 - 2005) He got ridiculous amounts of heat and he dominated Monday nights every week. No question it's Triple H during his time as a heel on Monday nights.

A difficult question. You could go for an obvious option with Ted DiBiase or Vince McMahon or Triple H and while they're all good choices, I personally am going to go for Sgt. Slaughter in 90/91'.

Slaughter was the most hated man in pro wrestling at the time. No one liked him, not even remotely. He was despised and seen as a traitor to his country which he supposedly loved. This was during the first gulf war so tensions were high anyway, and the WWF made sure they capitalised upon the fears of the people (much like they did during the 80's with DiBiase being rich & powerful) by having a traitor in the ranks with Slaughter.

The hate only increased as he took the belt from the Ultimate Warrior and went up against 'American Hero' Hulk Hogan. Slaughter was flanked by General Adnan who worked tremendously well as a mouth piece and was just adding fuel to the fire. The degree of hate was so severe towards Slaughter that the WWF was forced to move WrestleMania VII from it's original location (over fear that someone would try to assassinate Slaughter) to the Los Angeles Memorial Sports Arena.

The biggest heel in WWE has to be Vince Mcmahon. Hes almost always a heel, he can do whatever he wants as his story line so he can screw anyone over. Hes been in tons of storylines against the biggest faces in WWE. I mean thats my opinion, i saw someone else write it and i agreed. When you have a guy like that he has to be the biggest heel, hes been boo'd all over the world, even boo'd when he does something good.

With out a doubt, Bobby "The Brain" Heenan, he even turned the most loved character in wrestling, Andre the Giant Heel. If you were in his stable, you would get heat. He was better even then both Mr. Fuji, and Jimmy Heart. He had hogan took to the test so many times with his stable, and they held Gold.

As an individual, I'd say Jake "the Snake" Roberts, as a child, he was the embodiment of evil with his feuds against Steamboat and Savage. when he brought out the snake, everyone feared for his opponents, it was masterful.

Mr. McMahon has been the numero uno heel of the E era. Not only did he feud with the top faces, but he got those same faces on his side when the time suited him. Feuded with Austin, but got Austin the WWF title in order to feud with the Rock. Got people like Mick Foley, the Big Show, and the Undertaker to join him in dominating the storylines week to week; every week. Of course, who else but the biggest heel in this era could start a club known as the Kiss My Ass Club, and get a pretty decent heel (William Regal) to be the inaugural member.

HHH[/B] or THE UNDERTAKER
HHH is one of those that when he plays the bad guy no matter ho much yo loved him before you hate him more. he loves playing the bad guy and we all know why becasuse he great at it. when he was with STEPH during the McMAHON-HEMLESY ERA or during EVOLUTION he was great because to me hes better on the mic as heel.

THE UNDERTAKER when he was THE MINISTRY OF DARKNESS he was sick, twisted, sadistic, and evil everybody was scared and/or hated him. when he was the biker he played it well espically as the heel by just kicking some ass.

my pick goes to THE CEBRAL ASSIAN THE KING OF KINGS THE GAME HHH with THE UNDERTAKER in a close second

Also, have a couple of corrections for some of my fellow posters:

Ruthless RKO "No one has mentioned Hollywood Hogan? was he not heel...when he shocked the wrestling world!!"

That was because that was WCW, not WWF/E

Funny Kay "The hate only increased as he took the belt from the Ultimate Warrior and went up against 'American Hero' Hulk Hogan. Slaughter was flanked by General Adnan (The Iron Sheik) who worked tremendously well as a mouth piece and was just adding fuel to the fire. "

The Iron Sheik was Colonel Mustafa, General Adnan was AWA mega-heel manager Sheik Adnan al-Kaissie (and fomerly Native American wrestler Billy White Wolf)

You kinda missed the point. Its the guy's opinion. Let him have it, he doesn't deserve to be called a bafoon for it (Buffoon, by the way).

