Unpopular Film/TV/Music/Video Games Opinions

Heath Ledger was not better than Jack Nicholson

I would argue that you're comparing apples to oranges. Even though they were playing the same character name, there's no way they were playing the same Joker. Just my opinion though as it's an easy thing to argue the other way.

The IT Crowd is awful.

Ben Affleck will be a fine Batman/Bruce Wayne.

Last of the Mohicans is Michael Mann's most enjoyable overall film.

Some unpopular opinions... in this thread.

-The Dark Knight is still the best comic book film ever created, by a long shot.

-Breaking Bad is a great show (though I agree it doesn't touch The Sopranos or The Wire).

-Alice In Chains destroys all early 90's rock/grunge bands.

-Man of Steel was not good. Zack Snyder is an awful director, so I wasn't shocked. However, an action-heavy Superman film was necessary, even if it wasn't any good.

-Popular opinions are often correct. Take that in, boys.

The first two seasons of Breaking Bad are rather average. 3 and 4 are the best seasons, 5 is very satisfying but not better than 3 or 4.

- I loved the Star Wars prequel movies, just not nearly as much as the Clone Wars Cartoon Series (both the 2003 mini-series & the 2008 film/series) & The Original Trilogy.
- I walked out of Le Mis after hearing Anne Hathaway & Russel Crowe "sing" & demanded a refund.
- The Back to the Future movies are boring, kinda stupid & extremely outdated.
- Avatar is one of the worst movies ever & it is highly overrated simply because of the visual effects.
- I didn't like Pacific Rim but I really enjoyed Disney's Frozen.
- Archer, Entourage, Game of Thrones, Madmen, The Walking Dead, The Wire & The Sopranos are all vastly overrated & are all average at the very best.
- All Zelda games (not including Super Smash Bros.) are boring as shit. Same with Assassins Creed, Kingdom Hearts, Final Fantasy, Minecraft & almost every sports game ever made.
- The Avengers was a pretty big let down.
- While the golden age in the 90's is still the best, The Simpsons is hands down the greatest comedy ever created & has been consistently laugh out loud funny for 25 years.
- I will love Wrestling & Sports Entertainment till the day I die but I think all other sports are completely stupid.
- Also I agree that Tarantino is highly overrated, everything Seth McFarlane touches pretty much sucks ass & Man Of Steel was pretty awful.
-The Dark Knight is still the best comic book film ever created, by a long shot.
John C. Reilly is funnier than Will Ferrell and Walk Hard is better than any Will Ferrell movie out there.
& these are more like facts.

- Family Guy tries too hard to push the envelope.
- Mad Men is the best show produced by AMC and it's not even close.
- South Park is the best show for social commentary.
- Stone Cold's a better actor than The Rock

Can't stand Kings of Leon ever since the Sex on Fire album
Mumford & Sons is ear rape to me

Anyone that doesn't like Lost or complains about the finale not giving answers is too stupid to understand it.

Horribly overrated, but them effects are pretty insane. I think of it as Star Wars meets Dances with Wolves, with just a splice of The Matrix.

This thread turned into "I dislike popular things because I'm cool"
Remember, this forum is populated by a large group that will cheer any heel and boo any face, so what were you expecting?

Avatar is the biggest film ever, yet I don't think I know anybody who loves it. In fact, I think I know only a few people who remember it. How did it make so much money?

I knew people who saw it and were so blown away by the visuals that they went back to watch it in 3D.

I disliked what I have seen of Lost, although much like with Breaking Bad, my opinion must be tempered by the fact that I could not get past the first handful of episodes as I found them such a chore to sit through.

The blind acceptance of the ludicrousness of everything going on around them drove me mad. If the main characters are not going to seemingly care what is happening to them with the island, why should I?

I had a date with a pretty attractive girl shortly after it was released. I asked what her favourite film was, she said Avatar, I decided she wasn't for me.

I saw the film on IMAX 3D. It was worth it. You don't pay attention to the story when you're distracted by how great the movie experience was. Tried watching Avatar at home later, and such a letdown.

This is a bit of strange one and I'm going on a bit of a Dark Knight rant.

The Dark Knight trilogy were not good comic book or good Batman films.

They were very good thriller/spy/mob films.
