Think about this..
So on the 1,000 episode of Raw there's going to be a new PERMANENT general manager, correct? Well what if UT came back and was in fact, placed as the new Raw general manager? That'd make him be at every Raw show so he'd be there all year round! I know we won't see him wrestle but a one off WrestleMania match and to be a general manager, could you imagine that? The phenom as the general manager of Raw would be epic!

I know it's kinda un-realistic but we have no leads to why he is back, so I just thought WHY NOT? Could this happen? How would it work? What do you think?

I agree, Taker as GM would do wonders for the company. As a actual shareholder in the company, I am losing faith in the WWE. The plots are g rated and the attitude the company once had is diminishing.

Taker can change that in the GM role. I hope so or my stocks are going to RIP

Taker's future is pretty much whatever he wants it to be. If he wants to come back full time and have a run with a title, he'll get it and justifiably so.

I look for his appearance at Raw to be a one time appearance and we probably won't see him again until probably around the Royal Rumble or just after to start the build to WrestleMania. All in all, I look for WWE to use Taker the way they have been the past few years. Taker's already done everything and beaten pretty much everybody. He's bigger than the WWE or World Championship. He's bigger than MITB, the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber and just about anything else. A big reason why WWE uses Taker this way now is because his body just can't handle a full schedule anymore. The wear and tear has gotten to him, which was only made worse due to the fact that Taker would often put off taking time off to heal and recover because he was needed.

I like it this way, to be honest. It makes Taker's appearances feel very special and adds a level of importance to his WM match.

Personally I would love to see UT back for good. With his 20th wrestlemania win out the way, I think WWE should make the most out of UT, maybe giving him one more major title run or one last epic feud. I don't think he has much time left, but at the same time I despise keeping him off for 11 months of the year and bringing him back for wrestlemania. At this point, he is no worse than the Rock, and he deserves better than being dubbed that. Bring him back week in week out, and focus more on his credibility than one match a year.

He should go 20-0 and retire. No reason to tarnish the streak to put someone over, and it'll only be an already established star facing him at WM anyway. UT always said that he'd bow out when he felt he couldn't be the big dog in the yard anymore, or something along those lines... He might still be the big dog, but when he only comes out of his doghouse 1 day a year, it's to the point where I don't want him to go all Ric Flair style and push it way way way too far.

Personally I'd like to see Taker hang it up. He's done everything he needs to do, nothing left to prove. He has his real estate investments so he doesn't need the money, and he's only wrestling once a year, so he's semi-retired anyway. Just call it done with maybe the occasional appearance here or there if he's really needed.

I don't understand why the undertaker isn't on tv. Is he that broken down, that he can't wreslte on Raw once a month, then once every 2 months on a ppv?

Due to his years of effort and loyalty, Mark Calaway is in an enviable position.....one most of us would love to be in. He seems to be financially secure and able to dictate the terms of when he'll go to work.....and is probably paid a boatload of money whenever he chooses to perform. Why work even once a month if you don't have to?

From things we read in the past few years, I believe Calaway's plan was to be fully retired by now. Vince McMahon, who normally likes his employees to work on his unyielding terms, recognized he would lose one of the great money-makers in pro wrestling history if he didn't agree to relax his own rules. So, he offered Calaway the chance to work only in the most high-profile PPV events and offered to pay him a huge amount of cash whenever he performed. Calaway undoubtedly recognized a good thing and agreed to do it. Working in this manner, perhaps he realized he could continue doing it into his 50's, working at a high level of performance while not damaging his long-term health. It's a sweet deal, no doubt.

As to other employees who might object to this, given how they're forced to work a rigorous schedule with hardly any vacation? McMahon probably told 'em that they could have the same deal when they've accomplished what Undertaker has.

If you could work once or twice a year and be paid the equivalent of an annual salary for a regular wage earner, wouldn't you do it? I would.

I think his return would be to set up a match for SummerSlam or at the very least,for a Kodak moment with Shawn Michaels and Triple H.

I don't mind watching Undertaker once a year,because usually his one match is a match-of-the-year contender. I think his future is rather straightforward. WrestleMania match,rest,WrestleMania 30 match vs. John Cena,and the Streak (TM) is either broken,or Undertaker wins and announces that he's retiring.

If it's a one time appearance because of the 1000th episode of Raw, I will have zero interest in what he is doing tonight.

He is most likely just a special attraction for WM. He will be back around WM season. He will probably face Lesnar, and Brock will half ass the match like he did with Goldberg because his contract is up.

The streak won't ever be broken. The last person for him to beat at WM is Cena. After he beats him, the lights will go out and the gong and when the lights come back, he'll be gone, never to be heard from again