I'd have to agree with a few previous ones said; Triple H was, for me, THE heel from 2000 till 05 or 06 when he went face via DX (he did go face in 02 but it went by way too quickly)

Vince Mcmahon is, was, will always be the king of heel-ism. Just brilliantly evil.

Personally, I think Vickie is a brilliant heel as well. Ok, she does get 'X-Pac heat', but we still hate her, and we all cheered when 'Taker tombstoned her a while back. Good enough for me, and she literally cannot be heard most of the time.

Three who don't have as much of a mention:

Stone Cold (2001) - the biggest face of the company turns against the second biggest (or joint biggest) face in a title match at the biggest pay-per-view in the company and aligns himself with his mortal enemy, HHH, and the man the WWE loves to hate, Vince, and dominates the WWE. One of the biggest turns in history and I loved watching it. Austin wasvirtually unstoppable from that point.

Kurt Angle - Was the cowardly heel who claimed he was the best, the toughest, etc. People flat out hated him, so much that at Royal Rumble 2001, people cheered Triple H in their title match when he was the dominant heel. Who'd have thought he would be now considered one of the greatest in the biz today, if not ever?

Eric Bischoff - Nuff said really. He walks in, you wanna slap him. Has that smug face of 'I know all and am literally better than you are.' Brilliant in WCW and, for me, in WWE as GM of Raw he was golden.

im sorry but i dont fully agree.. it's the same with Bischoff, i watched RAW each week, waiting to he who he was going to screw over next, and how, the same i did smackdown when she was GM, and would screw pretty much anyone who went up against edge. (EG: 'Taker)

but that is MY opinion, that is why i made this thread, for everyone to give their take on it. some great choices too guys, here's a few honorable mentions

Scott Stiener: after he started beatin stacy

JBL: god i miss his promo's...

Brock Lesnar: yeah.. more of a personal hate for the guy, but when he wanted, he could draw a lot of heat. like F-5 to Zach Gowen (was a one legged wrestler, back in 03 for those who didnt know/ dont remember) and then threw him down some stairs. great heel work.

Muhammed Hassan for sure! that guy got so much heat, from the crowd.. death threats, he got it all. i mean, he was released because there was really nothing else they could have done for him. everyone would know him as "that guy"

I am going to go with either Vinny Mac or Triple H.

Back when Vince and Austin were feuding, Vince was the ultimate heel, doing everything he could to screw Austin and prevent him from winning the title. He represented your boss at work you who HATE but cant do anything about it...but Austin could. So you hated Vince McMahon so much and just waited for him to get what he deserved!

But for me, I hated Triple H more. When he married Stephanie and began the McMahon-Helmsley regime, he played the heel role to perfection. The arrogant smirk he used to do pissed me off so much lol, and the constant screwing of every main even face he came up against, and as he had the power in the company, it was almost impossible to see how the face was going to win the belt.

Add in the sledgehammer shots, the awesome interviews and the annoying whining wife at his side, and the Game was the perfect heel

The rock! As people boo I always cheered. He was a funny as heel and I believe the best in history. He had the charisma and mic skill. Rrally great heat no matter where he went. I like the 2003 heel more than the 1999 heel. Runner ups...jericho, and edge and randy orton.

Mr. McMahon, hands down. He was apart of one of the most brutal things to ever happen. - The Montreal Screw job.
Even after that, he had feuds with the top dogs in the company like Stone Cold, Shawn Michaels, ect., ect.
All of this probably made him one of the most hated guys in the business.

I can't speak as much to 80s-early 90s, but from what I've seen, Roddy Piper was the most high-profile main event heel with longevity. Everyone wanted to see Hogan beat him up at WrestleMania I. Piper was truly annoying on the mic as a heel and insulted the crowd mercilessly. He also abused his guests on Piper's Pit with the same lack of mercy and brash, cocky verbal assault. He was a face for a while but his long tenure as the main event heel, with Ted DiBiase as maybe the closest competitor, makes him a primary pick for the biggest heel title.
